(...or poke me in the right direction of an existing one?)

We've been fannying around ttc#2 for a while now, and I'm starting to feel deflated Sad

What do you think? Have you tried it? Doing it? Can we even do that much shagging? Blush

Failing that, can you kick me up the arse to cheer me up? Grin

Sounds delicious! I am semi trapped in my living room as plasterers are in the rest of the house...Bored!!

ALLthedinosaurs · 28/10/2015 13:08

I hope its from the beginning nevlet

Also - I've run out of cough mixture at crucial time so in my desperation I had to fill the old bottles with water to get the dregs out. Lovely cough mixture flavoured water... boak. Proof that TTC drives me insane Confused

Thanks Robbins - no I don't think so. I feel no different to normal - mind you that includes not feeling any usual AF symptoms either. BFN today though!
Dinosaurs I think it's from the beginning...I may be wrong though!

ALLthedinosaurs · 28/10/2015 13:01

Oh this is exciting! Testing time is coming around. Fx for some lovely BFPs! I will be doing the TWW soon. What do you ladies to to take your mind off of it? I hate it!

I have a question. You know that you ovulate 12-36 hours after your surge? Well is that from when you begin surging or when you finish? Mine lasted 2.5 days last month Confused

I'm due to test on the same day Robbins and ill be having a glass of wine on Saturday or it will arouse suspicion! I'll be 8 dpo so just having one. I've cut back massively on alcohol anyway so I'm motivated to keep it up!

Robbins81 · 28/10/2015 12:38

Thanks ladies, you've confirmed my thoughts :)

Nevlet nearly there! hope you get your bfp, any symptoms?

Nevlet · 28/10/2015 12:23

CD 44 here! Last cycle was 46 and via says AF due in 2 days so hoping that this cycle is almost over!

Robbins I think wine will be fine - I haven't really cut back yet as find TTC stressful enough as it is!

ALLthedinosaurs · 28/10/2015 11:00

A couple of glasses of wine will do you no harm Robbins. It will relax you, which is good!

When I became pregnant with Surprise DS (before I knew), I drank wine by the bottle Blush on holiday, and he's perfect. I asked the doctor about it and he said loads of people drink before they get BFP, its only if you properly binge that it's bad.

Morning !!! sorry ive not been around much, slightly busy with the half term. Thought I would check in while they write their Christmas lists Shock

Im now on cd25, we finished off our 1st attempt at smep last night so will just have to wait and see if we have got lucky now Smile

Good luck dinosaurs, wishing you lots of energy !

pardon, I have 3 boys so this will be my 4th baby Smile

Its grim here today too, really don't want to go anywhere but I have to go food shoppingSad

So I have a question.....I have a Halloween party on Saturday, do you think a couple of glasses of wine would do any harm ? If AF arrives its due on the 6th Nov. I'm thinking that if I do get pregnant this month the baby feeds of it yolk first so a couple of wines wouldn't make any difference or do you think I should stay way clear ?

LondonGirl83 · 28/10/2015 09:50

queen you might be pregnant! OPKs are know to turn positive due to pregnancy even before HCG is high enough for a pregnancy test. Fingers crossed for a bfp in a few days

ALLthedinosaurs · 28/10/2015 09:19

Biking in the rain sounds grim to me! Day of sofa and TV sound like heaven and you know you should be as relaxed as possible during this time Wink

Yesterday was a false starter for me. Oops. I got my strong positive OPK this morning, so I know what I'm up to the rest of the week Blush have three days off now so perfect timing.

Where about are we all now, Smeppers? I'm CD12

Good luck dinosaurs! We are on half term from school and DP has just gone off mountain biking at the Olympic track...rather him than me in this pouring rain! Day of sofa and TV for me!!

ALLthedinosaurs · 27/10/2015 21:44

This will be my second. My DS is a surprise baby. I literally don't understand how he got there Shock

Right this morning I think I got a pos OPK. Very dark test line but not as wide as control line? Line faded throughout day so wondering if that was my surge Confused Anyway, going to stop worrying about it now and dtd for as long as we possibly can.

Yep this will be our first :) thought we could wait until we were married but been together almost ten years and can't wait any longer! Exciting times.

Loki17 · 27/10/2015 06:24

My dd is 4 and has just started school, which is probably why I've become super broody! DH is 'dear husband' in mumsnet lingo. He has wanted another baby for the last year or so. I thought I was happy with one. Then the broodiness kicked in and now I'm desperate! It was the same with dd. We got married and out of nowhere this desperate need for a baby hit me. Must be my hormones!

Pardonmyfrench85 · 27/10/2015 00:03

Sorry I left out robins ... U'll be due your wee one day break soon, happy days!!

Pardonmyfrench85 · 27/10/2015 00:00

Wow nevlet u really have bn busy. Hopefully this is your month Smile. And everyone else's.

How old is your baby Loki? Ur dh (what does that actually stand for?) sounds lovely!! Mine is just so chilled about the whole thing I wish I could be as relaxed as him. Lol

All the dinosaurs ... DEFFO go another time u just never know.

Queen of the world ... Keep up that enthusiasm.

Apart from Loki is this everyone's first??

ALLthedinosaurs · 26/10/2015 23:05

We're on month 16 but first time following a "plan" as such. Its quite nice actually having the planning taken out of my hands. OPK looking like it might turn positive soon. Might go and do another 4th today

Fx for everyone getting tired of BDing! It's only our first cycle so it's still a novelty to us haha.

Nevlet · 26/10/2015 19:34

Loki I empathise with you there...The disappoint my OH feels makes it harder!

Loki17 · 26/10/2015 19:26

If we don't fall this month it will not be for lack of trying! I'm taking the night off tonight. Poor dh. Both times we have ttc he has been so lovely. It is taking longer this time around but he is really sweet even though I know he feels the pressure and is even more desperate for number 2 than I am.

Nevlet · 26/10/2015 19:18

Think DP and I are just short on energy at the moment...we have been renovating our house for about 18 months (as in full on more than half the walls moved every ceiling down and all old plaster off extension built hell) and we are in the final month with plasterers in this Wednesday to do nearly whole house....It is consuming all our energy! Picked the dog up from MIL tonight to hear he tried to jump her puppy gate (and puppy and lab and two dog beds) and ended up hanging from the back leg out of it....Glass of wine it is tonight!!!! Fx to everyone for this month!

ALLthedinosaurs · 26/10/2015 18:40

Loki fx that sperm and egg have already met. If you o'd on CD15 surely you don't need to dtd tonight? Be kind to yourself too!
