XmassyCharlotte · 15/12/2006 09:23

Big congratulations festivefettle Xmas Grin Xmas Grin - even though I've only been coming on here for 3 or 4 weeks I get all emotional reading about each and every BFP that is announced!!

I guess that's because it's such an emotional announcement, especially when you know how much everyone here is yearning for one, and how much effort is being put in Xmas Smile.

Best of luck to you and Happy Christmas! Btw, one of my closest friends miscarried her first (found out at the 3 month scan) and also said she didn't have any symptoms right from the start. Her second pg was absolutely fine and she now has a beautiful 6 mo girl Xmas Smile.

whoopsfallenoffthexmastree · 15/12/2006 07:03

Hello,
Can I join you? I'm ttc number 3!
I had my coil out in September and dh agreed to no more conracteption!
I have no idea what my cycle is like at the moment so have been pinning dh down every night because the best christmas present I could have this year would be to have a BFP

FactsAndFigures · 15/12/2006 06:32

FestiveFettle - CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP

MrsMc - Sorry to hear that you're DH is not up for BDing - I can imagine how frustrating that is when you're concentrating 110% on TTC I did a test on Weds am first thing and it was a BFN

Snowyowlet - Fingers crossed for tomorrow

snowdivaflakes - I hope AF stays away

PeckaRolloverAgain - Unfortunately, I can't offer you any advice but hope everything works out for you.

Good luck to everyone else

Well things are still the same with me no AF and no BFP symtoms either - AF is now exactly one week late

babylove123 · 14/12/2006 23:14

Good luck snowyowwlet, hope it goes well for you!

babylove123 · 14/12/2006 23:13

Congratulations Festivefettle! Thats great news! I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy

Snowyowlet · 14/12/2006 22:51

Well done Festivefettle - so pleased to hear of another BFP.

Im still waiting overdue by 2 days now, so not sure what is going on and too scared to test yet. Will test on Saturday if nothing tomorrow!

MrsMc - sorry to hear about DH,mine goes like that sometimes too - thinks that BD once a month is adequate when he is on a go slow...and doesnt realise my body clock is ticking fast. Causes domestics but making up is fun

Thechristmassyone - sorry to hear about AF - I too will be rocking around the xmas tree on xmas day if AF arrives shortly. Keeping legs crossed til then!

snowdivaflakes · 14/12/2006 22:17

OMG, festivefettle
BIG FAT Congratulations. Lovely news. I tempted but i have no test now.

snowdivaflakes · 14/12/2006 22:16

Juicy , i emailed you. I thought i have 2pk of Tesco tests, but i found 2pk of used ones. I presume i put the brand new ones in the bin last month. Duh`
never mind, it will help me to keep temptation away.
Thnx

festivefettle · 14/12/2006 22:16

Ok girls - sorry Clearbluefairy, I needed a wee, so I tested. I've done it, I've got a BFP!!!!! Not bad for a 56day cycle!!!

So so happy. It is almost a year since we last conceived, but then had mc at 9 weeks, so now I suppose the worry starts for the next 8 weeks, but oh I'm so so happy. With the last pg, I just didn't feel pg right from the start, but I've had symptoms for a week now, but just didn't want to let on to you all, in case they were just in my mind.

I do so hope that you all join me very soon. Thank you so so much for your support over the last couple of months. Especially Greedy - I was so low the evening, I clicked on the hoping for Nov thread having found out my best friend was pg again and discovered Greedy going through a very similar experience to me and you've kept me so positive through it all. Thank you so much for being there for me, all of you

I feel guilty feeling so happy, when I know all you lovely ladies so deserve your BFPs too. Lots of babydust and love to you all
take care
x

thechristmassyone · 14/12/2006 21:24

good luck for tomorrow festive fettle (there should be a fingers crossed emoticon for this)

festivefettle · 14/12/2006 21:21

Oh Pecka - {{{HUGS}}} - I hope it is all ok.

How is everyone else?

MrsMc - sorry to hear that work is so busy and that DH is not up to his part of the bargain. Maybe you should use the MissSanta outfit early.

Juicy - great to hear from you. I can't believe you are 16 weeks already, it goes so fast (at least it seems to from this side!!) Good luck with the rest of your pg

Hope you ov'ing ones are not on here wasting precious BD-ing time!

Hello fellow 2WW hope all is well with everyone, Snowy, Diva, Eagle, Tickleme (I've just scanned the thread and I forgotten everyone already - sorry! I'll never keep up with MrsMc!).

I'm still hanging in there Greedy, now 14/15DPO and not really had any spotting yet so far. Desperately trying not to symptom spot, because as soon as I do that I feel that I've jinxed myself. Told myself I would test on Friday (tom) if temp still up and no AF and now I'm really scared about doing so. Clearbluefairy would be so proud of me - I really miss her and Ready

Take care all.

x

MrsMcClaus · 14/12/2006 20:43

Pecka, I'm so sorry, I know nothing about that but just want to offer you my support. Hope you get a resolution soon.

MrsMcClaus · 14/12/2006 20:37

Evening ladies! How are you all? Meant to be working and so need to get on (STILL handing over the old job ) but need a MN fix first!

Snowyowlet ? don?t work too hard, you?ve got to take care of yourself! Hope AF stays away. I have the same disposal habits as you!

FactsandFigures ? Fingers crossed, looking exciting for you. Have you tested? Sorry if I?ve missed that! Hate those OV strips and the pee on ones, I vowed not to use them again but I am having pains (left and right! ) so I thought I?d use one I had but think I might have just peed on the wrong type of test stick as didn?t get the lines you are meant to get with the Boots ones even when not OV )

Hello Greedy PMSL at your loo investigation and your seasonal decorations and your name for me ! DH is so not up for BDing he can?t be bothered, nothing to do with pain. I had a frank chat with him when I got home tonight and told him about Cityangel?s/Sparkleytreeangel?s (think it was you STA!) idea for DIY until the right moment, he seemed more enamoured by that but only if I drive to the garage and buy him ?reading materials? ? he sure knows how to make me feel sexy. Anyway, what?s the bet I STILL don?t get any, anyone else feel murderous sometimes? He is so blasé about the whole TTC thing and it?s all I can think about, if only he?s just get a bit more conscientious, we might get somewhere .

Hello Babylove123 ? I gave up on OPKs a couple of cycles ago, I just kept getting negatives and it was making me mad! [fmsile] Still get the urge to use the ones up that I have but they are always a source of annoyance.

Ticklemepink ? really feel for you, the 2ww is the WORST bit of the cycle, really hope it is your lucky cycle, try and hold out on testing just yet ? I?m not the ClearBlue Fairy but I can try ?Step away from the test?

Juicy ? how lovely to see you! thank you for the Christmas cheer, very kind of you. Thank you for your offered gift, I shall pass and leave the goodies to the ladies that they work for ? if you?ve got any spare BFP, I?ll have one of those 16 weeks, that?s incredible, I am so pleased it is all going well for you . Do you see Andi on the AN boards? Say hello to her for me and wish her well ? I miss you both tons!

BoJingles ? that?s funny you should say that about endometriosis, I am sitting here on cd12 with sharp pains on both the left and right wondering the same thing, also hoping that the propensity for genetic twins is actually kicking in and that I have two viable eggs on the way ? the things we think about hey? Hope you feel better soon.

Yuletideways ? how are you doing?

Sparklytreeangel ? with that attitude, you?ll definitely get your BFP this cycle! Fingers crossed.

Honeyapple ? I used to check my CP but then decided that I might be messy around with the CM up there and also read that the CP changes throughout the day so I decided it was unreliable for me and gave it up.

Snowdivaflakes ? fingers crossed the old hag stays away and you get that BFP .

Eaglebird ? it seems that a miracle is often the missing ingredient that a lot of us need ? hope you get yours

Impatience ? how are you hun? Well and truly OV?

Ready ? I miss you and your compassion and your lovely little ways and your funny sense of humour and your knowledge about good, real food. I hope you are ok, please come back but only if you feel it does you good

Pecka - off to look at your thread hon. xx

thechristmassyone · 14/12/2006 20:32

Hi ladies, how's things? Pecka - can't offer any advice, just keeping my fingers crossed for you. AF arrived for me on Tues, so will be BDing all over xmas in our new house. I have bought a thermometer too and am going to start charting my temps (an early xmas pressie to myself-how sad am i?)

Eaglebird · 14/12/2006 19:51

Hi ladies.
Af due 20th, and boobs are starting to get sore -not sure if it's normal pre-af soreness of something else . Also boobs feel a bit swollen, sort of spongy feeling, and not the usual pre-af lumpiness.
Probably wishful thinking, as only managed to bd once during fertile time, so if I got pg this month it would be a miracle

honeyapple · 14/12/2006 18:19

Hi Pecka,

Sorry I can't really help. I'm very sorry to hear of your situation. I would probably agree with the other posts on that thread though. Are you still bleeding?

PeckaRolloverAgain · 14/12/2006 17:53

Hi girls

Can any of you help me with this?

www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=49&threadid=253068

I know some of you are very knowledgable!

snowdivaflakes · 14/12/2006 17:53

Hi girls,
been out all day. any good news today?
im due today, have no sign of af. havent tested yet, but got temptation as i bought 2pk tesco test last month, and that evening af came.
good luck to everyone.
diva

honeyapple · 14/12/2006 17:43

HI guys, well i'm just into the beginning of the 2ww. However lots to keep my busy so hopefully it will fly by!

Does anyone feel their cervix for ov signs???

Juicythe2ndnotsowiseman · 14/12/2006 16:40

OK, girls - email me at amm1967 at yahoo . com and I'll get them off to you tomorrow.

sparklytreeangel · 14/12/2006 14:25

Hi BoJingles cycle buddy... all is well with me.
CD20 OV late! Lots of bd so am a more hopefull bunny than last month
If it doesn't happen that's ok for a bit too as I have 2 group holidays coming up!
Sorry you have early AF pain. I'll swap you that for a shorter cycle!
This month I will have more of an idea if I have a short luteal phase or just OVd later...
How is everyone else?

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 14/12/2006 13:41

Hi Juciy, can i also have some please xx ( pinkranger - non christmas)

xx

Cant belive you are that far already!

YuleTideways · 14/12/2006 13:08

Juicy, I'd love some please.

Glad the pregnancy is going well

XmassyCharlotte · 14/12/2006 12:11

BoJingles - I had this last cycle... it was so annoying! Cramps started a week before AF; sore boobs for about 10 days before too. I NEVER normally get symptoms like this but sure enough, AF came, pretty much on the dot.

I wondered whether my body is reacting differently because I've just started TTC and it's gearing itself up, creaking into action as it registers the amount of babygoo swimming around up there!!! TMI - sorry!
