Late period, some symptoms, neg test(s)

Well that's me back from a trip to the shops couldn't resist buying some cheap tests and one more expensive one lol so tempted to try a cheap one later but might wait until the first morning tinkle :) just realised I forgot to get milk ! Lol that was one of the reasons I went in the first place :0 will probs b on here later moaning about a BFN , I hope not xx

Nausea feeling is back now trying to kill it with dry roasted chickpeas (apparently they work really well will know soon enough)

I had the headaches nearly every day last week and I agree paracetomol was useless , shame ur not allowed nurophen that always seems to work for me . Iv noticed my gums bleeding aswell every time i brush my teeth along with the rest surely everything combined Isn't coincidental

I've been having headaches (gigantic ones not even curable by paracetamol), tiredness (that is not leaving despite how much I sleep), nausea , puffy and sore boobs, peeing all day, stomach cramps things which make me think I'm about to AF but I don't, mood swings irrationally irritable and dizziness mind you all these could just be coincidental

I think because of all the symptoms I think I am pregnant but each time I test its bloody negative only time will tell I suppose.

Oh yeah and heart flutter may seem weird but sometimes I feel my heart is pumping a lot more than usual which gives me sweats too. I dunno all this seems rather bizarre if I'm not pregnant which according to the tests I'm not x

Heehee :) nothing wrong with being impatient , it's our bodies ! Defiantly sounds like your having the symptoms tho ! What other symptoms have u been having ? I'm keen to compare .
Sorry if this is tmi but I have googled everything and I read a high soft cervix can be an indication of pregnancy before u get a positive test ? have I just hit a whole new level of crazy?! :s lol

I've tried eating little amounts today to stop feeling so nauseated and it seems to have worked really thinking about testing tomorrow but I've got to stay strong to get to day 15. I think I'll be visiting the GP maybe Friday if no AF by then.

Thanks ! It's really nice being able to speak about it to others in the same situation! Don't think my man gets it , probably sick of hearing me go on about it ! My first child was a nice surprise so didn't have the before period anxiety !

Hey Pulledapart - staying strong (just about) somehow came across people posting live pregnancy tests on youtube though got a bit caught up watching those...not necessarily the best move. I'm as anxious for your pregnancy test results as I am my own! I haven't been sick but last night kept getting a weird taste in my mouth and feeling like a might have needed to run to the bathroom but didn't so just a little nausea.

Hi Gx91 I'm planning on making a docs appointment just because I've never missed a period and the most I've been late is like 2 days so be a little conrned if I do test negative. We'll help you through the wait! These ladies are really encouraging :) x

Hey ladies just been reading ur posts , feel for you! I am only one day late and going insane as also getting negative result , don't think the tests r as good as they say , it took me a while to get a positive for my first pregnancy and doctor made me wait when I asked for a blood test ?? Eventually got the BFP a 10 days after I should have !
Been having the same pregnancy symptoms as last time ( headaches , bloating , cramping , metallic taste and tiredness ) it's driving me crazy not knowing ! Probably not worth testing again coz I got a negative test yesterday .

Don't know if i cud go 10 days , I would still try your doctors to see if they are nicer than mine was last time lol good luck to you all , hope u finially get the result you r looking for ?? X

Well day 12 now and no sigh of AF and last night nausea was so bad I had trouble sleeping I resisted the urge to test this morning.

Agree wantobemum - i think I will wait till after day 15 also (plus the test I've ordered should arrive by then)

Hoping whatever is causing these symptoms calms down by then.

I think I'll wait until day 15 after Potkettleblack2's response well I'll probably test day 10 and day 15. I think for me it's the first time since we've been TTC that I've missed a period you're so right Jennifer8531...it's sooooo cruel.

Hello everyone, a few months ago I had this experience so I know exactly how you're feeling. I'm usually very regular but I was two weeks late and only negative tests. I also had sore boobs etc, and googled loads and totally had my hopes up....But on day 15 AF arrived. I was sooo disappointed. I don't know how to explain why I was so late, and I still wonder if it was some form of early miscarriage-but I didn't have a positive test at all so I guess I'll never know. The waiting is horrid though, and I know this probably isn't what you want to hear....hopefully you all get your BFPs soon

I've just bought 50 ultra early detection test off amazon as I can't afford to keep buying the expensive one and one clear blue test. Should arrive on the 8th which will at least keep me away from vigorous testing LOL I'm sure once they are here I will be testing almost everyday if AF still hasn't appeared.

Oh yes it is absolutely cruel to not have AF show up for this long to when your ttc!

Ah how annoying! Feeling for you, definitely go to the G.P. I heard they do but some people have said they can make you wait longer than it's already been and that they just get you to do a urine test which makes no sense. You'd think they'd go straight to a blood test.

I've got my first response test sat waiting on the side roll on Tuesday, trying to stay busy until then.

I couldn't wait got impatient so did a first response test this morning. Of course it was negative Day 11 here now and still no AF!

I'm thinking of getting the clear blue ones tomorrow although they are expensive. I will try to wait until mid week to do that one though (I'll try anyway)

I might so visit G.P but was wondering do they still do blood tests to confirm pregnancy? Anyone know.

It's really nice to talk to people in the same situation I must say.

I'm planning on doing a test on Tuesday...that will make me 10 days late then I think it will be Dr's time!

Pulledapart33 - I know what you mean...but if you're now physically being sick...sounds like somethings going on. It's difficult to not get your hopes up when your having symptoms.

Another thing that's so frustrating is that everyone tells you that it's when you're not really trying that it'll happen...getting pretty sick of hearing it. I mean how can you not be wondering whether or not your going to come on every month, definitely easier said than done. xx

Great proper nausea and sick now just threw up and still feel like I will be sick again

Peckr- your right logically we should have a positive eventually. Thanks for asking after me I'm doing ok apart from the dizziness and headache but paracetamol has helped

Jennifer, the waiting is the worst! Have you done another test? When I went to dr on Friday he just asked if I'd done a test (I said no) so he just said "do a test and come back". But def go if you're unsure, logically eventually you have to get a + result or AF. Good luck!

I'm having the same issue now...I'm now 7 days late...did a First Response test when I was 4 days late cos NEVER been late before always on time but it said negative. I still haven't had any signs of AF though, just really tired all the time and been getting a bit queezy at times, no actual sickness though.

Any advice? I was thinking of waiting a few more days and doing another test...bit worried if I'm not preggers and don't get AF xx
