Woke up to AF this morning (boo!). One day early which makes for my shortest cycle in a long time. Better a day early than a day late I suppose. So my test date's towards the end of the month; hoping to see many BFPs on the thread before then Smile

Loki17 · 29/10/2015 12:14

You will have dtd yesterday so try not to worry, Wanting. This is why I have stopped using opks, they stress you out.

I'm on cd 20, 6 dpo and have had a little cry. I feel so emotional. I'm scared it isn't going to happen and I feel sad today.

Bring on the friction burn, we are trying to make a human.

I hardly notice ewcm. Tried taking evening primrose this month but made me feel sick so stopped. Hopefully the amount of bonking has mitigated this!!

Lovely to see such supportive ladies. Sorry to those that mc, cant imagine the heartache.

xxx

Hi ladies, I'm new here :) I posted a seperate thread saying hello but was advised to jump in here!

I'm 29 and It's my first month off the pill in 14 years! I stopped taking it 2 and a halfish weeks ago, and have no idea if I've ovulated yet. Does that make me "Cycle 1" or do you wait until you've had a period to start counting it?

We've DTD a fair few times and my obsessive nature is already going "Could it happen that quick?" But my logical side is telling me to shut up!

Trying since May, currently cycle #4 after MMC/ERPC in August, just had a CP so everything crossed this time round. Losing hope tbh.
ETD 21/11 ish. Want to be a few days late, all early testing has ever brought me is stress. My DD has an August birthday so if we manage it this month we'll have 2 August babies!

wantingno2 · 28/10/2015 12:37

Thanks loki we dtd this morning so will do again tomorrow and the next 2 days just to be sure I'm bloody worn out lol my oh thinks all his christmas's have come at once with all this sex just hope he remembers the lack of sex he will be getting when I am pregnant haha

Loki17 · 28/10/2015 12:25

I would dtd as much as possible for the next couple of days x

OP posts:
wantingno2 · 28/10/2015 11:30

Thanks I'm going to do another opk later as a lot of people get a stronger surge later in the day but will definitely dtd in the morning and probably the day after just to be sure I don't miss it lol

mamaneedsamojito · 28/10/2015 11:21

Ah, just read that you have DTD today already. I'd skip tonight and DTD tomorrow... Then put your feet up for a few days Smile

mamaneedsamojito · 28/10/2015 11:20

I think a positive needs the test line to be as dark as the control line. That looks very close though so I'd definitely DTD tomorrow or tonight. You want to do it before you ovulate ideally.

wantingno2 · 28/10/2015 11:01

Sorry to keep pestering everyone but is this a positive opk we dtd this morning and and every day this week will I need to dtd tomorrow morning also??.

The November Bus: Bonfires and BFP'S!
mamaneedsamojito · 28/10/2015 06:11

7DPO here and I've promised myself I won't test until at least 14DPO (if I get that far). When I had DS I got negatives on 10DPO and 12DPO then a strong positive on 14DPO so I know that testing early is probably pointless. I didn't have any symptoms last time either so I'm trying not to look for them. It's weird being in limbo and thinking I could be 3 weeks pregnant... or not!

Loki17 · 27/10/2015 22:29

Cd18 and 4 dpo here. I'm starting to get slightly achy boobs from the post ov progesterone surge so I'm really hopeful I ov'd when I thought I did. I'm not symptom spotting either just yet which is a mahoosive improvement on last month when I tested at 4dpo Blush. If nothing else, I'm getting reacquainted with my cycle after the implant which can only be a good thing. Hope everyone else is doing ok xx

Love that link Loki really interesting!

wantingno2 · 27/10/2015 20:24

I got a faint line on the opk befor so hoping tomorrow will be the day I'm on cd 14 hoping it's soon not sure what's going on as I got a pretty strong line on cd 10 very confused

Loki17 · 27/10/2015 18:30

I've been using this website:
pregnancy.familyeducation.com/first-trimester/week-2-of-pregnancy/65801.html
and I'm finding it really helpful and informative. It is scary, because it explains the science behind how are bodies work and by reading it I have realised just how small a chance I have each month. However, it is somehow making me feel so much calmer during the tww. I think it is helping me to understand just how and why I can't control conception! Thought others might want a look anyway x
