Have a great holiday Sammy!

Great news on your hcg levels Banana, sure they'll be up again tomorrow.

Good luck for tomorrow Lucie. Will you be staying over? Not sure how uncomfortable it is, is there any recovery time needed? Anyway, delighted you'll be all shiny and ready for ivf in a few short weeks!

Good luck for Wednesday Trixie, FINALLY your appointment has arrived! Let us know how it goes, really hope you can get going before April.

Boris, when are you off to Czech?

Hope everyone's weekend is going well Smile

MPP81 · 07/02/2016 09:49

Have a fab holiday Sammy! Hope you come back feeling lovely and relaxed! :)

Brilliant news about the HCG Banana. I'm sure it will have shot up again on Monday :) I'm looking forward to trying the preseed. We tried concieve plus too and it was not an enjoyable experience!

Good luck with the hysteroscopy Lucie! Loving the shiny new uterus comment!

Good luck with your appointment on Wednesday Trixie! April isn't far away now, so hopefully not long for you to wait.

Hope you're doing OK Boris!

Still waiting for AF here, so no news, though headaches from hell suggest she isn't far away now.

Hi girls, just to let you know I'm off on holiday for a week so probably won't be around much.

Banana - I haven't booked any acupuncture. Might give them a call and see if they think it's worth it when I get back.

Hope you're all okay, Xx

bananafish81 · 06/02/2016 19:26

lucie tonnes of luck for your hysto - hope it goes well and you come back beautifully polished and ready for a beautiful blast

sammy you're so close! Are you going to try acupuncture? We are all here for you cheering you on with pom poms

trixie that all sounds really sensible. My friend got her tx with Dr G sorted out really quickly, had it alongside her NHS cycle. Keeping everything crossed for you

star your slot is booked on track BFP calendar m'dear!

mpp hope everything is going OK with all the million and one things you have going on. Re the pre seed - we got on much better with that than Conceive Plus, which got so sticky it was like trying to have a shag stuck together with PVA glue Blush

Boris hope you're doing OK

Have lovely weekends one and all xx

Trixietwenty16 · 06/02/2016 18:51

Have my appointment on Wednesday morning Lucie! I hope your hysteroscopy goes ok and there is nothing to remove.
I had my TH1:TH2 bloods done on Wednesday so waiting on those (takes up to 2 weeks)

I think we're hoping we can start in April (would be around the 6th looking ahead) would give us time to get immune treatment sorted hopefully.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend Smile

lucieloos · 05/02/2016 22:29

Yes about the same Sammy, I'm expecting af around the 28th and will go in for baseline to check I'm ok to start. Let's hope it's a lucky cycle for us both.

loopylou1984 · 05/02/2016 22:24

Banana - so glad it was good news :).

Lucie - I'll be starting around 28th Feb, how about you? Xx

BorisIsBack · 05/02/2016 22:06

Banana, such fantastic news. :)

Lucie love the fact you'll have a perfect uterus!

lucieloos · 05/02/2016 15:03

Aww banana, that is lovely news so pleased for you. It must be very exciting!

Trixie, when is your NHS appt? Can't be much longer?

Who is kicking off next? Is it me and Sammy?

I'm off to Czech for my hysteroscopy on Monday. Feeling a little nervous. I hope they don't find anything but if they do I've paid extra to have them deal with it there and then so hoping to come away with a shiny, new uterus all ready for transfers! Another thing ticked off the list. Will keep you posted.

sammy love Cyclogest predators!!! Grin

Keeping everything crossed that the oestrogen does the trick. My lining went from 5.5mm on Mon at EC to 8.5mm at my lining scan on the Fri, so for me the Progynova and Cyclogest really did work miracles. I'm still taking 2mg of Progynova three times a day and all being well I will take it up until 12 weeks - so hoping it does the trick to give you a beautifully cushiony lining

Hope the rest of you ladies are doing OK.

Second beta was yesterday: hCG hasn't quite doubled but it's gone up 70%, which Dr says is fine - apparently as long as it doubles within 48-72h it's on track. Wants to do another on Mon just to be sure. Feel a little bit queasy and never been so delighted to feel a bit 'off' in my life!!

loopylou1984 · 03/02/2016 20:14

Lol - just re read my post! Cyclogest predators!!!!! About right really Wink pessaries for anyone who may stumble upon this thread.

I hope it does the trick, I'd love to get to 7.5mm at least. Although again the nurse said today that they would be very happy with 6.9 again, and that all the up to date research talks about 6.5 being the minimum. Xx

Trixietwenty16 · 03/02/2016 20:12

Glad it went well Sammy. Good that you can pause the NHS clock, I couldn't have my NHS scan until we'd finished our private treatment. Hopefully you don't need it though!

lucieloos · 03/02/2016 19:38

That all sounds good Sammy, I think your lining should thicken up nicely with the patches and progynova. I think we should both be having our baseline scans around the same time! Glad all is ok with your NHS round as well. All systems go! Roll on the end of the month.

It's really something when the nurses walk in the waiting room and can say hello to you by name even though you're not on their patient list!

Appointment was fine, am provisionally booked in for baseline on 29th depending on when af arrives. I'm having estrogen patches as well as the progynova and cyclogest predators this time too. I have also asked for a prescription for some kind of anti sickness pills in case I have the same reaction again which they are looking in to.

It turns out that they have a time limit from when they start the ball rolling for NHS treatment to actually starting it and my proposed dates are going to mean I won't have reached test date before the cut off. Thankfully a more experienced NHS lady came in and said they can pause the clock as I am already planning a cycle privately. Phew! Xx

loopylou1984 · 03/02/2016 15:21

Thanks everyone, I'm in the waiting room now. Appointments at 3.30. Xx

lucieloos · 03/02/2016 14:46

Hope the appt went well Sammy and they've come up with some new things to try.

Trixietwenty16 · 03/02/2016 14:17

Hopefully you feel better after your appointment Sammy, I know it is hard at times but try and stay positive.

MPP81 · 03/02/2016 11:33

Hi all!

Sorry I've been a bit absent. Had assignments due in for uni and a couple of wedding things that needed organising.

Banana that's amazing news! I am so so pleased for you! Grin Fx for higher levels on Thursday!

Boris, I cannot BELIEVE Asda said those things to you! Bloody hell! Good for you for going back there and getting it sorted. I'm very glad you got everything you needed.

Good luck for today, Sammy. I'm sorry to hear youve not been feeling great. Flowers

No news from me at all really. Due AF in 3-5 days, though very conscious of last months longer than usual cycle so will have to bear that in mind and not get excited if it's more. We've bought some preseed to use next month and I think I'll go back to temping and opk's too because I'm not as thrilled with giving it all up as I hoped I'd be. I think I'd rather have a better idea of what's going on.

star1980 · 03/02/2016 10:49

good luck today Sammy. I understand the numb feeling - I'm kind of in that situation now with trying naturally, it feels totally futile. But with IVF it's different. I read that you should think of IVF as a course of three cycles, so just because it didn't work last time doesn't mean it won't work this time, especially if you can do something to build up your lining a bit.
Got my fingers crossed for you Flowers

Aiming for a BFP a month for this thread (which will make it my turn in May/June when I start IVF Smile)

bananafish81 · 03/02/2016 10:16

Good luck sammy we have everything crossed for you Flowers

xxx

lucieloos · 03/02/2016 06:49

Good luck Sammy let us know how you get on.

Banana, brilliant hcg level fingers crossed for good doubling.

I wish I was excited banana. I just feel numb to it to be honest. I don't think I believe it's going to work for us. Xx
