Thought I'd start a November thread for those of us left over from the October thread. (I hope this is ok and I'm not bypassing some sort of forum etiquette).

Here are my stats:

Hi all and welcome to the newbies. I've just posted this in a separate thread, but no replies, so thought I'd repeat here:

This is my 4th cycle using the CBAFM. My peak days have been varying by a day or two each month so it is good to have it to keep an eye on what is going on, especially as I have long-ish and not completely regular cycles. However, I've had a minimum of 4 high days before peak each cycle. One cycle I had 7 high days before the peak!!

This cycle I'd got to CD15 without a high. I finally got it yesterday and then this morning couldn't believe my eyes when I got a peak - when I removed the test stick I could see two strong dark lines. Has anyone else ever had this before? Can't understand why, instead of the usual slow build up, I've just suddenly shot up to peak literally overnight. Any thoughts on what this might mean or if it affect chances.

Any thoughts? Is this weird?

Thurlow · 02/11/2015 11:49

Morning all - addicted, I'm also first month off the Pill and have no idea what's going on. I think I would be due AF some time in the next few days but stupidly I didn't really pay much attention to when I finished the Pill, so this is all relying on guess work Blush No signs that AF is coming really. But no signs of anything else. Waiting until the end of the week to test as I'm on a spa break on Thursday and sod it, I'm going in and having a drink, I don't want to do the "living as if pregnant" thing in the very 1st month TTC.

How do people know they are ovulating with the sticks? Confused Maybe I haven't ever been paying much attention but I've never noticed more discharge, raised temperature etc.

Hoping on also.

Ttc #2 number one is 20 months
Cycle 1 but missed ovulation for this month so not a massive chance.

MagpieCursedTea · 02/11/2015 10:45

Not knowing what your own body is doing is one of the frustrating parts of TTC isn't it? Along with all the waiting!
Hope your cycle settles down soon.

AddictedtoGreys · 02/11/2015 10:05

Magpie it was heavier than spotting but not as heavy as a heavy period. More like a light period. But didn't last long. I didn't think implantation as surely 2 days would be too soon. I heard about a withdrawal bleed? Not sure what this is though

wantingno2 · 02/11/2015 09:14

I might just phone them and try and rearrange it

MagpieCursedTea · 02/11/2015 09:10

Addicted I think it's quite normal for your body to do weird things when coming off the pill, it seems too early for implantation bleeding. Was it heavy bleeding or just a bit of spotting?

Wanting 8dpo will most likely be too early to test. Can you mention where you are in your cycle to the person doing the scan? They'll either be able to reassure you that it's fine or do the scan another time.

wantingno2 · 02/11/2015 08:40

So what's the earliest I can test? I've got a scan on my ovaries on Friday I will be 8 dpo and I'm worried there going to push to hard on me it will be to early won't it?

I'm jumping on this bus too! Stopped the pill and now don't know what's going on. This is the first month off the pill, had normal period for 4 days after stopping. And had another random bleed yesterday? For about an hour? Anyone else had this? Never happened when ttc#1. But dtd on day 7.

wantingno2 · 01/11/2015 22:11

Yes the 2ww definitely socks queen I'm gonna be so pissed if it's not happened this month because I've had so much sex and I'm not the biggest fan lol

queenoftheworld93 · 01/11/2015 22:05

I'm starting to think the only fun week of a monthly cycle is the week-long BD-athon before ov! Tww sucks big time!

wantingno2 · 01/11/2015 22:04

Hahaha loki don't worry ur not the only crazy one I think we're all going a little mad.

Loki17 · 01/11/2015 22:02

At least we can all be crazy together! Good luck, Bonkers; I hope this is your month!

Thisisbonkers · 01/11/2015 22:00

AF has gone. Back on it. Well, I say that, still feeling a bit meh due to impending tests. But the only way to avoid them is to get up the duff first!

queenoftheworld93 · 01/11/2015 21:59

I'm not even going to tell you the symptom I just googled Loki Grin can't even sneeze without wondering if that is an early Preg sign! I think we might all be going mad!

Loki17 · 01/11/2015 21:52

So I've just had a small nosebleed. I've never had one in my life before. So what is the first thing I do? Google 'nosebleeds in very early pregnancy'!!!!! I've officially lost the plot! The cause is most likely stress induced because I'm flipping mental! GrinBlush

wantingno2 · 01/11/2015 21:41

It's so hard to relax and not scrutinise every twinge and possible symptom when it's what you want isn't it but I've swore to myself I will not test early but I will probably cave in because I just can't help myself.

quitecrunchy · 01/11/2015 21:06

Oh early testing's a bitch isn't it? I was so adamant last cycle I was going to wait until AF was due but then I caved at (estimated) 9 dpo after I had what I thought to be implantation pains at 6 dpo. It just brought me down after having quite a cheerful week 1 of the TWW, even knowing it was probably too early to tell anyway.

I hereby swear that I will not pee on a stick until AF is due this time round!

Best of luck to the TWW-ers, I've my fingers crossed for you!

MagpieCursedTea · 01/11/2015 20:51

Ooh that does help! I ovulated on CD16 on previous clomid cycles (when I had DS) but I don't remember the OPKs. Will try to stop worrying!

wantingno2 · 01/11/2015 20:39

magpie I dint even have a line on cd13 but then ovulated on the 16th so I wouldn't worry so much

MagpieCursedTea · 01/11/2015 20:27

I'm currently waiting to ovulate, CD13 and not even a faint second line on the (many) OPKs so not feeling hopeful.
Fx for everyone in the 2WW!

wantingno2 · 01/11/2015 18:10

ow I didnt no that so that's a good sign then fingers crossed for everyone let's hope this one's as lucky as the October bus x

Loki17 · 01/11/2015 18:08

Sore boobs are a symptom of ovulation, Wanting. At least you know you've ov'd! I get them a couple of days after ov too.

Fingers crossed for everyone x

wantingno2 · 01/11/2015 17:30

Hey loki the waiting is horrible isn't it I'm wither 2 or 3 days post ovulation and I'm already symptom spotting ino it's ridiculous isn't it I've got really sore boobs today more so the right book which o never get but ino it must be in my head as it's way to early for symptom spotting have you done any more tests I was continously testing from 8 dpo last month it just depressed me so going to try and hold off as long as I can this time x
