Bunch - I'm no expert (obvs) but I'd maybe leave it a few days to make sure (which I'm sure it will) the line keeps getting stronger and it isn't a chemical? Maybe leave until Monday? Bloody exciting though!

I'm freaking out ladies (TMI WARNING) just been to the loo and got either full on brown spotting or start of my AF (at CD18). I don't have period pains as such but a weird tight feeling over my pubic bone. Going to be gutted if it's AF - not because not upduffed, but because by cycle is obviously (swearing alert) fucked.

Oh Ni I have everything crossed for you. 11 days seems to be okay or me if you go for the end of my fertile window but if it is a negative I wouldn't think you're out for another few days.

My estimated due date will be right by my mums birthday and everything else in our families is in winter so it's a good time for us. Not great for school but at least birthdays are in school holidays. It would be lovely for you to bring some joy to a usually crappy time of year.

Anyone know when I'm supposed to contact my gp/midwife? I may go askin in pregnancy or antenatal. Eek. This seems so weird!

2 more days til I test (4 according to Ovia but I want to do it at the weekend! Sunday will be 11 days dpo so should be ok?) Think I need to prepare myself for a no. Ovia suggested my due date would be at a time of year that has anniversaries and has been a difficult time for my family. I have gotten too attached to the idea of bringing some joy to that time with a new arrival!

I'm not sure how many dpo exactly Shelb as I can't see where that is on Ovia. But start of fertile windo was apparently 16 days ago and last day or fertile window was 11 days ago. **

• I feel so nervous and I can't eat my breakfast. Symptoms well I've been spitting anything and everything. I had cramping last Saturday I took that to possibly be implantation but no spotting. I've been dizzy for the last 2 days. Boobs feel a little fuller. Headache. Feeling impatient and frustrated (apparently a symptom). Bloating has mega kicked off in the last couple of days. And I was super tired yesterday for no reason.

There is a definite line on the cheapos! This is brilliant - one of the original gang too - yeah don't go leaving us!!

Have you any other symptoms? What DPO are you bunch?

I'm testing again on Sunday to give me two days to let those lines darken.

How do I focus all day now? At least I don't have work to do but still I'm going to drive myself mad just me and the dog. Bough I do have 3 or 4 episodes of OBEM to watch

Hopefully as you've waited until Ovia told you to test it shouldn't be a chemical but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I know that seeing my lines disappear last month made me a little insane but I think if you test again over the weekend yours should get reassuringly darker.

I have asked my OH to have a stern word with his sperms as They need to buck up their ideas... I'm testing on Christmas Day and I expect to get a positive! OH is just happy that the monthly sexathon is nearly here

Ni - thank you for that description! Hmm, the left hand side thing is similar and I've not had anything since...god, someone slap me. Please. As you say Runner - uncertainty is the worst part! Just one way or the other, implantation or indigestion.

456 sorry, missed your post. That's a shame about OH and AF.
Will OH get a good redundancy package to tide you over? I know it's still a worry but at least the job market is fairly buoyant at the moment.

Sorry to hear you're feeling crappy Purple.
DH is home with superdrugs own tests. Im using one tomorrow then nothing until Monday if it's negative.

456 that sounds pretty awful. I'm so sorry. At least now he knows he can look for somehow else and has time to do so.

I've been quite relaxed with alcohol. Again I don't drink much. But I've had some spiced cider and a glass of wine this month. I'm hoping to know one way or another before I go to Paris next week. If we get a BFP then despite the super early timing we will tell our parents as we're all together and it'll be a good moment to tell them all. It'll be a big giveaway if I'm not drinking over my birthday and my parents are desperate to be grandparents. AF is due before I go away so I'll know one way or another.

Stupid cycle means I test before AF is due and I'm actually even late. I ovulate 3 weeks before the witch comes it would seem. So although I'm not due her visit for another 5 days I'm supposed to test tomorrow. Anyone else testing this week?

Aww Purple I know how you feel. It's exactly how I felt last month. The fact that AF was late and that I spotted and then it stopped really bothered me but once AF arrived I actually felt much better. It's the not knowing that is upsetting.

My fertile week starts middle of next week so I'm hopping I can stay far more chilled this time

Hi All - not sure what to do now. OH just found out company he works for will be making redundancies and his job is at risk, it will almost certainly go in the new year.

Also AF showed up again (?) on CD9?! Plus point it gives me a little longer to see what comes up before next fertile window.

Hi all, still feeling under the weather here but hoping im on the mend. Thank you for your well wishes earlier in the week ladies you are fab.

stark I totally know some of how your feeling. I had already taken an FR test at the weekend which was negative and then yesterday I had some spotting that was slightly different anyway started hoping again only for another negative test this morning (on the day I was supposed to test). It seems im going to be late with my period too which adds to the emotions. I know it was only the first proper month of trying but you do get your hopes up despite trying to convince yourself to be calm about it.

When I feel well enough I am going to enjoy a big glass of wine! I am enjoying the fact Christimas time is here I love this time of year.

I think I'll adopt the same approach Mor, b fairly relaxed this time and drink an odd glass and then as and when a BFP comes along I won't have anything.

Morwenna both ovulation and "hopefully implantation" pains were just like menstrual cramps. The ov ones were on the right side, stuck around all day for one day, plus had backache (was at the cinema that evening and couldn't find a position to sit in that didn't hurt my back!). With the "hopefully implantation" pains 5 days after ov I initially thought I was having hunger pangs! It wasn't til I focused on it I realised it was more like menstrual cramps, on the left side. Noticed it a couple of times during that evening. Nothing really since. No spotting.

Hmm Shelb - no spotting for me yet! I think what I've read states that it should happen around AF if implantation has happened?

Also feeling pretty down today considering the news. However, I have no desire whatsoever to turn this thread into a political one - there are plenty of those on MN already!
