Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Thanks pirsy hopefully AF shows soon.

I've also got the thermometer so can start temping, had it a little while although not really used it..... Yet! Was waiting to start on the next cycle.

Pirsy1 · 27/10/2015 07:40

Kitten good luck with the temping! I have avoided it so far as think it would stress me out - will be good to hear how you get on.

Poppy I have had a few irregular cycles - especially when I first came off the pill, it is very frustrating because it's difficult to know where you are and try to time things. Hopefully the tummy pain is a sign that AF is imminent now so you can get on with the next cycle.

I am now 7 dpo I think. Feeling very irritable and likeI have PMT, usually only feel like this the day before AF. I don't think it's a sign - I'm probably just overtired. I have also moved from the optimistic part of the cycle to the pessimistic part.

glitterpoppy · 27/10/2015 07:25

Hi all, I've just got back from a lovely weekend in the lakes.. It just went too fast!

Just been catching up on the thread.. I agree flowers that definitely was an incredibly insensitive way of telling you Sad

Well AF didn't appear for me on Friday or the entire weekend, I've tested and BFN. Felt pretty rubbish all day yesterday and my stomach hurts again today.. Hoping AF will just come now. I'd love to be regular so I know where I am Confused currently cd35.

PrtyPsn · 27/10/2015 07:25

Haha kitten think I'll start saying that at the year mark!
You never know, maybe you'll be having a celebration in the lakes for a bfp rather than the witch ruining it :)

MrsKittenPie · 26/10/2015 22:34

Hi everyone. Sorry it's been a shit day for some.
mrsf I totally get where you're coming from, that must have been horrendous to deal with. I too am totally and utterly sick of all the fucking announcements. It's not bloody fair and we so deserve our bfps. I'm sick of getting so upset every month when the witch turns up. I think the Gu in bed idea is genius and just what you need. I had a few drinks this weekend when I realised I'd failed yet again.
prty- hugs for you too - people are so thoughtless sometimes when they ask questions like that. I've started saying now - well actually I would like another baby but for some reason I can't, that tends to shut some up.
In my news I've had a manicure today and my thermometer has arrived so temping commences tomorrow, will see what happens. Have realised witch is due the day before we go to the lakes in November- great timing - just what I bloody need Haloween Sad

If only it were as easy as eating chocolate puddings Halloween GrinHalloween GrinHalloween Grin

PrtyPsn · 26/10/2015 21:18

(looks around frantically for a spoon before giving up, tilting head back and sliding in pudding whole)
If that's true shary then I should have been pregnant at least 15 times in the 8 months of trying Halloween Grin

SharyBobbins · 26/10/2015 21:08

Ooh I've just had a chocolate pudding too Halloween Wink! Can we pretend we've read somewhere that it increases fertility?!

MrsFlowers82 · 26/10/2015 20:09

Thanks ladies. Inclined to agree she didn't handle it too well, she knows everything as we share a lot.. Thats two announcements and one birth in less than four days... Not ashamed to admit that I am currently in bed with a Gu chocolate pudding which the hubs bought in an attempt to cheer me up. Think he is quite shocked by how hard this one has hit me. I guess it's because she is one of the people I'm closest to, no avoiding seeing and talking about it like some of the others... Sad Giving up on today!

Prty sorry you have had a shitty day too. slides over the other Gu pudding before my OH can get his hands on it...

Pirsy1 · 26/10/2015 20:07

Flowers, Funny and Prty - sorry about the pregnancy announcements and questions. Flowers I totally agree with the others that your friend was very insensitive to announce her pregnancy like that to you. I know you are happy for her but it's ok to feel sad for yourself too.

I haven't had to contend with too many pregnancy questions - was sort of expecting it this weekend at the wedding but everyone is very tactful which is a blessing!

Had a horrible day at work so have had a big slice of cake to cheer myself up.

PrtyPsn · 26/10/2015 18:42

flowers no two ways, my lovely, that totally fucking blows! Also agree with shary because I'm a massive bitch - it was really inconsiderate of her to send that text especially then. Big hugs, sweetie, we are all here xx
beanz no, with the exception of one close friend nobody knows we are TTC so they don't know about the chemical either. I know I can't really blame them because they dont know but it's just a horrible situation to be in, people asks sensitive questions in an insensitive way without considering what may or may not be happening for that person

OP posts:
funnybeanz · 26/10/2015 18:09

Oh no MrsFlowers82. It's completely understandable that you feel shocked, jealous, a whole load of emotions! I know how you feel, not quite the same but a close friend who had been ttc for just 3 months announced she is pregnant and it caused a massive meltdown for me. I feel like everyone but me is making progress, either pregnant or having second. It's so hard as you have to be happy for them but actually ttc is so all consuming and you just want it to be you instead which lears to jealousy. I had to distance myself for a while just to allow myself time to deal with it. Just look after yourself and allow yourself to feel emotional. You could give yourself tonight off and dtd tomorrow which will still be in your fertile period. Xx

SharyBobbins · 26/10/2015 17:26

I'm sorry Mrs Flowers I'm dreading this happening to me as I'm sure others are too. We know how you must feel right now so please vent to us xxx thinks bf sending you that text knowing you're ttc and that you're in work is pretty shitty but don't want to say it outloud in case I sound like a bitch

MrsFlowers82 · 26/10/2015 17:21

Hi ladies. Sorry as I am about to ignore everyone and rant... full on meltdown here...

One of my best friends (and one of the only people who knows we are TTC, who I frequently talk to and moan at) has just text me to say...she is pregnant. Totally unexpected, not even trying. Her second child. Got the text just now at work and actually had to run to the toilets as could feel the tears coming.

I have replied and obviously I am happy for her. As well as being utterly devastated and completely jealous Sad. I am just so tired of feeling disappointed. The majority of my friends are now having or planning number two and I feel so left behind.

Today is supposedly the first day of my fertile window and I just can't be bothered. Feel about as sexy as a dishcloth and just want to curl up Sad

funnybeanz · 26/10/2015 17:16

Oh PrtyPsn - that's tough. I'm sorry you had to go through that. It's difficult to stay controlled and know what to say in those situations I think. Do any of your family know?

FX it''s your month Pirsy1!

PrtyPsn · 26/10/2015 14:55

FXd for you pirsy
Had to run the gauntlet of 'don't you want to have children?' today at an impromptu family gathering. First time it's been said since my chemical, was a bit harder to take than normal (sigh)

Hello,
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I was away at a wedding in Ireland. Had a lovely time but feeling tired today. Think I'm 6dpo today. This first week has gone quite quickly so hopefully the next one will too. Have been convinced that this is going to be the month, just had a real feeling about it, but has now changed to pessimism and not so hopeful anymore!

MummyBex1985 · 25/10/2015 22:27

neetie from what I've read online, sore boobs usually arrive in the days after OV - but I've noticed I usually get three days of sore boobs followed by OV type pain and sure enough when AF arrives, it's always 2 weeks after to the day!

It's worth tracking it as a symptom to see if it's a pattern Smile

neetie1 · 25/10/2015 18:54

Another reason I thought it could be ovulation apart from the test was very gooey CM all day but just that day and boobs hurt for a few hours.

neetie1 · 25/10/2015 18:08

Well didn't have to worry about OH being in the mood. DTD was achieved last night and this morning. Not sure what is going on this month with my body will just have to try to DTD every other day lol

PrtyPsn · 25/10/2015 14:19

Ooo yeah kitten I'm could ring this as day 2 of AF due to spotting, normally 31 day cycle, O around CD18, using OPK this cycle

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 25/10/2015 13:29

The witch is here for me too Sad Haloween Sad - so cycle buddies this time prty?

PrtyPsn · 25/10/2015 11:14

shary AF did eventually show up properly this morning!!

OP posts:
SharyBobbins · 25/10/2015 08:23

Neetie I didn't think it was possible to ovulate twice but a quick Google search indicates it might not be that clear cut! If I were you I'd switch to the cheaper OPKs next cycle & use one each day to try and work out what's going on. Just remember that all OPKs are designed to detect the LH surge that usually occurs before ovulation, they don't confirm ovulation itself, do you might want yo try temping too.

Any update Prty?! CD46 here, 4DPO Halloween Hmm

PrtyPsn · 24/10/2015 20:16

Is or possible to O twice in one cycle? Perhaps it's another hormone surge related to AF that it's picking up neetie
Crisis, lovelies!! The pink tinge did not turn into AF! The next day I got a brown tinge then nothing! Feel like AF is imminent (headache, bloated, pains, wind) but nothing yet!! What to do next??
