Hi Thanks for taking the time to look. Would this suggest I ovulated? My opks say no as they only went about a third as dark as the control line. I definitely didn't miss it with the opks as I checked each time I went for a wee on the important dates. This is my 1st month charting and am struggling a little.

Snow dog I would say it looks really positive. Day 5 looks like possible implantation dip, and day 12 + 13 post OV are higher than other temps, which looks triphasic (Google triphasic bbt charts or pregnant bbt charts). Having said that the research I read conducted by FF showed that both those signs can happen in pregnant and non pregnant charts! Frustrating I know. What tests are you using? How sensitive are they? X

Any charting experts make sense of my chart? I'm getting bfns but my temps are still high. Af is due tomorrow. With the dip today does it look like I'm out? It's my first time charting and using OPKs so I don't really know what's what. Thanks for any advice!

Aw I'm sorry to hear about the two miscarriages. In my experience there are "rules" and guidelines in medical care, and the gps tend not to deviate much from these. (It happens to midwives too, so sometimes we can't do things, even if emotionally we want to ie book people reassurance scans if there is no clinical indication) They tend to be set out on a much higher level ie nice guidelines are government level and based on research but also on cost effectiveness. Ie statistically most people will get pregnant within a year, therefore they are told not to "waste money" testing until after a year. I know this is completely unhelpful and upsetting for the person going through it!! The best thing you can do is go armed with research and guidelines... So if and when you do get pregnant again check the national guidlines for recurrant miscarriage, progesterone etc and I would ask for a 2nd opinion. It's one thing the Dr following guidlines but they should be caring on an individual basis and taking particular scenarios into account. Hopefully this is your sticky BFP and you won't need to worry about any of that in the future!! Hugs xxx

Looking forward to seeing a pic of your test tomorrow morning bright and early then.

I've had 2mc, one early Dec and one Aug bank holiday weekend. It's crap and the dr's are shit and will do nothing to help.

As we are so long into the process (28 months so far) we are having infertility appointments but the dr is an arsehole and won't do anything to help, haven't been since I've had a pregnancy but have already been told they will not give me any progesterone to help me along under any circumstances because it is too expensive and also not proven (even though you read in mn of people being prescribed it every day). We have another appointment on Jan 18th I think. I'm expecting nothing from it as he is such an arse and has done nothing other than a Hycosy to help. And a Hycosy doesn't even help, it just says the tubes are clear. I'm almost wishing to get pregnant again so mc can hurry up so they will, do some investigations as they won't check anything until you've had 3. It's such a shit position to be in, dp said last night that even if we are pregnant again he won't be wanting to talk about it and certainly won't be getting excited until after 12 weeks because he is expecting another mc. It's so crap.

The only positive is that if it is a positive then hopefully 3rd time lucky may apply or if it does end badly then hopefully it will be early on and we can get some medical help.

Eak, vapo looks like we are in the same boat. I'm 12dpo today if FF is right. The case is a hpt, it's a definite line in RL, fainter on the photo. But I'm trying not to focus on it too much cos it came up out of the time frame. But it is a 20iu so not that sensitive. I did one in day time yesterday that was definitely negative but should have waited for FMU really. Il get a FRER today but I'm going to wait til FMU tomorrow. Haven't told DH about this mornings test cos I don't wanna tell him til I'm sure. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Iv got pcos bloods booked in for next week due to really irregular cycles, hoping I don't need them! its so crazy isn't it, when I saw the negative test I was really disappointed, but when I saw the maybe positive one my first thought was "oh crap are we ready for this!!" Haha.

Sorry that you have had sad experienced in the past and that eliminates your excitement when you get a bfp. How many miscarriages have you had if you don't mind me asking. Have you have any investigations? I will always be cautious if/when I get a bfp.. As a midwife I know how often things go wrong, it is just such a complicated process! But I also know it work right enough of the time to keep me very very busy and in a job keeping my fingers crossed for you. Thank you for your support! I haven't told anyone in RL that we are trying! X

You're joking, I love looking at other peoples pee sticks and charts. Not wanting to get your hopes up but the positive opk's could be because you are pregnant. Is the plastic cased picture a hpt or opk? If it's a hpt like I think it is then I think tentative congratulations are in order. Again, not wanting to get your hopes up but do have everything crossed for you. Your temps are certainly up for the 2nd half of your cycle and if ff is correct and you did ovulate on cd14 then these are all good signs. Go and get yourself a frer. If that cheapie showed such a line visible on a photo then I would say that a frer will show up much clearer. My frer's don't show anything I can photograph which is making me think maybe it's nothing, or maybe it's just left over from last time. I was sure I had a negative test starts rife lint through sock drawer in the hope I kept the old tests
Only other symptoms here apart from mad dreams is bloating it that probably has more todo with massive amounts of food consumed the last few days - she says an hour before going out for yet another roast lunch
Well, it's no booze for me until I know for sure. I've decided if my new frer's don't arrive before nye which is set to be a booze filled night ill go and buy some in boots to do another check, that will be 3w 5d and should definitely show a proper positive by then. If not I'll be drinking. It's kind of exciting but also not exciting because I can't shake the feeling of "how long will this one last"
Oh yes I did use my last frer this morning. Fmu did look more dilute than yesterday's and did show a fainter line that yesterday's. I can see it in bright sunlight and it definitely has some colour to it but just isn't as strong as yesterday's. It's just wait and see time. Argh! I suppose it's good not drinking for a few days, we have drank so much for the last few weeks.

Let me know if you get a frer. Excited to hear for news. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Hi vapo. I really hope the line is a new pregnancy for you! Did you dip the 2nd FRER?? Have you got any symptoms?

My opks are still positive. That's 4 days now. Temps still up. If I take the opks off my chart FF thinks I OVd day 14. I would be surprised if I did OV day 14, last two cycles I OVd day 88 and day 32. Maybe the soy isoflavones really do work!! But I didn't have any signs of OV, no positive opk, didn't have ewcm on that day (but have had it pretty much every other day!!) and no sore nipples that I normally get after OV! But all temps still up. So strange!!

Did my last IC yesterday just in case, because I felt really sick on Xmas day when I had to transfer someone in an ambulance (not surprising tho, the roads are windy and they drive fast, and they are like tin cans on wheels) thought I could see the worlds faintest line. So got a superdrug cheapy to do this morning, nothing on it so went back to bed. Just looked again 3 hours later and there is a faint line. BUT it's out of the time frame. And also the line is exactly where the little plastic cover was touching the test paper so I wonder if the dye just accumulated there. No tests in the house. Might get a FRER for tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath for a bfp. No symptoms of pregnancy, boobs feel normal, just the motion sickness the other day and felt a bit queasy yesterday evening but think that's cos I'm over thinking things! Getting OV/period type pains so I know it's more likely to be OV. Messes with your head doesn't it!! I would be shocked if pregnant not only as I didn't know Id ov'd but we didn't dtd until the night after OV, so I would have thought we had missed it!

Will have to wait and see!

rose how did your hycosy go? Hope they didn't find anything bad and just gave you a good flush through. Have our drugs arrived yet?

We have over indulged massively, so much food. We are defo going on a healthy eating mission in January. News here, I think I had a sniff of a bfp yesterday. Used a FRER and If it is there I will have only been 3w0d which would account for the very very faint (I hope it is there) line. It is super early and I'm kind of hoping it isn't just hcg still lingering from last time??? I have done one each day for the last 4 days, basically to decided if I'll be drinking on that day or not. So of course yesterday I didn't have a drink "just in case". I'm no where near as excited about the prospect of being pregnant again, all I can think is "well if I am pregnant, I wonder how long this one will last". So sad that the joy has gone from this process, although in a way I suppose it is good as it will be easier to deal with when it all does go wrong (if you can ever prepare for that).
So, I have 1 more frer left. And a pot of fmu in the bathroom ready to be dipped if I decide to dip it. But, it's my last FRER. I've just ordered 4 more but they don't have a delivery date until 2nd jan (last time it said an equally long time but arrived the next day). Should I dip today or wait until tomorrow? I have been having mad dreams again, that was a massive sign for me the last 2 times, also I was never off the loo last week, not this week though, don't know if the 2 are related? Also have had (ahem) loose bowels, another sign from last time. AF not due until

Vapo. Sorry your temps are messing you around too. I don't really believe the predictions for af on my apps (although my cycles are crazy so propably if you have regular cycles they are a bit more accurate) I would keep checking temp and hold out for a late OV. Hopefully you get a proper plan for GP. I don't feel Christmassy either (got to work it, and on call all night so by the time I get a day off it will all be over), fingers crossed next year we are on may leave!!

My temps and opks are still baffling me. Temps dropped below cover line, OV had EWCM for a week, opks all have fairly strong 2nd line but all still definitely neg. Wonder if my body tried to OV but didn't manage, hence temp rise and fall. I don't have sore nipples which is my sure sign OV ovd so will just keep temping.

Good luck with your hycozy today rose. Shame about the drugs not arriving, I suppose it's this time of year that's slowing things down. If they are promising a next day delivery does that mean you'll get 2 lots of drugs? Surely if the post is late then they have already sent it? Do you need to keep everything in the fridge? When were you hoping to start taking the meds? Will you start them as soon as they arrive or do you need to be at a certain time in your cycle? Sorry for all the questions.

My chart is looking rubbish still. Ff says af is due 30th dec so not expecting to ovulate now, it's too late. Just wish it would hurry up so we can get on with next month where we will hopefully ovulate. I wonder if my body tried to ovulate which is why I had some ewcm? Hopefully that means we may manage it next month? Either way we will be at the Drs in the 2ww. Thinking of asking him if it would affect my NHS treatment if I had some progesterone prescribed privately. I suppose it's wait and see time for what he offers 1st. I hope I get offered clomid. We have a works trip away to Miami in March, sounds glamorous but in reality it is a day travelling there, no sleep, a day in a meeting room (generally with no windows) dinner out then another few hours in a meeting room then some free time, dinner out, 4 hours sleep then a day travelling to get home. I'm not looking forward to it, can you imagine if we get caught again and I miscarry whilst I'm over there? It would be awful. I suppose I shouldn't look at worst case scenarios. I'm really hoping for some clomid at this appointment. Or to be put on the IVF list, or both. I forgot to mention. When we arrived home from London I had a letter from the fertility Dr saying they won't prescribe progesterone as 1. It is too expensive and 2. It is not proven to work. Brilliant! We were just sight seeing in London and works Xmas do. It was really nice. Don't feel too Christmassy though. I did last night after I'd recorded my out of office vm and sang to Christmas songs home in the car [santa]
This Christmas is going to be over all too soon! Hopefully this time next year we will all be off on maternity leave and will have more time to plan...

Sunny I would say that your chart looks like you have ov'ed but obviously it will depend on your next fews days of temps to be sure.

Vap I would discard that drunken, hot room temp taken at an irregular time if I were you. I don't think you have ov'ed yet but there is still time! It might be worth a trip to the doctor before Christmas just in case you do have an infection. Glad to hear you had a fab long weekend away! It's so important that we all try and let our hair down and enjoy ourselves even when we are not feeling like it.

I have my HyCoSy on Weds then start my drugs mid-Jan sometime. Problem is Czech post has let me down and haven't managed to get my parcel out of the country yet Luckily the pharmacy in Czech has been fab and promised a next day delivery at the beginning of Jan if it hasn't arrived by then. Could have done without the worry though!

Morning
If your opks are getting fainter you have probably already ovulated. When was your strongest one? How many times did you test on that day?
I did another today and such a faint line. And temp is pretty level with the rest of the month. Pretty convinced ovulation isn't happening this month. Disappointed as we have dtd loads!
I've been having loads of bloating, abdominal pains and also not been off the loo for days. I think I have some kind of water infection. Kind of just want af to arrive so I can start tracking with cb again. I'm pleased I didn't waste my cb ones this month. Did another frer yesterday and it still had a tiny tiny faint line only visible in very bright light. I guess I'm still a little bit pregnant. Argh!
We had a brilliant time away thanks! Exhausting but amazing fun. I can hear the next door neighbours 4 year old getting all excited about only being 3 more days until Santa comes. I'm so incredibly jealous of everyone with kids. So much so, I'm stealing my niece and taking her to see Father Christmas tomorrow. You never know, I may never get the chance to do it with one of my own.

Hi vapo. Maybe you are about OV? Have you had a nice weekend away?

Pols still neg, getting lighter. FF has changed my OV date to 3 days ago, temps all still high (loads higher than any temps last month) had a bit of a cold coming this morning when I woke up but feel better now, so wonder if that's reason for high temps. Getting lots of pelvic pains/twinges so think I might be getting closer to OV. Let me know how your chart looks tomorrow x

My temp dropped massively this morning although the hotel room was cold and I hadn't had a skinful of booze the night before which I'm sure affected yesterday's temp. I'm interested to see what happens with it tomorrow.

sunny it's all very confusing? I have no idea what is going on but those sticks are certainly getting darker. You may be having a weird cycle where you ovulate twice? I think the only way to know for sure is to get a day 21 blood test from your Dr next month. Although that doesn't give certain results as they say anything under 30 is classed as not ovulating and I had 27.1 and got pregnant. It's all such a minefield.
Banging head today! Work Xmas do last night was great! Took my temp today and it's up, but, this hotel room is boiling and you can't open the windows so that's probably changing the outcome. Chart attached.

Sorry vapo, didn't realise you had had a scan. Hope the sticks turn negative soon for you so you can get onto new cycle. Bodies can do odd things, I know of people who have conceived days after a miscarriage, so must have OVd almost immediately. And others it takes a while for cycle to come back. Fingers crossed it's soon for you. Have a lovely weekend!!

I need opk help!! I always get a faint line on my opks, and the strength of the line does fluctuate a bit... so it makes it hard to tell if it's getting darker. As prev post says, FF thinks I OVd 4 days ago based on my temps but I don't think I have. (And nipples not sore and they normally hurt as soon as Iv OVd). Opk darker (I think) today but not positive yet. But no OV pains today (had them the last couple of days and now all gone. Only a little bit of EWCM left. WTF! Thought you got surge before OV. All my signs are conflicting each other!
