I filled up the last thread - sorry ladies... so thought I best start a new one since there is still a long ol' time to go in December!

OP posts:

Thanks for the advice on vitamins MrsMcClaus. I started taking B6, raspberry leaves and agnus castus last month to try and lengthen my luteal phase. This month I think i ov'd on day 10 which is earlier than normal for me(usually average day 12). So it might be helping. What i need now is a longer cycle. My average is 23 days, although the other month it was only 19 days, so luteal phase can be 8-12, days. Going to the docs for a blood test tomorrow morning, so maybe that will tell me more.

facts and figures - i think you should do a test lots of people dont experience symptoms until later on in pregnancy. i wish you the best of luck. keep us informed x

i have had a little cry this evening that was my last chance for a bfp this year and i am now facing new year and due date of my m/c babyless and pregnantless (?) i just feel that i have gone back to square one and life is such a bitch.
we started off the beginning of this year on such a high and now it feels i have hit rock bottom.
i am considering taking a break from ttc having a holiday and then starting again fresh in summer. this is somthing i may have to talk over with dp.
i did have a good feeling about this month too after my spotting thought it could have been implantation but wishful thinking.

sorry to rant on and sound so self absorbed.

FactsAndFigures · 11/12/2006 20:08

Evening everyone.

DD1 & Endless - Congratulations on your BFPs

babylove123 & Eaglebird - welcome to the thread, hoping you get your BFPs soon.

Kittiwakesnowflakes & decorativeD2Bmum - So sorry to hear your AFs have arrived.

I'm not sure what is happening to me . AF was due Friday 8th and as yet I've had no symptoms or spotting. I was on a regular 28 day cycle, however last month, it was a 32 day cycle and I had spotting at 2 days late and AF at 4 days late. I am now 3 days late this time.

I've not tested as yet, as I don't feel pregnant! No sore boobs etc. and I don't feel like AF is on the way either One strange thing that I did notice on Thursday night (day before AF was due) I was led in bed and I had a weird sensation in my lower abdomen - kind of like butterflies IYKWIM??

Has anyone else felt like this and then got a BFP?

festivefettle · 11/12/2006 19:58

Greedy - don't be gone!! I've been away for the weekend. I've only just got back and managed to read through the thread. I'll really really miss you - please come back and say hello and good bye properly. So so sorry to hear AF has come again . I'm still hanging in there 11/12DPO, so only knows whats going to happen (CD52! which is getting on for a record). Oh please hunny, come back so I can say goodbye at least? But I do understand taking a break, I think I'm going to have to sit back and not obsess so much for the next cycle.

Ready - you too, I'm going to miss you so much too. Who's going to make sure I don't test tomorrow morning, just in case? Just for you, I will try and hold off until Friday/Saturday, if by some small miracle there are no AF signs by then. Not really very positive though after this really long cycle.

I'm really sorry to hear about all the AFs that have arrived. Take care all of you and lots of babydust and luck for your next cycles.

UKI & Endless - Congratulations to you both. I wish you healthy, happy 8 months ahead of you both

MrsMCS - I hope the new job is good? And I hope DH is up to action in the next few days?

Impatient, I'm not an expert, but I think I read that if you have lots of wet CM interspersed throughout your cycle, it can be a sign of various things, including polycystic ovaries, anovulatory cycle or even hypothyroidism. However, in nearly all these cases, you wouldn't see the temp rise indication ovulation. Hope you have some clarity on what is going on soon and your BFP in time for Christmas

BTW - what is "spink" value? Am I showing my ignorance? My naivity?

To everyone who I know I've missed, big hugs and luck to you all - please lets get some more BFPs on this thread

Take care all

x

DD1ofcolandgerry · 11/12/2006 17:19

Hi everyone,

Ive been away for so long that Im sure most of you dont know me, but this morning I joined the same club as Endless and Uki. I got a bfp, but Im keeping it a small bfp as Im so scared after the miscarriage in Sept. Like endless I havent been posting, but have been peeping in every so often to catch up. Lots and lots of baby dust to everyone, esp Mrsmcclause and Natty (allthough I havent seen Natty around in a while...I hope you are well). Im not going to check out until I feel that this bfp is going to stick

love and baby dust to all

dd1

ps clomid, preseed and daily bding for 8 nights in a row did the trick!!!
pps...it near killed us!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eaglebird · 11/12/2006 17:12

Congratulations endlesslove & uki !

A bit about me, as I'm a newbie:
I'm 38 & dp is 40. Found I was pg for the first time in August (which was a shock & surprise as we weren't actively trying, although I had come off the pill) but sadly had m/c in October at 12 weeks (baby had died at 6 weeks apparently).
Now desperate to be pg again. This is my first cycle of ttc since the m/c, but haven't been religiously checking the calendar, or measuring temp or checking cm yet.
Af due 20th Dec - hope it doesn't come.
Had a dream last night that I was pg again, so hope it comes true.

sparklytreeangel · 11/12/2006 16:44

Hey Kittiwakes big hug... I hope you feel better soon

Kittiwakesnowflakes · 11/12/2006 16:36

sparklytreeangel · 11/12/2006 15:38

Good luck to everyone else about to test.

I hope the new job is fun MrsMC did you get there in time for their Xmas party?

I am CD18 today with High CBFM, OPK and EWCM. I am happy with amount of bd and good looking temps this month. Trying not to get my hopes up!

decorativeD2Bmum · 11/12/2006 14:30

MerryKitkatmas · 11/12/2006 14:02

Endless and Uki congrats!!! So happy for you both! And always happy to have another CBFM BFP endless!

Hello everyone else!

endlesslove · 11/12/2006 13:32

Hi everyone. Hope your weekends were good and everyone is getting prepared for Christmas.

Well some news from me, I got a BFP on Saturday morning, Saturday night and Sunday morning. So praying with all my strength that this little one sticks.

My tips are that I used the CBFM for the first time and it stated that I ovulated a few days later than what I did when I used the OPKs. I also have been away from Mumsnet as some of you may well know and it did me the world of good. I was still watching you all though, but just didn't post anywhere near as much as I did before. I also had legs in air after every session including a couple of days after ovulation. Only took Pregnacare vitamins and DH took Multivitamins with Zinc in.

I am feeling crampy but this has only been since Saturday afternoon so please do not give yourselves a hard time if you do not notice symptons before AF due, although this is soo hard as I have done the very same every month. (My af was due Sat). Boobs not that much bigger. Just hoping that this BFP will stay for 9 months and will be healthy as am soooo worried.

So wishing you all the very best of luck in the world and I am sending you buckets and buckets of babydust. I will still be with you as you are all too nice to leave!

Take care all xxx

decorativeD2Bmum · 11/12/2006 13:13

forgot to say congratulations uki!!! i missed your bfp part of the post (slaps myself in face for being so sleepy!!)

i hope more of us can come and join you soon. xx

ImpatientElf · 11/12/2006 12:16

Uki, congrats! What a lovely way to start the week!

To all who commiserated about my car: Thank you. Sympathy helps. Perhaps scrubbing graffitti in the rain with a fever after extreme sleep deprivation will turn out to be what I needed to do differently this month to get my bfp...

minxpie · 11/12/2006 12:02

good morning to all.... just been for first session of reflexology, on cd5 today so quite excited with the whole well being etc just before ov and DH around this weekend and some of next week so hopefully good news for the new year.. slightly confused on the temps though as mine seem to be ranging from 37 - 36.1 this morning... does it get higher before ov then lower when af due ?

Mrs McClaus - good luck for new job today

Mincepieshu - how are you?

FactsAndFigures · 11/12/2006 11:58

Good luck to all the MNers who have decided to take a break

Congratulations Uki

Good luck in your new job MrsMcClaus

Kittiwakesnowflakes - My AF was also due on Friday but as yet I've not had any sign or spotting, just raging PMT hormones - fingers crossed your AF stays away. I'm going to try and hold out until Friday until I test - what about you, when do you think you'll test again?

Good luck to everyone else testing this week

decorativeD2Bmum · 11/12/2006 10:46

good morning girls.

a/f is "due" tomorrow but has a tendency to arrive in the evening...
i will not be testing until saturday though should she happen to do a runner (positive wishes and tonnes of babydust plzzz)

i hope you are all ok.

@ uki losing your card twice!! i broke down in tears when i lost this one i cannot stand being without it and knowing that someone has got personal info about me ie account no. you dont know what can happen with all the dodgy people out there.

good luck mrsmc at your new job! im sure everyone will love you just as much as we do!

Kittiwakesnowflakes · 11/12/2006 10:18

BoJingles · 11/12/2006 10:16
