We have been so busy chatting I've started a new thread. Welcome all 10+ ladies. Hope we all have some luck on this thread.

I don't know Sammy, you got to just go with what you feel is right and do your own research. If you are happy with what they've said then go with it again. I have never known any doctors say that a 6.5mm lining doesn't matter but I'm no expert just trying to help x

Lucie - yeah that's what I thought after hearing from you and some others about the 8mm optimum. But I can't think of a reason why the clinic would lower it? They want their success rates to be as good as possible and having it higher would surely reduce that? Xx

Great that your meeting is soon Sammy, will be interesting to see what the Consultant says. How odd that your AMH went up...I thought it was something that slowly went down over time. Maybe it is different if you have it taken on different cycle days. Glad that the hormone fog is lifting, I am a big believer in making a plan. The NK blood test was £300.00 at my clinic, the biopsy was more, I guess because it is harder to take and it has to be sent to the USA. We decided to do both as apparently you can have high NK overall but not have high NK endometrial cells and vice versa. Will be interesting to see what my biopsy reveals.

Hi Sammy, I'm glad the hormone fog is lifting and it's good to see you looking to make a plan already. I don't buy that about the lining, I've done so much research this past year and I've never come across anything that says a 6.5mm lining has the same chance of success as those 8mm+. I would be asking for whatever they've got to thicken it up a bit more next time even if they think it's ok. I really think that's what the problem has been for you naturally and it's really positive if something is identified as you then have an idea of what to do rather than be unexplained. Amh levels can vary from one test to another. I don't think it's an exact science but it just gives them an idea about how you will respond.

Yes I made the call, I actually got the answer phone and my favourite nurse called back. She seemed as disappointed as us. I still have to test on Wednesday in case I am one of those miracle people who continue to get periods through pregnancy! Then when I call in to say it was negative they will review our case at the meeting Wednesday afternoon.

She asked if there was anything I particularly wanted discussed and I said I was worried about my lining. She looked it up and turns out it was 6.9 on day of transfer so she said that was more than fine. I mentioned that lots of studies seem to say 8mm was optimal and she said that used to be their cut off and that they changed it following lots of studies that showed 6.5 was fine. Anyway, she's going to highlight it and see what the consultant says.

Interestingly I got a copy of our referral letter for nhs in the post and it has all our test results on it. My AMH with the private clinic was 19 and a few months later with the Nhs is 25.4???
Even more interestingly my lining thickness on cd15 at my nhs ultrasound was only 5.7mm so it obviously doesn't always reach 6.9.

Wow this is a long post, sorry girls. I'm still very sad, but the hormone fog is lifting and I just want to make a plan now.

Trixie - how much did the NK test cost of you don't mind me asking? Xx

I don't think prednisone alone is enough to suppress some immune issues. I would go for the whole hog. My clinic have told me intralipids won't do any harm even if they don't work. I've never heard of intralipids or pred being used whilst trying naturally. Hopefully you can get started with the NHS quite quickly and then you can save the private attempts incase that one doesn't work.

I just feel a bit wary of intralipids for some reason, I'm not sure why. My clinic definitely do them which is good. It feels like a relief in a way to maybe have a reason why it hasn't happened but I had prednisolone for both IVF cycles so surely if that was the problem the prednisolone would have done the trick. Maybe I would have a higher dose with my next cycle as well as intralipids. Will be interesting to see what my biopsy results are like.
Will have to then have another chat with DH about whether to have another FET before our NHS go - funds are running very low after having the tests though. And to be honest I think we would rather wait until the Spring anyway. I wonder if the clinic will do the intralipids/pred while we are trying naturally.

That's very interesting trixie! I really think intralipids might do the trick for you. I haven't been tested but I think mine will be raised because of the hidden infection. I would definitely push to use them on your next transfer. Although not sure they do them on the NHS so maybe ask your private clinic if they would be able to do it for you.

Have you made the call Sammy? Hope it was ok, it's a horrible call to have to make.
I suffer really badly from cold hands and feet, I got these slippers from Amazon that you put in the microwave to warm up and they are amazing! Lovely warm feet here now.

So I just had a call from my clinic as my blood test results are back. I had a clotting and antibodies one which were both ok but my NK test came back at 15% and apparently they like to see it under 10%...they want to wait and see what my biopsy results are (should take another week or two) and then we'll have to go to the clinic for a meeting. The Dr. mentioned intralipids and when I asked about conceiving naturally he said it was still possible.

Thanks Pikz. I've picked a great time of year to attempt this haven't I? Upping protein is a challenge for me, I really struggle. Am going to give it my best shot though, anything to help. How much cq10 do you take?

I'm dreading making the call to the clinic today :( Xx

Hey Sammy

Mainly upping my protein massively, cutting out sugar as much as I could (odd treat but very little else) and halving my carb portions and trying to have at least one meal a day carb free.

I changed breakfasts to yoghurt, raw oatbran and maybe a few raspberries with a black coffee for example

Massive salad with chicken for lunch

Fish/meat with just veg

Tons of water through the day.

I first realised how much the sugar and carbs affected me when I was ttc DS and I went on the dukan diet ( carb free) and obviously had medical help but I think going on the diet and losing weight (not tons 5/6lbs) and the low sugar carb definitely helped. Did the same after my surgeries this time and although it took a bit longer I think the diet and cq10 definitely helped

Sammy I also had thin lining... I had baby aspirin and beetroot juice.
Also I was recommended to keep my feet very warm especially around implantation, tww and early pregnancy.

Hospital appt is this Thursday trixie so that will be interesting to see what they have to say. Hopefully I can then order my next lot of drugs for my Czech round once I know what I'm doing with the NHS. I have to start birth control mid December so at least that's a start.

Welcome Clare, I find when feeling hopeless it's best to formulate a plan so you have something to aim for.

Hey ladies, its 10 months for us also. Im 28 yrs old....

Today though on day 21 of a 28 day cycle, (tmi alert)- went for a wee, and had teeny tiny bright pink spots when i wiped...

Doubt it is anything, getting hopes up, gets me nowhere...

Blood testing on Friday to see if there are issues...

Sammy, I am gutted for you Flowers I know it feels hopeless but it will get easier I promise. You have been through a lot this year so maybe a wee break will help. Do whatever you can to make yourself feel better, favourite food and drink, a nice bath, favourite film x x
Will you be having a follow up at your clinic? Maybe there is something they can suggest for your lining. I had a quick google and found this;

Welcome Clare, I wish there was an easy answer. I usually find a good cry and a glass of wine help. I think having a plan helps and trying to focus on other things.

Lucie, how long until your hospital appointment?

I temped this morning (CD17) and seem to have ovulated so hopefully this won't be another long cycle.

I'm really sorry to hear that Sammy. I know how I felt after the first transfer and it was very hard. Felt like I was in a fog which I struggled to get out of but I did and realised it wasn't the end. I have found its good to take a few days and then come up with the next plan and something to focus on. You will get there, if it is a lining problem then it will be relatively easy to solve than if you weren't producing good eggs. 2016 is going to be the year for all of us x

Sadly not itsme, I've started bleeding. So coupled with the bfn I'm pretty sure that's it. I'm so very sad that we've lost an embie, and feel so very hopeless right now. I can't even hold out hope for a natural bfp due to my lining so I'm now waiting again until the new year. Xx

Welcome Clare, and sorry about all the pregnancies around you. That's really tough. I have some too and I'm really struggling to want to go to family /friend events now. I just want to stay home and keep away from them all.

Lucie - thank you for your kind words, and advice. I am not in a good place right now so am going to try to avoid here for a bit, although will come back to let you know when af arrives. Xx
