Vicki443 · 28/01/2021 12:25

Not sure you can see it on the photo.

Hi all. I’m trying to get pregnant with my second child. I’ve taken lots of tests which have all been negative but I happened to glance at a pregnancy test I’d taken 24hours prior and there is the faintest line. What do you guys make of this?

I took these test over the last few days I'm late on my period but the lines didn't come up straight away some obviously fainter than others but one took 2-3 minutes the rest around 4-6 I'm so confused 🤷‍♀️

I took a test and after 10 minutes there was a fait positive blue line. I took two more the next morning and they were negative, nothing. What could this mean?

Macbookbaby · 28/09/2020 16:28

What do you guys make of this because to me it looks blue??

So I took a test and I am guessing if I am pregnant I would only be around maybe 2 weeks barely depending on when implantation took place. I am so confused because my test was a blue dye test. It have a thin darker blue line with some light blue shading making it look like it it trying to be the same size of the test line. This formed a plus for positive. But I am really confused if the test was to cheap. Has anyone experienced this? The line is very clearly blue not grey or off white. I am going to re test but am nervous and want to wait a bit to make sure before I test again.

Londonmum66 · 06/05/2020 21:32

Actually how do I attach a photo?

Londonmum66 · 06/05/2020 21:30

Hi ladies, I would appreciate any response to this. Did a tesco test this morning on first morning urine. Is it positive? I'm on cycle day 25 so testing early. I thought it came up with a blue faint like immediately in the given time so I ran down town and got a clearblue digital and it said not pregnant. What do you think? Thanks in advance for any help

FebruaryJuly · 07/04/2020 09:35

@Ellabella234 did yours turn out to be positive? The same has happened to me this morning and I don't know whether to trust it or not.

Ellaharris71 · 04/03/2020 08:48

Hi need some advice
I come off the depo injection on the 5th of feb and have been using condoms since. My boobs are very heavy so I decided to do a pregnancy test I have done 6 in total and 3 over night become positive. Photo below. The line is blue so I am confused if this is a positive line or evaporation line. I went to the doctors yesterday and then did 3 more pregnancy tests which were all negative and said I was not pregnant.

Does anyone have an advice on this?

I keep hearing about evap lines and I’m like confused where all these people get this information not I’m over here doubting if I am or not

Caitlin95 · 20/01/2020 14:16

This is false info I took 2 urine pregnancy tests yesterday both came up BLUE PLUS signs not grey went had blood drawn came back negative th e n got my period all the s same day so you just posted some false misleading info and i think you should take this down

Ellabella234 · 04/01/2020 09:57

Any advice on these please? So much out there to say they're not invalidated when you open them but loads of people also comment stating it is. I'll add these were pinky before I opened them up which was why I did it! Then they got darker.

What was the result Rachael I’ve had the same

Natknill93 · 15/12/2019 23:19

So it doesn’t make it invalid if you check couple hours later ?

Christina135 · 06/12/2019 21:41

Just wanted to update: I’m deffo not pregnant - it was a dodgy Clearblue test! My new motto: SteerClearblue 😬

Christina135 · 30/11/2019 10:59

Hi, have you retested? What brand did you use and how many dpo are you?

I have read a LOT about early test results and evap lines etc, but one thing which is always failed to be mentioned is the fact that women who aren’t pregnant DO still have HCG in their urine. It’s just a very small amount; between 0-5mIU/mL. So I personally think that it’s possible that when we sometimes see a very faint line hours later, it’s because all the urine has evaporated and the minute amount of HCG present, can cause some discolouration in the test area. But essentially, time will tell!

I have a 10-week-old baby who I’m exclusively breastfeeding, and I’m also on the pill because we are certain we don’t want anymore. We have had sex twice...once about 3 weeks ago and then again a week later. And I think I’m pregnant because I took a Clearblue test and hours later, there was a faint positive on it. So I am really kind of hoping that evap lines aren’t a myth! Or that my (low levels of) HCG has been detected.

MadOwlEye7 · 26/11/2019 13:08

I don’t know if anyone looks at this thread anymore but I’m not sure if what I’ve got is an evaporation line or just a faint positive that took a few hours to turn up. It’s blue, not grey.
