Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Pantz welcome to the thread! Will keep my fingers crossed for you. I think Christmas will be a good 2ww distraction this month - thats what Im hoping anyway.

Kitten ... thats disappointing. Is there any chance the bleeding could be implantation, or am I being unhelpfully optimistic?!

MrsFlowers - Im glad your mum is out of hospital. I hope you have a lovely Christmas. Xx

MrsFlowers82 · 20/12/2015 11:10

Hi all. Still dipping in and out. My mum is out of hospital which is good.

Kitten I'm sorry you've had a rough week. That is so cruel Flowers

PrtyPsn · 20/12/2015 09:42

kitten that's really difficult - I've been there, remember? Take comfort in the fact that you can become pg (though I know nothing is a comfort right now) it's not over til AF is fully here though (hugs)
pantz you are more than welcome here, lovely :) my TWW takes me somewhere around 27th - me and my app have different ideas! So I'm more than happy to hold your hand... and also stop you consulting Dr Google - no good comes of this!!
Will create a new thread today too since we are almost outta posts!!

Welcome pantz, good to hear from you. What a great start that would be to the new year - a bfp - fingers crossed Xmas Smile
I had a very faint line on a frer this morning but pink spotting so think it's been a chemical. Gutted. My temp is still up though so my body is confused (as am I). Toying with the idea of forgetting temping etc this month to try and relax a bit more but easier said than done.

BaggyPantz · 20/12/2015 00:40

Hello ladies, I've been lurking in the background...have you got room for one more? Been TTC on and off since May. Back on again this month and AF is due New Years Day, so I need some company during the dreaded 2WW. Oh and someone please ban me from Google!!

MrsKittenPie · 19/12/2015 21:36

Thanks poppy - it's been such a whirlwind today - thinking it was a bfp this morning then the crashing disappointment. I can't understand how a pink line that came up within a couple of minutes could be false, it's so cruel.
Sorry to hear you're having such a frustrating time trying to find out your results, hopefully they'll get you a quick appointment.

glitterpoppy · 19/12/2015 18:47

Oh sorry kitten I thought I could see a faint line too.. Xmas Sad

pirsy I have spoken to the doctor and he just said I had to book in to discuss everyone once scans were back. Will ring AGAIN Monday Xmas Hmm

MrsKittenPie · 19/12/2015 17:14

Thanks pirsy - Wine very much ch needed xx

Pirsy1 · 19/12/2015 15:13

Oh Kitten that is rubbish!!! You must be so disappointed, I'm sorry lovely Sad. Sending you hugs, Flowers and Wine to get through the party,

MrsKittenPie · 19/12/2015 15:09

Bfn on a frer Sad, knew it was too good to be true. So have to go to a family party now and pretty sure there will be a baby bomb. Joy

MrsKittenPie · 19/12/2015 10:51

Thanks prty and pirsy - you're so lovely. I really don't know what to do. I can't believe it could be positive. I might go and get a frer but would be so gutted if it was bfn. I still can't find my digital tests!!

Pirsy1 · 19/12/2015 09:47

Kitten I can see it too! Will you test with a FRER?! Going to keep everything crossed for you ... I would love you to be pregnant. Honestly, I'm so excited for you.

Poppy def ring up next week and chase the scan. Can you ask the doctor to ring you so you get a proper explanation of bloods and scan?

So I think my OPKs are getting lighter so maybe I have ovulated some time this week. We have done a lot of DTD so should have it covered. If it was the week before which would be early, we def don't because DH was on nights. Going to keep it up this week too.

PrtyPsn · 19/12/2015 09:13

Noooo I think this definitely calls for a FRER or CB... I'm on the edge of my seat!!

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 19/12/2015 08:37

Thanks prty - it does look pink in real life but I honestly don't believe it could mean anything. I think I'm just overexcited because it's the first time I've seen anything other than stark white on a test! It's so funny because I've hidden my digital tests from myself as I didn't trust myself and I've no idea where they are Grin!!

PrtyPsn · 19/12/2015 08:32

Hi kitten sorry you've had such a tough week (hugs)
I can see something very faint - more on the first pic than the second, no colour though, more of a shadowy type line

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 19/12/2015 07:48

Maybe this is a better pic

Here it is, I think I am going mad

MrsKittenPie · 19/12/2015 07:45

Morning everyone, sorry I've not been on for a while, been having an emotional week, af didn't turn up and have been testing madly all week and nothing. But this morning I can see a faint line, but last night I had a small streak of red so thought it was af coming so am totally confused. If I post a pic, tell me what you think - it's okay, after 18 months ttc I may just be going mad.....

glitterpoppy · 18/12/2015 19:50

Hi all.. Thanks for your positive words. Scan results still not in at the doctors, spoke to another snotty receptionist who told me to chase it up with the scan company earlier so I did who said they would fax results in 10 minutes, phoned doctors back who refused to check fax machine and said its not as simple as them just been faxed.. The doctor would need to look at them 'if' they came then they'd need to be uploaded to my file. Huff.. Can see me having this worry over my mind over Christmas.

How's you girls? Keeping my fx queasiness is a symptom for you both!! Xmas Wink

Pirsy1 · 18/12/2015 17:32

He was at football. I let him have last night off ... Im so generous Wink

Ive been feeling queasy too but Im not sure Ive even ovulated yet so I def cant read anything into it!

PrtyPsn · 18/12/2015 17:18

Did you find him??
DBAFD - 9 by me, 11 by app... total CM dry up, nothing at all :/ felt a little queasy this morning but sure it's probably Christmas stress!!

Pirsy1 · 17/12/2015 20:16

Hahahaha Prty, yes he is working hard! He's obviously decided he's had enough of his schedule because I've just got home from work and he's not in ...

PrtyPsn · 17/12/2015 14:05

I'm not surprise Mr Pirsy is trading sex for sandwiches - DTD 11,12 & 13?? He must be worn out Grin
OPKs are a fickle beast, they tease that positive and whip it away with no rhyme or reason...
I only take folic acid, stopped multi vits I used to take before TTC due to vit A, I also Tahoe omega 3 but I've always taken that

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 17/12/2015 09:11

Poppy try not to worry ... I agree that the receptionist shouldn't have said anything to you ... especially throwing around words like menopause, of course you are going to be upset! I hope you hear about the scans soon so you can see the doctor and get some proper answers!

We have reached a new low in the pirsy household. My DH told me last night that he'd only have sex if I would agree to make his sandwiches for his lunch today!

I have also got myself in a mess with OPKs. I said I wasn't going to use them this month ... but it's hard when they are right there in the drawer. I decided to pee on one on Sunday night (CD12) which was darkish but not dark enough to be positive. I was extremely dehydrated at the time. Ever since they have been not quite as dark as that. I'm not sure if I've not ovulated yet, I ovulated early this month and missed it, or if this is going to be an anovulatory cycle. So far have DTD CD 11,12,13,15 so just got to keep it up I guess.

Also is it bad to admit I've given up on pre-conception vitamins and I'll take them IF I get a BFP?
