Thought I'd start a November thread for those of us left over from the October thread. (I hope this is ok and I'm not bypassing some sort of forum etiquette).

Here are my stats:

Oh, and good luck Pulpi. I think we must have been posting at the same time!

Namethattune · 13/11/2015 19:07

Good luck Spots. Anyone else testing over the weekend?

pulpi · 13/11/2015 19:06

Good luck, spots! I'll be POAS this weekend as well, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that this month is our month!

quitecrunchy · 13/11/2015 18:29

Best of luck spots

Spotsondots · 13/11/2015 11:44

Hello ladies

Congratulations to the new BFPs and welcome to our new passengers. I'm still here. CD39, no AF yet. Had a call from the GP surgery earlier this week asking me to contact doctor next week to arrange a referral. Can only assume this means bloods/scan confirmed PCOS... Going to POAS over weekend at some point so I know what's what when I call on Monday... No idea if I am pregnant or not. Sometimes I think AF is just about to start, other times I think not so much. Only one way to find out I guess... Am putting off testing as I'll be so gutted if it turns out negative...

redstrawberries101 · 13/11/2015 07:55

Owlina - your right, it doesn't. I'll keep fingers crossed for you all. Big hugs X

Mimilicious013 · 13/11/2015 03:59

I know what you mean Owlina.Af showed with lots of cramps and backache.so good luck to everyone yet to test

OwlinaTree · 12/11/2015 22:23

melvali I'm sure you are trying to be supportive but the old 'just relax it'll happen' if not true for everyone I'm afraid.

ETD 20th November

April showers, when I first came onto mums net for the first time a few weeks ago I was suprised and shocked at how people were hoping they would fall pregnant on the first cycle. In my head I had that it would be really rare and usually would take at least six months.

When we started trying I checked the calendar and saw that it was the last day of my fertile window. I had no expectations at all and thought oh well missed opportunity and will just properly start trying next month. However a week before AF arrived I got severe cramping as if AF was coming, but the timing seemed bit odd. I promised myself I wouldnt test unless I had to, but then I started feeling nauseous. My cycle is usually 29-30 days so on day 29 I tested and got a positive.

I feel really happy and lucky (given I had major surgery a few years ago to remove most of my pancreas and spleen and was left with many health issues). I honestly thought it would take a lot longer

Point of my story is that it happens when you least expect it and given my situation, chances were so minimal but it happened. Therefore I think stress definitely contributes!! You can only control what you can and that is your diet exercise supplement intake. It will happen. Don't lose hope!!

AddictedtoGreys · 12/11/2015 13:03

somnambulator I am planning on testing next Saturday which is when AF is due

Namethattune · 12/11/2015 12:48

Nucky I think I am actually you!! I'd never seen a negative pregnancy test until I started ttc DC2 either. Let us know what the dr says.

AprilShowers16 · 12/11/2015 12:35

Melvaili I'm enjoying reading your cyber slaps and pep talks :) They're very helpful. I'm not planning on testing until missed AF - for one thing I don't want to spend £s on tests when AF will tell me for free!

redstrawberries101 · 12/11/2015 11:53

Really hard I know,, but try leaving the test till when you have missed AF and have symptoms .. Rather than testing in hope. Setting yourselves up for a fall that way. I would go mental and probably need sectioned after seeing negative after negative. It starts playing tricks on your mind. Remember anything up to a year is normal. I hope in the meantime you are focusing on being in the best of health for when it does happen!

MrsNuckyT · 12/11/2015 11:17

name - are you me?? I also conceived DS instantly. I got married on the Saturday and ovulated on the Monday and hey presto! Had never done a test before I got my BFP with him! I now feel like I'll never see a BFP again... Not sure what to do next, but going to speak to doc about it today and see if it is too early to consider testing...

Somnambulator · 12/11/2015 10:58

addicted I'm CD20 today too with 29-31 day cycles. When are you thinking of testing? The wait is killing me although I have absolutely no symptoms so am feeling like it's going to be another BFN this month.

AddictedtoGreys · 12/11/2015 10:55

mimi my cycles are usually 28 days but I was on the pill so not really sure now. Last time I came off the pill they stayed at 28 days.

Mimilicious013 · 12/11/2015 10:55

Good luck

Namethattune · 12/11/2015 10:54

MrsNucky I'm similar to you. Also 36, and on cycle 6. I fell pregnant instantly with DD1, so finding all these fruitless 2ww really depressing. Also, I'm so good at convincing myself that I'm pregnant when I'm not, then I always feel like an idiot when af arrives, especially if I've done an early test.

I'm starting to hate pregnancy tests, as they're so resoundingly negative. At least with a OPK test there's usually some sort of line!!

Mimilicious013 · 12/11/2015 10:53

Addicted cd 20 is too early for bfp.how long are your cycles ?im on cd24 and af due next week but for some reason just been to the loo and noticed sme brownish stuff so i think i might be out sooner than i thought.Name i so get u when u say this ttc business drives one insane.mrsnuckysorry hey and good on your medical today.hang in there it just might be your month.fxSerious welcome and happy ttc

MrsNuckyT · 12/11/2015 10:37

name I'm with you, I'm starting to feel really fed up.

AF is due on Sunday and I have a full medical today which should include a smear so I tested to see if there was any reason to avoid the smear. Used a FR and absolutely positively no second line.

This is cylce 7 for me and I'm 36. I feel it is hopeless at this stage!! Seeing an NCT friend tonight who is pregnant with her second. I am genuinely excited for her but know it will stir up feelings of 'why isn't it me too?'

Namethattune · 12/11/2015 10:18

I've woken up feeling rubbish today. Really hormonal and weepy, so I suspect I'm premenstrual, and af is on its way. This ttc business is starting to get me down.

AddictedtoGreys · 12/11/2015 09:24

Hi mimilicious I am CD 20 Smile but will be too soon to test for BFP won't it?
