Hi everyone

Festivefettle - Hellooooo [fmile]
CityAngel - how are you cyle buddy?
Impatience - strange things are happening for you...this could be your lucky month maybe
MrMrcClause - hope job is going well

Getting definate crampy type twinges now. Only on CD20 and I'm sure its AF starting to brew, the whole week before yet again What an earth is going on with my body for AF twinges to start a week before its due - this seems a regular event every month now. Feeling all crabby and in pain Does anyone else get this?

Oh .....I said I'd be chilled out this month and already am diagnosisng myself with enometriosis again with these pains

Want Af to just arrive now and then I can tuck into the mulled wine

Juicythe2ndnotsowiseman · 14/12/2006 12:07

Hi Girls,

Just dropped in with some christmas cheer. I have some cheapo OV test kits and would like to make an early christmas gift of them.

I have 24, so would send out 2 lots of 12 each to the first 2 who want them - ala Santas come early

I'm now 16weeks pg, and all is going very well (touch wood) so doesn't look like I'll need them any time soon.

Just let me know if you're interested

Hoping you all get your christmas wish of a BFP soon

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 14/12/2006 11:35

F&F i do hope that it is good news for you!

How is everyone else ?

Just a quick post to say that i am CD 30 and now driving myself mad, thinking shall i or not test!!!! I need the clear blue fairy!
I have all the "Normal symptons' that i think most of us imagine as some point!! i have back ache and sicky feeling on and off but
a) i have sat o the floor for the last 3 nights wrapping presents and b) i have eaten loads this week
Roll on Sunday!

FactsAndFigures · 14/12/2006 09:29

Greedy - no I've not been temping - The idea was not to get too obsessed with TTC However, I'm thinking of starting now so that I can keep some kind of track of what's going on!!

babylove123 · 14/12/2006 09:17

Hi Facts & Figures,

I did ov tests last month and they all came out neg except 1 that poss might have had a feint line. Had the pains too so asumed my anti-biotics were affecting the result. Sending you lots of luck!

greedyformincepies · 14/12/2006 09:15

f and f . do you take your temp or not? it all sounds a bit confusing doesn't it. i guess all you can really do is wait and hope! you tested yesterday didnt you?

greedyformincepies · 14/12/2006 09:13

i am glad i am not the only one to flush my tampons! its nice to know i am not the only one blocking the drains! ours did get blocked a few months ago but that was when my dd went through a stage of pretending to do a poo on the toilet and throwing loads of wet wipes down afterwards! it was sooooooooooooooooooooo cringy talking to the drain unblocking man after he had finished knowing that he had just been up to his elbows in my poo and used tampons! and to think i moan about my job sometimes!!!

festive - thats a long luteal phase you have there girl! i guess it would be though wouldnt it! do you really think (if nothing happens this cycle) that your next bfp/af would be due in feb? i think mine will be about 18th jan. you just never know though do you!

MrsMcBigBoobs - hello, nice to see you. if you are limited on time, dont talk to us, get BDing! its the right time for you right now isnt it! have you used your mrs santa suit yet? I WANT ONE!!!! i will have to make do with a couple of baubles hanging from my nips and some tinsel round my neck!!

perve - hello, how are you doing? i am so pleased you have managed to get some nice relaxed squirting done, i guess all you can do is wait now! due on 25th hey! you will have so much exciting stuff going on with your ds that hopefully it wont become too much of a stressful wait for you!

still no word from the clearblue fairy hey!

both the snowys? whats happening with af?

hiya everyone else (except for sparklytreeangel who forgot me yesterday)!!!!

HAPPY 14TH DECEMBER!!!!

FactsAndFigures · 14/12/2006 08:50

Morning All,

Well no change with me, AF now 6 days late, I think 17 dpo and CD34 of what's normally a 28 day cycle!

festivefettle - I was using the Ov test strips and never received a positive. However, I got a faint line which which lighter than the control line (so not a positive - but only happened twice) on CDs 17 & 18 and I had twinges on my left side - so this is when I told myself I was ov'ing!

babylove123 - thanks for letting me know, it's good to know this happens to others as well IYSWIM!

How is everyone else doing?

Snowyowlet · 13/12/2006 23:26

Hi Folks, sorry for the late posting - working away from home tonight so a late one for me! Anyway - many thanks for asking and so far no AF which is unusual as normally on time, no spotting and tested yesterday with a BFN DH says to take each day as it comes - bless - had weird cramps over Mon and Tues which have now stopped....so still waiting...Like Factsandfigures just want to know especially if AF comes so that I can then deal with it and move on again - why is the 2WW just the worst..and to think I have been trying to extend this with the supplements - self inflicted pain! so with legs crossed lets see what tomorrow brings..
GFMPs - for your tampon research! tampons flush, pads go wrapped up and in the bin (cos apparently they block the drains further down the street - only know cos my DH had to assist neighbour when a blockage occured and neighbour was going to do a fly letter to all street asking them not to deposit! Brave man or what!

MrsMcClaus · 13/12/2006 22:14

Hello ladies! I have missed you all tons and should be catching up with DH rather than you lot so I?ll give myself 10 mins and then go and sniff out some action with him !

AnnieA ? as long as your LP is 10 days plus, you have nothing to worry about, fingers crossed that the 8 day ones are over.

Greedy ? Thanks for asking! [fsmil] Job good, people nice, induction training very lengthy. DH getting better thanks and DC has a new stuckie so the leg is getting a bit better (not a DC last night when she woke me at 3am!). Howz you?!

Hello FestiveFettle ? I hope I have the same experience as you! People aren?t very healthy in my office, they eats chocolate all day and hardly drink any water ? it is also hot as hell, makes a change from the last office though! Ho are you getting on?

Snowyowlet ? how did it go today hun?

Honeyapple ? I always wanted 4 kids ? 1 would be a great start!

Micepieshu ? enjoy your holiday and fingers crossed!

Babylove123 ? feel for you

Welcome Snowdivaflakes! Good luck for Thursday.

Firststar ? that?s lovely

Impatience ? course I prefer you lot

Sorry to all those I?ve not mentioned. Fingers crossed to all testing in the next few days! Babydust?????

ImpatientElf · 13/12/2006 21:43

Just popping in to say I still exist, but insanely busy at the mo so haven't been able to do more than scan thread for updates and just must go eat soon - if ds has indeed finally decided he's going to sleep now...

Remember my peculiar cycle this month? Well, temps rose this morning and cm has finally gone. So perhaps I ov'd or p'haps body just got fed up. Insem'd anyway, in the hope that perhaps this is a good cycle and all those predicable ones were all show and no substance. Insemd the nice relaxing way, with lovely dp doing a couple of the pick ups for me.

So, no idea when af due. My best guess is I ov'd on Mon: I had some vague (unlike usual agony) ov pains Sun & Mon. That'd make a test poss on .... the 25th... But really I am just waiting to see whether my temps stay up. If not, I'll be a boozy elf over c'mas

all the appropriate sentiments to you all. V pleased to see Greedy back here, and Geek. Congrats for those bfp'ers and commiserations to the af'ers.

I guess MrsMc loves her new job more than us

festivefettle · 13/12/2006 20:39

Hi Greedy

Temps still up. But they don't tend to drop until 14/15DPO, sometimes not even until 16 DPO, but I normally have some spotting by around 12/13DPO. I may have had a very tiny amount so far this morning, so I do think it is likely to be all over very soon. And blimey was I emotional and grumpy this morning - wouldn't have wanted to have crossed me before lunch!! Feeling much calmer now. Odd AF-pain rumbles as well, so expecting something to happen soon.

In that desperate knicker-watch time now - don't know how many times I went to the loo today to check! Sad isn't it?

Hope you doing ok? I'll be with you soon, perhaps we can start a hoping for positive Feb thread together, although you'll probably know in Jan won't you?

Take care
x

MrsMc - hope new job not too hard work - not heard from you in a while?

Hello everyone else, GeekInSillySantaHat, BoJingles, FactsAndFigures, Merrykitkatmas,
Sparklytreeangel, SnowyOwlet, ticklemewithpinktinsel, xmassycharlotte,
eaglebird, honeyapple, sparklybits and anyone who I know I'll have missed.

xxx

greedyformincepies · 13/12/2006 19:56

oooooooohhhhhh! festivefettle! i cant wait to read your posts at the moment!!! at least your super long cycle will finally be coming to an end whatever happens! how are your temps looking?

festivefettle · 13/12/2006 18:43

Hi All

same as BoJingles - flush tampon, wrap and bin applicator! Oh, the things we discuss on here!

How is everyone doing? I hope you get some answers one way or the other FandF. Do you have a definite date when you ov'd? Or do you just go on normal/regular cycles (very [festive] of that!!!)

No news here, 13/14DPO and just waiting. Not thinking either way to save myself and don't want to test as I'll find out one or another soon enough.

Must go and interact with my current family though! hopefully I'll pop back later.

take care all

x

YuleTideways · 13/12/2006 18:21

Hello everyone

Snowyowlet - well? well? well?

As for tampons, I sometimes flush them, sometimes wrap. I lived abroad for a few years somewhere even putting toilet paper in the toilet could block up the entire system for weeks, so flushing was not an option. The habit got rid of any sqeamishness .

babylove123 · 13/12/2006 16:42

Hi Factsandfigures,

Good luck to you! Although i had the same as greedy last month

FactsAndFigures · 13/12/2006 16:16

Greedy - Thanks for your post - useful to know.

I haven't got to the thinking/hoping stage, that I am pregnant as I've not had any symptoms so I'm just wishing AF would hurry up so that I know where I am and can get on with it

steffy1 · 13/12/2006 16:03

flush mine-im only female in house full of boys so dont want everyone knowing! towels go wrapped up in wheelie bin in a nappy bag

Eaglebird · 13/12/2006 15:48

I put used tampons & pads in a nappy bag, and put them in the bin.

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 13/12/2006 15:44

must say i also flush!

Where is the Clearblue fairy!!!!! - Cant find the thread

BoJingles · 13/12/2006 14:24

Oh yuk Greedy!! Always flush mine - the thought of anyone finding them is soo embarrassing I do wrap up applicator and put in the bin though.

greedyformincepies · 13/12/2006 13:55

i have got a really gross question for all you girlies now!!...this is the only place i can ask this!!!!!!......do you flush your tampons when you are at home or wrap them up and put them in the bin? i have always flushed mine (even when i am out and you are supposed to use the waste bins) but i read on the box the other day that you should wrap them and put them in the bin which seems a bit messy and yuk to me!.....so i just wondered what you ladies do?

greedyformincepies · 13/12/2006 13:49

BY THE WAY .....MrsMcBigBoobs! Perve! Ready! where are you!!!!????

greedyformincepies · 13/12/2006 13:48

facts and figures - the same happened to me last month. af was a few days later than normal and i had no af symptoms so i was secretly convinced i was pg even though i got 3 bfns. it was so much harder when af arrived because i had convinced myself i was pg. so try not to get carried away thinking exciting things! HOPEFULLY you will be pg obviously, but i dont want you to end up like me if af does arrive. do you know how many dpo you are?

FactsAndFigures · 13/12/2006 13:40

Hi geekInSillySantaHat - I'm feeling confused, if I'm honest. I would just like to know what's going on

I don't think that I'm pregnant as I've not had any symptoms but on the otherhand I've not had any AF symptoms either - apart from some mild cramps yesterday morning and evening which led to nothing.
