Thought I'd start a November thread for those of us left over from the October thread. (I hope this is ok and I'm not bypassing some sort of forum etiquette).

Here are my stats:
Loki
ttc #2
Cycle 2
CD 14
ETD 6th November

If you could temp to confirm whether you've started ovulating again that would be really helpful. My cycles were crazy after coming off the pill a few years ago! Didn't go back to normal for months.

MissClarke86 · 02/11/2015 21:46

Scottish I'm completely in the same boat! Stopped pill 3 weeks ago, no natural period yet. We had unprotected sex a few times but OH has since said he wants to wait till Jan. Still can't help thinking there's a small chance! So no useful information, just a similar situation!

ScottishLady7 · 02/11/2015 21:42

Hi guys, can I join?
I'm 27 and my DH is 41. We got married in July and I stopped my pill (dianette) 3.5 weeks ago and have decided we want to ttc #1.
Does anyone have any experience with how quickly your cycle returns to normal?
I'm using the ovia app and we coincidentally dtd during my "fertile window" without realising so it's in my mind that I COULD be pg but I know it's unlikely since I haven't had a normal period since coming off the pill.
Any advice or words of wisdom?
I didn't realise how much I want a baby until I started reading these boards and saw how tough the process is for so many couples and I'm now starting to get a bit freaked!

Looking forward to going on the journey with you guys!

Thanks loki

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 20:32

Do I count from cd16

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 20:11

Thanks! Right back at you!

I can't work out how many days post ovulation I am I ovulated on the cd15

wantingno2 · 02/11/2015 20:09

Good luck for the morning loki I hope this is your month.

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 20:08

I think so. It says to wait 10 minutes to confirm a negative result so I went and made DD's packed lunch and then went back. (I washed my hands!) I'm not holding any hope. I'll test again (and again and again) tomorrow!

I got my bfp with dd at 11dpo it was very faint though. I had to break the test apart to see it. These ic tests are just too tempting to pee on!

OP posts:
wantingno2 · 02/11/2015 20:05

test again in the morning loki did it show up in the time frame?.

Grace893 · 02/11/2015 20:04

meant but not- gosh i cant type tonight

Grace893 · 02/11/2015 20:04

That does sound a bit early, not not impossible - sending you positive thoughts for a BFP

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 20:01

This evening, 10 dpo. It must be an evaporation line

OP posts:
quitecrunchy · 02/11/2015 19:59

Ooh Loki definitely a line but I'm not 100% sure what an evap line looks like. Take another test maybe? Fingers crossed! X

Grace893 · 02/11/2015 19:57

Sorry forgot to put Loki

Grace893 · 02/11/2015 19:56

When did you take it?

quitecrunchy · 02/11/2015 19:55

Thurlow I'm not sure if you can actually tell with confidence when you're ovulating from the sticks alone, just when you have the LH surge. I started using OPKs last month and never got a positive, but had a couple of days where the line was there and quite strong so I'm hoping I O'd soon after that. I was waiting til I came home from work at about 7 but got absolutely nothing apart from at the weekend during the afternoon so thinking maybe I need to be testing during the day despite the faff. Tips for getting away with it at work without locking yourself in the loo for 10 mins welcome if anyone else has got the routine down already!

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 19:52

This is an evaporation line, isn't it?

Hi everyone, symtom spotting here too. plus widly swing from extreems: 'defenitly not pregnant, dont feel pregnant' to 'OMG I just felt a twing down there- defenitly implantation cramps, I am so pregnant' I am going mad Blush.

addicted a withdrawal bleed is the first bleed you have after coming off hormonal contraceptive. It is not considered a period and those only count when you start your normal menstral cycle. I think the term is also used when you have had a anovualtion cycle aswell but im not 100%.

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 17:46

The upside of me imagining that I've gone off chocolate and wine (and also eating healthily because we are ttc) is that I've lost half a stone without really trying. Every cloud and all that! Grin I've got mild af cramps so I'm thinking the witch is going to get me. Not due until Friday/Saturday so will be annoyed if she comes early. I really don't want to start worrying about cycle length on top of everything else.

9dpo and in a right grumpy mood. Did one of the ICs this evening and got a BFN. I've bought a pack of frers though and will use them closer to period (due Friday). Trying to symptom spot but don't feel any different to normal. The only 'symptom' I have is that PMS hasn't started yet! I usually get really upset and down in the dumps for a week or so. Not complaining about that one though.

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 13:19

I'm 10 dpo today and, in spite of myself, I'm symptom spotting. I've got sore and tingly boobs which can be explained by the post ov progesterone surge or impending af. I've got a headache which can be explained by the fact that I've started to wear my glasses again because I'm working on my computer a lot. I've gone off wine and chocolate cake, which can be explained by the fact that I'm trying to be healthier anyway, but also because I so desperately want to be pregnant I'm imagining that I don't fancy them because I didn't when pregnant with dd. I feel a little nauseous but again, I imagined that last month so probably imagining it again! Roll on Friday when I can put an end to this madness one way or another!

Loki17 · 02/11/2015 13:12

No idea as I don't use the cbfm I wonder if it was the device rather than your body? As long as you have dtd then you are covered though. Hope you get your bfp!
