Late period, some symptoms, neg test(s)

Hi
My AF is 8 days late.
I have some symptoms- smell of coffee I hate, feel sick, tired.
Sometimes I have similar pms symptoms but not to this extent and obviously being as late as I am....
Tested 3 days ago in the morning and last night in the evening and they were negative
When I had my son (born 2011) I knew at about 4 weeks and I had a early miscarriage in March and that was about 4 1/2 weeks

I would of thought it would be positive by now....

Anyone had/having similar problems?

Still no sign of AF, but was sick today ??

I hate the waiting around! Either want AF to show up so we can start trying again or get that positive result....
Waiting till Monday now (if I can!) then il go to the Drs either way

Very impatient so did a first response test this morning. It was negative Sad

Peckhr - wine sounds good If only I drank Wink I do think we stress ourselves too much. Good plan about the weddings too Smile

How u doing jennifer any sign of AF?

Thanks Pulledapart33. It's easy to focus on the test being everything - but it won't change whether you are pg or not. Wait a couple of days then do test again? Or a different brand? The waiting is the worst though, esp if you're impatient like me! But even a positive test doesn't mean that the result can't change. Life is so fragile.

Couldn't tell dr about positive test as hubby was there and hadn't told him, so looked like a bit of an idiot haha but reasoned that if I was then I'd want to know if there was a problem.

Gonna give it a break for a couple of months (got a couple of weddings next summer) and then try again a bit more focused like ovulation monitor etc in Jan. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy some wine and focus on the positives....! Hope you both get the results you want soon X

Hi both,

I'm the same. 9 days overdue and tested negative today Sad some pregnancy symptoms so really thought I was. The problem I have is my AF can be delayed so it could appear some point this week thought I have a gut feeling I am Hmm

Been trying to conceive since January and every month I get my hopes up although today is the first time I've actually tested.

Thinking of testing again tomorrow but then think I should just wait.

Peckhr- that's tough with a positive I can imagine how heart crushing that must have been ((( hugs )))

Hi Jennifer, yeah me too. Been ttc casually since Jan but becoming a bit obsessed about it...thought I was pg (3 days late, massive boobs, could swear they were darker, did a test wa positive) then yesterday felt minor period-pain type discomfort , today bleeding. Made dr appt, took hubby but def period. Feeling crap now. Feels like everyone else just manages it!
