Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Thanks mummy - yes it is really shitty - yes at least we've got each other!
mrs - yes it is awesome to have you all, lol, even when I was having a good cry I thought - I'll tell the girls - that's what I call you lot!
I bloody well hope so, we all need our BFPs!!

MrsFlowers82 · 19/11/2015 21:44

Any time Kitten. I have to say (and it's not just the wine talking, I've only had one glass I promise!) that this group has been my sanity. I am so appreciative of this space, it's awesome to have people who "get it". Virtual hugs and Cake to you all!

WE WILL GET OUR BFPs!!!

MummyBex1985 · 19/11/2015 21:18

Kitten Flowers

18 months is a bloody long time isn't it. I'm so sorry it's still not happened for you. It's shit.

We are all in the same shitty boat though Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate

MrsKittenPie · 19/11/2015 21:12

Thanks glitter - mmm choc pud much appreciated.
My trash tv was going well til the surprise pregnancy for one of the characters from a one night stand - really? Today of all days! I give up!

glitterpoppy · 19/11/2015 21:01

Aww so sorry kitten, rant all you want at us.. We all understand and most of all feel the same as you do. Passes kitten the rest of my chocolate pud to share Cake

MrsKittenPie · 19/11/2015 20:56

mrs - thank you so much. You don't know how much I needed to hear your kind words xxx
Sorry you've been having a shitty week too, I do exactly the same with the tantrums and sobbing fits, crying in the toilets at work is my usual thing nowadays, lol about the strikethrough fail!
Yes I've got the trash tv on and wine will definitely be consumed this weekend. We're going to the lakes next week for a few nights - I was hoping to have just got a bfp by then but of course not, so will make the most of the wine instead.
It is so utterly draining, I honestly don't know how to pick myself up again, I so desperately wanted to be pregnant by Christmas but if it hasn't happened so far I doubt it will this month either. I hate ttc.
Thanks again mrs - you've kept a blubbering snotty mess a little bit sane xxx

MrsFlowers82 · 19/11/2015 20:25

Clearly my attempt to be clever and do strike-through text didn't work on my phone!

Kitten - I advise you do what I am doing, reach for the wine and some trash TV xxxx

MrsFlowers82 · 19/11/2015 20:24

Hi Kitten. I'm so sorry lovely and above all because I know exactly how you feel. I haven't been trying for as long as you, but I think we will all understand and relate to what you said.

I've been having a really shitty week with AF (gone now) but also all the congrats and pregnancy talk because of my colleague. Cue a few massive tantrums and sobbing fitswobbles when I've got home.

It's so draining. Keep on here and let it out. Know you're not alone FlowersCakeChocolateWine

MrsKittenPie · 19/11/2015 20:04

Ladies I need to cry, rant, shout, sob - all of them. Af is here - either 4 days early if I'm to stick with my original ovulation date or 7 days early if I'm to believe the date ff changed it to. I'm so upset I can't believe it, I'm sick of getting kicked in the teeth every month and have had enough. It's been 18 months now and surely time to give up. In this time I've driven myself insane with wondering about symptoms, taking supplements, ovulation tests, pregnancy tests - God knows how many and it's all been for precisely nothing. I am broken. I'm sick of the comments from people, 'you'd best get a move on', 'why aren't you pregnant?', 'just relax and it will happen', 'are you having enough sex?'
I'm sick of the baby bombs around every corner, being scared to go to occasions as I know there will be yet another announcement from normal people who have sex and get pregnant.
I'm sorry for the big wallow but I cannot talk to anyone about it except you lot, dh doesn't get it.
I am gutted Sad Sad Sad

(Throws a giant bar of Dairy Milk to shary )
Good luck with appointments next week, lovely :) FXd for you x
DBAFD 6... nothing new to report, got a gut feeling it's a BFN this cycle

Hi ladies, any spare chocolate or biscuits going?! Chocolate Just catching up with everyone, we REALLY need a BFP soon! CD16 for me so still really early days in terms of my cycle. Big week next week though, OH will be dropping off his swimmers at the hospital & I've got my gynae appointment Confused

MummyBex1985 · 19/11/2015 08:22

Glitter you would still get mat leave, just not as much pay! Life's too short to be miserable in a job you hate.

Unfortunately I have a pretty niche job and available roles are few and far between - at any one time there's usually no more than one potential job in a city of 750,000 people so my options are rather limited!

I'll probably just quit if we manage to have a baby though

glitterpoppy · 19/11/2015 07:49

I know bex it's awful isn't it, I didn't want to go through the stress of changing jobs as would be hoping I'm PG soon and if I did the whole maternity leave would be a question in a new job but I'm now thinking, how long will it take and me be stuck there Sad

glitterpoppy · 19/11/2015 07:43

No flowers no sign yet.. Had afew stomach aches and pains so thought it was on the way but they passed!

Aww prty that's cruel isn't it.. It's so hard! Sending you big hugs!!

PrtyPsn · 18/11/2015 22:39

Jeez! MOO!!! How long you been hiding behind chocolate mountain?!
DBAFD 7, slowly going crazy. Very much don't feel pregnant at all!!
Someone brought a newborn baby into work today, asked if I wanted to hold it but said no - was genuinely worried I wouldn't give it back burst out in tears :(

MummyBex1985 · 18/11/2015 21:32

glitter I know how you feel.

I was hopeful that a year of maternity leave would at least be a temporary respite but that was months ago now lol.

MrsFlowers82 · 18/11/2015 21:18

themoo · 18/11/2015 20:22

Hi honey I'm hOOOOooooommmee!

glitterpoppy · 18/11/2015 20:14

Thanks hippy not started temping yet, I've got the thermometer but wanted to start temping after my next AF arrives.. Whenever that will be!

How's everyone's day been? Mine been rubbish, work is horrendous at the moment.. I either need to change jobs or get pregnant. Wishing even more to get that BFP now but started to stress about the fact that I'm stressed Confused

neetie1 · 18/11/2015 17:41

Hi all temping going well and luckily not ovulated yet as hubby not back from China until Friday, due to ovulate sat so crossing fingers...

hippybird · 18/11/2015 07:21

Hi everyone! prty your boob/sink episode had be gaffawing loudly!! Hope your basting worked, and good luck with the TWW!
kitten that is frustrating!! In the long run though, temping should give you a better idea of your cycles, and at least if you don't conceive this month (hope you do, obvs), you might be able to look back and see why. It has helped with me to feel less infertile, and more that I've just had the timing really wrong sometimes.
glitter sorry for the long cycle!! Do you temp? Sorry, can't remember? Might help to see when you're ovulating in your cycle!
I'm pretty sure I just ovulated, based on a temp shift today, but we'll see as the month pans out! We had a good 3 days run of DTD just now, but last night we were knackered and gave it a rest til today. Hope we've not missed it!! The 3 days leading up to ov should be ok, right?? So now am entering the dreaded TWW!! I think this one's gonna be hard, because of the sister baby bomb, but also, this cycle I feel we've done everything right, got the timing pretty there, 3rd cycle with acupuncture, feel I'm getting the hang of my cycles. We'll see!!
Hope you're all doing well, wherever you are in your cycles!
