Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

And now the bitch is here

neetie1 · 02/12/2015 22:56

Yes knew she was trying. She didn't know I was and she says why didn't I tell her...mm cos it was still be all about you..

MrsKittenPie · 02/12/2015 22:21

mummy - lol that's true - I hate that as well! At least I'll get a good nights sleep

MummyBex1985 · 02/12/2015 21:55

Kitten I find it way worse after a row when they sleep next to you in a sulk and then fidget for hours despite not wanting to talk to you lol - at least you get a degree of peace!!

Neetie that's awful. I hate it when you know you have to be happy for them but it feels like a massive slap in the face!! Flowers

MrsKittenPie · 02/12/2015 21:48

pirsy - that sounds good. Grrr my dh is such a knob sometimes - we've just had a row about something so trivial and he's gone off to work - I really hate that when he goes off after a row like that to work. Stupid men.

glitterpoppy · 02/12/2015 21:42

Thanks for the support ladies.. I really appreciate it!! Smile

neetie that sounds awful for you to deal with, hope you're ok!!

Pirsy1 · 02/12/2015 21:34

I was also looking a bit toned but I have undone all that on holiday!

Pirsy1 · 02/12/2015 21:32

Neetie I'm so sorry - that must be really hard Flowers. Hope you're looking after yourself.

This thread has had to deal with a lot of baby bombs over the last few days!

Kitten - I just started doing yoga recently - I go to hot yoga. It's really relaxing and takes my mind off it.

MrsKittenPie · 02/12/2015 20:58

neetie - oh no Sad - was it a complete shock or did you know she was ttc? I really feel your pain Flowers

MrsKittenPie · 02/12/2015 20:57

glitter - don't be nervous, you're doing the right thing and it's getting you nearer to your bfp.
pirsy - glad you've had a good day shopping and nice you've found a few birthday things. Yes I keep saying it'll probably happen next month every time too. Yoga sounds good too, I need something like that, dh and I have had a really stressful year which I think (hope) has affected things but hopefully with less stress it may work out - it's what I'm clinging to anyway! I really want us all to get there too Smile

neetie1 · 02/12/2015 20:56

Worst photo bomb ever my sis is pregnant. ....

PrtyPsn · 02/12/2015 19:09

Just to say I'm so busy but keeping a watchful eye on my lovelies, hugs for all xx

Had a lovely day shopping. It's my birthday next week so picked out a few things that I'd like.

Yes Kitten it is hard. I keep saying to myself that it's ok because it'll probably happen next month ... I'm throwing the OPKs away again this month and going to back to every other day from CD10 I think. It's probably better if I don't know exactly when AF is due. Husband is going to do his SA too and then we can get referred which will be another positive step. Plus I am going to go back to yoga when I get back off holidays which will help me relax. I really want us all to get there Smile

Poppy that first visit to the doctor is hard but I think it is good that they have arranged some bloods and a scan for you ... much better than if they just said to go away and keep trying until it's been a year. Hopefully the tests will all be ok and your cycle will sort itself out. I had a few long cycles when I came off the pill (60 days ish) but they have settled down now to around 28 days and I am def ovulating so hopefully yours will be the same.

glitterpoppy · 02/12/2015 13:21

Hi, had my appointment this morning at the doctors.. Could feel myself getting teary eyed Blush they've booked me in for my bloods taking and swabs as well as referred me to be sent for an ultra sound to check everything's ok. Feeling nervous now Shock

MrsKittenPie · 02/12/2015 12:32

pirsy - they don't at all and can't understand how badly we are affected. I'm the same - I need to accept there is a problem - I just find that so hard to do though Sad
Enjoy your shopping Smile x

Pirsy1 · 02/12/2015 10:24

Thanks Kitten - yes they don't get it! At all. They just don't invest as much emotionally into this whole affair that we do. I think this baby bomb has hit me harder because in my mind I had told myself that one of the reasons we have been struggling is because I was working away during the week for the first 11 months TTC but this couple are in the same situation and they have managed it in about 3 months ... so now I think I have to accept that we have a problem Sad. Feeling better today though and going to go shopping.

MrsKittenPie · 01/12/2015 23:19

pirsy - big hugs. That must have been awful. Men just don't get it do they. My dh will quite happily tell me about whoever next is having a baby that we know then say he hopes I won't act all jealous because I'm a nightmare. What seriously does he expect? I hope you get a good sleep tonight and hopefully feel a little bit better tomorrow- I know it'll be hard though, it's so damn hard.
neetie - sorry about that - hope it's not af.
shary - try not to worry too much, fingers crossed its all fine

Pirsy1 · 01/12/2015 21:27

My husband baby bombed me in a restaurant. A couple we know are having a baby, I burst into tears. Told him I don't want to hear any more baby announcements. I've taken this really badly this month.

neetie1 · 01/12/2015 17:15

Grrrr cycle day 23 so decided to swab and there was a tinge of brown......so fed up ....this is so hard...hate being in my 40's and trying it really really depressing now...

SharyBobbins · 01/12/2015 15:46

Eugh hate baby bombs!
He's not done one before, these are the results from the first test at our local hospital. He's has to book in for a SA with the hospital were now under anyway do he'll be re-tested this week or next. The nurse on the phone said no reason was given but "sometimes it can happen if there's not enough in the sample". Purely speculation on her part but comments like that don't help!!!

Pirsy1 · 01/12/2015 15:25

Had a massive cry to my husband, feeling a bit better now.

Shary he has done one before which was ok hasn't he? It could be something like they lost it at the lab, or maybe a bit of a 'blip' ... I'm sure it'll be fine when he repeats it. I know how you feel though, I'm a bit scared of DH doing his.

Kitten that is the worst kind of babybomb! I also have no time for that stuff anymore, including people who use the withdrawal method and then are surprised when they get pregnant.

MrsKittenPie · 01/12/2015 15:04

Sorry pirsy - I've done that loads - been convinced this was the month then been hit by af, it's so vile Wine
Urgh- babybomb - a colleague - she didn't want a baby 4 months ago, came off the pill 2 months ago and is now 6 weeks pregnant and is 'totally shocked' - I was really quite rude but I can't be arsed with bullshit like that

SharyBobbins · 01/12/2015 14:37

Flowers Pirsy
Poppy good luck for tomorrow, seeing your GP is a positive step in the right direction! Blush OH's SA results came back asking him to repeat the sample. Obviously my naturally negative self is saying that means something is wrong!

glitterpoppy · 01/12/2015 12:33

Aww pirsy. it's awful isn't it, but yes least you can have vino!!

I was on the pill and came off it in March so I know it's only been 8 months but I'm pretty sure my cycles shouldn't be this long. It was 112 days last time and now this.. Hoping for reassurance tomorrow really and to know it can actually happen for me Sad

Pirsy1 · 01/12/2015 12:05

Poppy I think your doctor will be nice and you will feel better for going and talking to them about it. How long have you been TTC now? What were you using for contraception before?

I now have bright red blood so definitely AF. This is the most convinced I've been that I was pregnant. Totally fed up with it all now to be honest. Don't think it's ever going to happen. At least I can have a glass of wine at Christmas.
