Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

kitten I know exactly what you mean.. It's awful isn't it?

I just keep thinking to myself that I have to up my game... Although totally wondering if AF will show tomorrow as my app says.. I'm doubtful after my last couple of cycles have been all over the place!

BittersweetRose · 22/10/2015 07:32

Sorry about your GP kitten - can you request to see a different one at the practice? It might even be worth asking the receptionist if there is a GP at your practice who specialises in fertility/gyn issues. I get a better response from the GPs who are chest/asthma specialists as they don't throw antibiotics at me as a first answer to a persistent tight chest.

MrsKittenPie · 21/10/2015 23:14

poppy - I'm feeling down too. I know what you mean about pregnancy announcements and I suspect everyone around me is about to share their wonderful news which makes me apprehensive when going to any social occasions because I honestly don't think I will handle any more that well. It just seems so bloody easy to the rest of the world. Last weekend I point blank refused to go out with dh's cousin who has left her husband, moved a new bloke in and got pregnant with him all in the time we have been ttc! I couldn't have sat and listened to her Sad

glitterpoppy · 21/10/2015 21:16

I'm ok, felt a little down in the dumps this week and don't seem to have been able to drag myself out of it.. There's been so many pregnancies announced around me and its affected me a little.. Huff.

How're you feeling tonight?

MrsKittenPie · 21/10/2015 21:12

Thanks poppy - I know, thank you.
Yum Jaffa cakes - I'll have some of them Grin. How are you today?

glitterpoppy · 21/10/2015 21:04

Sorry to hear about your BFN kitten that's awful that your gp was so unhelpful.. The reason we visit them is for help so to feel like they are not interested in helping is rubbish!

throws Jaffa cakes out like frisbees

SharyBobbins · 21/10/2015 17:00

Wow congratulations youandme!! Xx

MrsKittenPie · 21/10/2015 12:37

youandme - there's no denying that then! Congratulations againSmile
mrsflowers - yes been trying a good while now - since June last year. I've got one ds who is 3 and I'm so lucky to have him so I feel like I can't really complain that I can't have another, would have loved a sibling for him though. I'm 38 so age not brilliant and did go to gp who was spectacularly unhelpful and said there wouldn't even be any investigations on the nhs and we can't afford private.
Another bfn here today - totally unsurprisingly

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 21/10/2015 11:58

Thanks!

Stats: age 28, ttc #1, cycle #4.

It is all very nerve-wracking: it's sooo early. It feels like so many things could go wrong!

BittersweetRose · 21/10/2015 11:23

Congratulations YouandMe - what are your stats, again?

MrsFlowers82 · 21/10/2015 10:47

CONGRATS AGAIN YouandMe!!

glitterpoppy · 21/10/2015 07:33

Oh youandme that's fab news, congratulations I'm so happy for you!! Flowers

This is turning out to be a very positive feed, fingers crossed I will be soon!!

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 21/10/2015 07:25

Well I guess I'll call that definitivite and stop testing. AF not actually due until Friday, but my temp is still rising, and well...there it is in blue and white. I think I will tell my parents tonight.

Thanks so much for all your support ladies - I will keep my fingers crossed for all of you, and lurk around a bit to keep an eye on how you are all getting on!

So it's John Wayne vs Les Dawson in The Great British Pee Off and Prty's judging... get ready to be basted, lovelies!
BittersweetRose · 21/10/2015 07:07

Well, I'm out. AF has appeared. Looks like it was weird PMT!

Still, looking at my BBT I think I did ov (though late) but we missed it. Not terribly cheery as had apparently been holding out hope we had been super lucky. Never mind. I'll take this as a good sign my body is functioning and we can try again soon.

MrsFlowers82 · 20/10/2015 22:20

Congrats again Rosi - forgive me as I turn green with envy Wink xxx

MrsFlowers82 · 20/10/2015 22:19

Kitten keep strong. Remind me of your situation again...? It seems you have been trying a while, have you sort help? Sorry if I seem insensitive, I can't remember what has been said in past threads xxx

glitterpoppy · 20/10/2015 22:13

Thanks kitten hopefully you're right. I totally understand you though.. I feel the same. Think I've just had an off week!

glitterpoppy · 20/10/2015 22:11

Congratulations rosi Grin

Rosi393 · 20/10/2015 21:56

Quick update I did a clear blue test tonight and it was BFP.... Beginners luck I guess.
Best of luck to you all TTC ??

MrsKittenPie · 20/10/2015 21:55

moo - that sounds like a mad day! I'm having an early night too, dh at work so it is lovely to have the bed to myself Smile

MrsKittenPie · 20/10/2015 21:53

Thanks pirsy and mrsflowers - you'd think after 16 cycles I'd be used to it but it's hit me really hard this month. I've been really angry all day Sad. I'll have some quality street though...... I am so so so sick of ttc now and it seems like everyone gets pregnant so damn easily everywhere.
poppy sorry for your bfn too. You're not out yet though

themoo · 20/10/2015 21:49

I have to say, there's nothing like a 5am to 7pm day and a crisis with a bunch of patients to take your mind off things! Lord, I am ready for bed!

pinches all your chocolate and takes under duvet

glitterpoppy · 20/10/2015 21:24

Thanks for the quality streets flowers scrummy!

I agree prty see how you go and then a trip to find out what's happening with the Drs might be a good idea.

I went against my better judgement this morning and POAS.. BFN! I just have no willpower when DH is at work and I'm on my own. So over this cycle.... Next please!

MrsFlowers82 · 20/10/2015 21:18

Sorry for the BFN Kitten. Remember, it ain't over till The Red Lady sings.

Prty agree with Pirsy about seeing a Dr if nothing by six weeks... Agree it's the not knowing... Moo same to you my lovely. I am afraid I can't say much more to both of you right now than to sit tight... Crap advice I know.

Gets frustrated How can our bodies be so amazing and yet so effing crazy?! It's like it is designed to drive us mental!! Opens tin of Quality Street and starts wildly showering everybody with handfuls

SharyBobbins · 20/10/2015 21:12

What's your usual cycle length Pirsy? I'm on day 41. Absolutely bonkers!! So with a potential tww it'll be around 55 days! Surely my GP will have something to say about that!
