Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

The monitor is flipping annoying. I hadn't realised before I bought it that it just gives results automatically in a lot of circumstances: it's not hugely helpful is it?

SharyBobbins · 14/10/2015 21:00

Pirsy I don't really trust CB. I just feel like I have to use the monitor because I spent so bloody much on it! Think I'll ditch it next cycle though because I prefer the IC's anyway. The sticks for the monitor cost a fortune and there's a pattern to the results- you always get two peaks etc.
I once used the CB monitor and the CB dual hormone OPKS with the same FMU and got peak on one low on the other!!

MummyBex1985 · 14/10/2015 20:50

Thanks for all the congratulations on the house Smile

Neetie and Mrs Flowers sorry that you are both having a bad time. Neetie I would go to the doctor - it might make you feel better and as MrsFlowers says you could always tell them you have been trying a year Wink. I think it depends who you see - if you get a GP who has been through TTC turmoil themselves they may well be more sympathetic and get some investigations going.

Shary I have had false positives on the CB OPK before too.

SharyBobbins · 14/10/2015 19:53

Ladies, getting seriously pissed off now! Got a "peak" on the CBAFM this morning. When I removed the stick there was a diagonal smear where the second line would be so it was basically bollocks! The IC OPK this afternoon proved it was a false reading. My temperature has been low for 3 days straight now which is weird as well, I've got no idea what is going on with my body at the moment. Feeling very frustrated!! Angry

MrsFlowers82 · 14/10/2015 19:43

Hi Neetie. Tears in my house tonight too, the spotting is getting heavier so I'm sure I'm out. I think the Drs app might be a way to make you feel better, you can always fib and say it has been a year Blush If it helps put your mind at ease its worth it, I find the constant worrying exhausting. Your dog is GORGEOUS!! Fluffy cuddles are always good. I hope you feel better soon.

MummyBex1985 · 14/10/2015 18:36

FX for you neetie, hope you get some answers. But don't forget up to a year is considered normal so there's probably no reason you won't get there eventually.

AF sucks though doesn't it Sad

neetie1 · 14/10/2015 17:16

My youngest dog wanted to check I was ok but she had not long before destroyed the ring card we need for Discover Dogs on Saturday so she was also creeping...

neetie1 · 14/10/2015 17:05

neetie1 · 14/10/2015 17:05

Well just swabbed with cotton bud and it's brown blood Sad seven months now and nothing...just been in tears...feeling shit now

PrtyPsn · 14/10/2015 13:23

neetie when I did my POAS on Saturday it was into a cheap hotel plastic cup and it started to crush and collapse under the weight of my gigantic FMU lol! Sorry about the BFN though
kitten I hate hearing of people who get pregnant from one instance of DTD grrrrrr!!

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 14/10/2015 12:12

It's hard isn't it MrsFlowers? I've got no business being upset - not been trying that long even!

MrsFlowers82 · 14/10/2015 11:47

Pirsy congrats on the offer being accepted! My house has an open day Saturday with twenty viewings (London property market is crazy) so hoping I find somewhere I like soon! So far my house hunt hasn't been very successful!

MrsFlowers82 · 14/10/2015 11:46

Morning all. Started spotting today, a sure fire sign AF is now on way as I usually spot for three days before. Feeling down and frustrated. No idea what the bright red spotting was last week, clearly not implantation. Can only conclude that my body is stupid and confusing!

YouAndMe I had another one yesterday. Sucks doesn't it? Can't help feeling like it should be my turn now!

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 14/10/2015 10:20

So...another day another pregnancy announcement. Old school friend this time.

MrsKittenPie · 14/10/2015 08:49

neetie - that's so funny! I've had some wee issues when trying to poas too, this ttc lark can be so undignified Grin. Sorry it was bfn, maybe as you say too early though, hope rumblings are the sign of good things not af

neetie1 · 14/10/2015 08:31

Morning very funny POAS story ..decided to have a try got cleaned out cotton bud tub to catch wee... big mistake started to wee and there was small slits at the bottom lol wee falling everywhere. . Anyways managed to catch a bit but it was BFN perhaps too early or maybe just not our month..again.. started to have a few rumblings lower down so either I am or its af a fecking gain.. We shall see.

MrsKittenPie · 14/10/2015 08:20

Congratulations pirsy!
I know what you mean about feeling lost about cycle prty - I'm permanently Confused Confused
I agree with pirsy about you resetting but fingers crossed anyway that the dtd did it's stuff!
I've decided that the spotting must have been a light af therefore I'm about cd14. I haven't bothered with opks this month and dh been on nights but tonight he is off so will get some dtd done. I may have missed ovulation or I may not even be ovulating with the 2 light afs I've had - who knows?!
glitter - how confusing for you too - why can't our bodies just act normal?!
At work yesterday I heard about someone who got pregnant after a one night stand as she is in a same sex relationship normally and just had the one night stand?? It's that easy is it?? I felt like shouting Sad

PrtyPsn · 14/10/2015 08:08

Woo hoo!! Excellent house news pirsy!!!
I know what you mean re: cycle, just feeling a bit lost at the min!
