Good luck banana and good for you holding out to poas!! I did it 5dpt on my first transfer but have said definitely holding out until 7dpt next time!!

Starting to feel nervous now as its our final verdict on our embies tomorrow and to find out if they've survived and can be frozen. We have to call at midday. Dh is going to do it while I hide somewhere!

Thanks ladies! If this one doesn't stick then we will go straight into a frozen cycle to try and capitalise on my endometrium being primed

Here's hoping we don't have to defrost anything for a couple of years yet though!

I think I will give the pg tests to DH to hide. Believe it or not, I have never yet taken a pregnancy test. Seriously. There has never been a month I genuine ever thought I could have conceived, so I just waited for my temps to drop - as I hardly got AF anyway with so little lining to shed. I hasn't been trying that long before we rushed to IVF because when we got my AMH and FSH and it appeared I was hurtling towards POF, we felt we didn't have time to waste

(although the Dr and embryologists all believe the bloods are not telling the whole story - but three AMH readings and two FSH plus several AFC scans were certainly indicative of very severe DOR)

So the first time I POAS will be when there's £££££ riding on it!!!

I really want to hold out because the false hope of a chemical would be heartbreaking. Remind me of this when I'm climbing the walls and itching to POAS!!!

Congratulations Banana! Here's to a relaxing 2ww! Xx

Trixietwenty16 · 23/01/2016 17:33

Congratulations on being PUPO Banana and on having 4 frosties Smile I hope your 2ww goes nice and fast and am also crossing everything for a BFP!

MPP81 · 23/01/2016 17:13

That's totally fab Banana! Hope you're feeling OK, and have everything crossed for you! So exciting!!! :)

lucieloos · 23/01/2016 17:13

That's brilliant new banana...4 frosties!!! Congrats on being pupo and hope you manage to relax during the 2ww. Are you an early tester?

bananafish81 · 23/01/2016 17:05

Hi ladies, hope you're all having lovely weekends

ET today went really well, I have a 4AA blast on board, plus four blasts on ice!!

The frosties are: 2BB, 4AB, 3BB, 4BB

Two other embryos made it to blast, but they weren't good enough to freeze

My gob is well and truly smacked.

Never in a million years did I think that with an AMH of 1.5 I would ever get anything to blast - let alone anything for the freezer.

Dr said he was delighted with the embryos, the big unknown is my endometrium - so just have to hope that this little one clings on extra tight!

lucieloos · 23/01/2016 09:48

Good luck today banana!

That's brilliant news Banana, good luck for transfer tomorrow!

Good news about your waiting time MPP and hope the viewing went well.

Will definitely keep you posted when we get going Star. Fertile period here too but there is no way I'm going near DH!

loopylou1984 · 22/01/2016 17:29

Banana!!!!! Wow! That's amazing news, I dream of a similar response when it's my turn! Xx

MPP81 · 22/01/2016 16:49

That's fab Boris! It's understandable you're a bit wibbly, but soooooooo exciting! I'm glad it's all good for your DP to give a sample beforehand. I imagine when we go, we will be in the same boat because my DP is using up most of his hols for wedding prep and honeymoon so won't have many left after that. And yep, everything in one go here. The house has been on the market forever, so even though it would be a major inconvenience if it sold now, we feel we would be foolish to take it off the market/turn down an offer if we got one. :/

Banana that's fantastic news!!! I bet youre bouncing off the walls. Good luck for tomorrow. Got everything crossed for you! :)

bananafish81 · 22/01/2016 16:45

Consultant said he was delighted with the embryos' development thus far and just wanted to make sure we had the uterine environment as optimal as possible. So the oven is nicely pre warmed - he just wants it to stay that way. So I'm to keep taking the progynova alongside the progesterone

If it's BFN but we're lucky enough to get any frosties, we'll restart progynova as soon as AF is over and work on the lining for a FET

But first let's focus on tomorrow!!

lucieloos · 22/01/2016 16:24

That is brilliant news banana so pleased for you! Can't believe you will be pupo tomorrow eeekk very exciting!!

OP posts:
bananafish81 · 22/01/2016 16:08

Lining has thickened up beautifully and we are booked in for transfer tomorrow morning!! Went from 7.2mm the day before trigger, to 5.5mm on EC (when it had already started compacting) to a stonking 8.5mm today!!

Thank you progynova and progesterone!

lucieloos · 22/01/2016 15:16

Boris, yes they are very chilled out there and the clinic itself is lovely! So excited for you to get started. Have you decided where to stay?

OP posts:
BorisIsBack · 22/01/2016 15:07

mmp oh and yes the ladies here reassured me that DH can come out with me before egg collection, supply his stuff in a pot the go home before egg collection happens so Im back on tract to have ivf mid feb

BorisIsBack · 22/01/2016 15:04

mmp so you are ttc, planning a wedding and selling your house? Respect.

lucie thanks as always. DH and I are both used to having shed loads of data and information in our lives, we find it odd that something this significant is arranged in such a chilled out manner...

MPP81 · 22/01/2016 10:42

Haha! Lots of typos in my last post! Waiting for someone to arrive to view our house as it's up for sale and wanted to post before they get here in case it vanished so didn't go back and check! :)

MPP81 · 22/01/2016 10:38

Hi all!

Apologies for the absence! I did post earlier explaining, and said I was going for a read through but it doesn't appear to have posted! Cant believe how much news theres been. I wrote lots of notes as I read through so I knew who said what, but I'll try to stick to the most recent updates from everyone. Anyways, here goes...

Banana, congrats on all the embryos! That's totally fab! Thinking of you and hoping dildocam gives you the news you want to hear, but as others have said, if you can't transfer at least you have lots of embryos safe!

Boris, I saw that you said you might have to wait a little due to having to be home, but I'm not sure if I missed a post after that? Have you decided to go ahead and get DP to freeze a sample or wait? Either way, I hope it won't be too long for you!

Sammy, great that you ov'd but understand your disappointment at missing the few days dtd beforehand. Hoping you had a couple of super swimmers that were still lurking at the right time!

Star, I understand you being sad at the baby shower news. I hope you're OK. Thinking of you!

Itsme sorry to hear of blocked tubes. Hopefully it's not a long wait for the op. Flowers

Lucie, wow you've been through the mill! I'm very sorry you didn't get as many eggs as you hoped, but that's fab news about the day 3 results! Fingers firmly crossed for you, and I hope you enjoy nhs appointment goes well.

Trixie, I hope your DP is feeling better and I'm very glad you don't have to wait long for your new appointment. That must be a relief!

Thank you to everyone for your comments about my last post. We are indeed trying to see it as prep time for after the wedding, and that helps a lot! I am currently trying to lose a bit of weight (not massive, but a bit overweight) and we're both taking our supplements religiously. I phoned our nhs hospital yesterday to check our referral had been received and was told it had, and that the wait has become a bit shorter so we can expect to hear from them by the end of the summer, which would be perfect timing for after the wedding. So all in all, not feeling too bad here at the moment :)

lucieloos · 22/01/2016 10:37

Thanks Star and Boris. It is indeed a very nerve wracking process made worse if you only have a couple of embryos. I expect you will have a lot more and then it's not so bad although still a rollercoaster the first time.

Boris, yes with own egg at reprofit you can start anytime. So if you want to start next cycle just tell them that and then you email them again to let them know when af has arrived. All pretty straight forward really and you will be out there before you know it! Brno is a nice little town.

OP posts:
BorisIsBack · 22/01/2016 10:25

lucie wow such great news, praying thoes cells to develop well.

Another random question with reprofit do you just tell them you are coming? They seem really chilled out about when we choose to come and havent confirmed its ok to start next cycle. Both DH and I need to book time off work.
banana crossing everything for you. Good luck for dildo cam. X

star1980 · 22/01/2016 09:42

Amazing Lucie!! I have my fingers tightly crossed but feeling quietly optimistic for 2 blasts on Sunday! Crikey, I'm living through my first ivf through you and banana - it's nervewracking, can only imagine what it's like actually going through it but Im getting a good idea in preparation for June!

Banana, good luck for your scan today. I really hope you get to do a fresh transfer into nice comfy lining Smile

Trixie, so sorry your dp is so sick. Glad he's on the mend but it's a bummer you had to miss the appointment. So many things are sent to try us! I guess 10 Feb isn't too long to wait, but you must just want to get moving. Also, I'm keen for you to get going so I can get some insight into how things work at King's! My consultant definitely said it was just a month's wait and that was just 2 weeks ago so it can't have changed much in that time.

Any update Sammy? Are you waiting for your next period to move forwards? You must have a good idea of when that will be now after your temp rise?

No update from me. I've stopped temping but CM suggests I'm moving into my fertile period. It's hard not to track a little bit! No expectations though with our lazy sperm Smile

Hope everyone else all ok x

loopylou1984 · 22/01/2016 09:37

Woohoo Lucie, great news! Congratulations :)

Banana - wishing you so much luck today! What time is your scan? Xx

lucieloos · 22/01/2016 08:55

Thanks trixie and wishing you lots and lots of luck today banana. Will be checking for your update.

OP posts:
bananafish81 · 22/01/2016 08:47

Totally!! No day 4 update as they just leave them in there chilling out (and hopefully compacting nicely!) so I'm desperate to know what they're doing (although also not as I like being in my bubble of a good day 3 update!)

Although as today is D-day for my lining I have enough scary news on my plate so maybe it's just as well I don't have to watch the the phone like a bomb detonator today!

Another hot date with dildocam...
