We weren't supposed to start till January! But we did!
Join us as we ttc #1 after pill/contraception etc.

We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

Oh it's hard to tell Runner. It does look fatter though. Are you able to break them open then can compare next to each other?

Morning ladies, how's things today?

I'm just sat on my bathroom floor trying to work out whether today's opk is darker than yesterday. I think so, the line is fatter and more defined. What do you think?

I'm starting to understand why people tape their ic opk's together for comparison! Hmm

I've made another little baby vest/jumper with matching bonnet! My poor currently imaginary baby will look like it's in a time warp from 1952! 🍼🐘🍰

Mor I tested this morning...simply cos I thought it would be a waste of wee not to test!! It was obviously another bfn so no more tests for me. Pretty certain AF is coming (would die and go to heaven if that turns out not to be true but not likely) Looming forward to hearing your results though!!

I got cheapies from b&m, 3 for a pound! I'll get one "good" test and save that till I've got a bfp on the cheapies! Baby Starky will have Dh's last name, but I took his too, so we'll all be the same.

Mor you might just have to embrace the silent sex while staying with the rents so you don't miss your fertile window!

Ni - I had a few cramps this morning, but then they subsided (but knowing me, maybe it was wind!? Wink)

It's not over till...er, the Witch Bitch rides in! Are you testing with me on Wednesday if nothing has happened?!

This has been the most arduous tww so far....symptom spotting like a maniac, so hard to focus on anything else...1 day to go, sigh! If things don't happen this month, I'm wondering what to do about the next cycle...fertile window is bang on when we're staying with the rents over Christmas (sexy). And will be difficult to avoid drinking lots of alcohol. What is everyone else's plans?

Also, does anyone know how to turn off text notifications from Ovia? I'm getting my phone going off randomly. Today Ovia wanted to know what's going on down there even though I'd put my data in!

Our baby will have OH's surname with my mum's maiden name as a middle name because it's a lovely Irish name and my mum had no brothers to carry it on. I'm keeping my own name because I prefer it to OH's. Don't really mind us having different names.

I'm kind of pleased I gave it a go, just so I'm familiar with how to use them etc. Only on CD 11 now so will try again in a few days. Ovia has fertile window starting on 12th.

I found myself being very old lady like in the supermarket and grumbling to myself about how much things were - £30 for a Clearblue digital ovulation test Shock. Needless to say I didn't get that one.

So exciting that a few of you will be testing at about the same time. Don't cave in Runner!

Pink I can see a very faint line on that but yes, it's safe to say you're not ovulating yet.

Yay! Le 3 way countdown err that's not quite how I meant that to sound!!! we can have a massive pissy stick party in 12 days... Assuming I don't crack and test early which lets face it I will Confused
EWCM happens around ovulation for a couple of days. If you've got it then you are probably fertile but I sometimes get it randomly too.

New I got the ones I'm using in Superdrug but I've got some plain old dippy sticks coming in the post hope I don't need them!! which were just Amazon cheapies.

So, I got a couple of twinges low down this morning. Like pinching. I'm now wondering if that was ovulation pain if so I think I've missed my window for getting more swimmers as OH is shattered bless him.

Starky i think you would have got some odd looks if you had over 400 pregnancy tests in your trolley! I'm very impressed with the moses basket purchase though.

Bubba - the witch is crap, but at least it will be over soon enough so you can get cracking again.

I succumbed today and bought some OPK's. I can see diddly squat on them so safe to say I'm not ovulating! Think I may become addicted though Grin

In terms of names, baby will take OH's name. We are engaged and I will take his name when we get married, and it makes sense to me for us all to have the same name.

Stopped the pill 1st December when I got my period(or whatever the bleeding is you get on the mini pill) strictly not TTC but not not trying to TTC.

Would love to fall pregnant quickly! Very broody

Runner, shelb - my Ovia has reconfigured itself based on my data and giving me 12 days until I test too! I'm on CD 15 and it's reconfigured itself to make today the final day of my fertile window. Not sure what to make of this so will continue DTD at least EOD and monitoring CM. Definitely got EWCM yesterday and today but not sure what that means - is it a sign of ovulation/end of fertile window or the run up to it? I feel I should know this...

Just need to track when I'm ovulating to give me a better chance, as I think the dates Ovia gave me last month were incorrect.. So yes here we go again- 2 weeks off work over Xmas so plenty of time for DTD

Well, Dh is apparently on board, he chuckled gently when I put 6 pregnancy tests in the shopping basket I was being very good here and super reserved, and I knew putting 479 in would alarm him slightly but then, we walked past a charity shop and there was a moses basket, complete with rocking stand, and I thought it was £10 to begin with, but it was actually £1, a singular, solitary pound. So we bought it!

As he said "well, it would be silly not to!" It's in perfect condition, literally not a mark on it! Now I just have to find somewhere to hide it! We'd only just got it in the car, walked into another shop and my dad was there! I was sooooo glad it was already away as that would have been an interesting conversation to have!

Just been reading a last name chat thread and there's so many opposing views abut who's last name to give dc and do you double barrel, what are everyone's plans here?

We are on the same cycle ni and bubba Grin Sorry she got you though! I'm looking at it in a positive way in that it means my nether regions are working to a schedule, so at least I've got an idea of timings!
