We've been fannying around ttc#2 for a while now, and I'm starting to feel deflated Sad

What do you think? Have you tried it? Doing it? Can we even do that much shagging? Blush

Failing that, can you kick me up the arse to cheer me up? Grin

Woop woop finally got a positive OPK this morning so onwards with the plan! How's it going with everyone else? I hate the TWW. I've promised myself this time around I won't symptom spot (might have been a little bit obsessive focussed first time around). It took us a little while with DS so I'm hoping to be realistic this time around.

Thanks allthedinosaurs, fx this month is our month! I actually felt better on CD1 after all the uncertainty.

We were originally going to follow SMEP this cycle but not feeling entirely confident about that so just BDing as much as possible. Not sure how that will work out, might get tiring!

Hi again, queen, fx for this month. I'm on CD2 - viewing it as a shiny new month and looking forward to trying again Smile
Last month I assume I o'd later so I am going to do EOD for as long as possible AFTER fertile time too. Just in case Wink

Nevlet, that's great news about your bloods. Hopefully everything is fine and it was just one of those stress induced elongated periods? Hopefully after that fantastic OPK, you'll get some fantastic news Grin

Guess I think the plan says that if you don't get a positive, you just carry on EOD. That way you're still covered but you won't tire yourself out before the ovulation time.

I am ttc #2. DS1 was a surprise Blush I am SO glad he's here, although considering the trouble this time, I am not sure how he is!!

I haven't had any tests yet. I'm assuming I'll get bloods next week and hopefully referred for scan too, although I am thinking of getting a private one anyway (don't want to wait)

I'm on CD 11 and I've been OPK'ing for the last few cycles in prep to TTC. I've always had a positive OPK on 11 or 12 but now we're actually trying I haven't had a sniff of a positive. Why do bodies decide to do stupid things?! What would you guys be doing - should I carry on DTD everyday in case my OPKs are wrong? Have DTD cycle day 9 and 10 so far. All I did read back but I can't remember if you are trying for your first? Have you had any tests done so far? Glad you have an appointment with a good doctor - hope they're able to address things for you.

Hello again smeppers, took a break after AF earlier this month but time to come back again :) CD11 today, can't believe how quickly it's going this time! Ov' don CD16 last time so starting with DTD EOD on CD10 rather than CD8 like the plan suggests. Hoping it works this time!

How is everyone doing?

Thats a good step dinosaurs... I had my follow up today all bloods normal so being referred for ultrasound and a specialist... Hoping all is fine and I at least have a period soon and hopefully bfp after that super positive OPK!

Hi Smeppers, can I join please? Cycle day 10 here and it's our first cycle TTC number 2. I'm not doing great on the OPK front as I had some darker on CD 8&9 but hardly a line at all today. So confusing! I think I might do every day until CD 13 and then drop to EOD for a bit as I think I usually O on day12/13. Will be better at the OPKs next month!! Sorry to hear about AF All - remember the horrible disappointment well from trying to conceive my first.

Clara my OPKs predicted I would o on a Thursday/Friday, and here I am AFing on a Sunday. My luteal phase is 14 days so wth is going on? I must have O'd on the weekend after I was supposed to.
I've lost a bit of faith in them now. Next time I think I will pee on them for a bit longer to catch any rogue second spikes (and I will make sure I religiously do the "one for luck" shag Blush)

That's the plan. Perhaps I'm thinking about this too much.

DH bought me piles of incredibly sugary and artificially coloured goodies today... so I need to scrape myself off the ceiling and hide them from DS Grin

Oh sorry to hear that dinosaurs, what a pain.. Hope the cake is going well and here's to a new smep round. That's good timing for your leave at least. Do know how hard it is as it took us 12 months+ ttc dc2. But now he's here and I forgot all about the bumps along the way!

Im like Loki not doing opks so trying to guess where things are a bit!

No, guys. AF decided to show herself in full ahem flow, so it's back to the plan. Ovia has projected my next fertile window to be our week of anniversary annual leave, so that's a relief Grin

DH is devastated and we've had a bit of a fall out. We will make a doc appointment and keep on smepping I suppose!

But my plan for the rest of the day is CakeCakeCake!

Oh loki early pregnancy is hard but it goes by so quickly. Hope your symptoms are kind to you and stay kind to yourself (even if it's taking sick days - wish I'd done that the first time round Wink)

Still routing for all of you. All - women do spot during a missed period when pregnant. I'll keep everything crossed for you! I'm struggling with the tiredness and nausea but keep reminding myself how lucky I am. I've got a crazy busy week at work so think I'll feel better once the stress is all over.

Ooh snowboarding. That sounds great, have fun! I broke my arm skating but then I have terrible balance. I am being treated to a chocolate based lunch by DH. And by "treated", I think he is coming to the shop with me while I buy reeses cups Grin

If I ov'd that late, I definitely wont be pregnant... we were a bit lazy after SMEP marathon Blush

My face feels enormous. I don't want to take ibuprofen or sudafed just in case, so just topped up on vit c and zinc. And cake. Lots of cake.

I am really afraid nevlet! It sounds stupid but I really work myself up over this bit Confused I might wait until I'm 5 days late as that's the latest I've ever been.
