Well ladies, as requested, let's keep it going, even if it's few and far between! Our little greenhouse still has the door open for all weebles past and present! Smile

Ah Moon he sounds like a right little character. 2 year olds are a handful but SO entertaining. Smile jealous of your ability to lose weight without trying. I have to really put my mind to it.

I've had a really lovely festive time. There are a number of extended family birthdays from mid Dec to early January so we have had almost a month of family meet ups that mostly revolve around good! I'm ready ringer back to normal now though not back to work

The DDs have been excellent this holiday. They have been really good company and have even slept past nine some mornings. Bliss! This is probably the calm before the pre-teen storm but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. Smile

Healthy eating starts Monday. Wink

moonmrs · 02/01/2016 19:37

Hi neeko. Lol no diet here! I cannot diet whilst life is so busy and whilst j is being a terrible 2! But weirdly I have apparently lost nearly half a stone without trying according to the gp Hmm
J had a brilliant Christmas thank you, we did have some good days together, much needed. Hope you all had a good time too? J being extremely naughty and difficult atm but also has moments of loveliness and he is talking for England!

Neeko · 02/01/2016 09:17

Happy New Year! Who is starting their diet? Grin

Cloud very excited for you. Hope everything goes exactly as you've planned. Looking forward to hearing your news.

Rumours it's crazy how long we have all "known" each other, isn't it? Hope you are having a lovely festive time and your boys aren't too unsettled by the change in routine?

Chintaria hope the Xmas dinner went well. Bet there was much excitement in your house.

Moon. Did J have a nice Christmas? Hope you have managed plenty of family time this past couple of weeks.

MrsKate lovely to hear from you. Hope all is well.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2016.

Rumours · 02/01/2016 08:23

Happy 2016 everyone SmileSmileSmilehope it's good to us all.

Nice to see you pop MrsKate and lovely to hear about Ted.

Cloud can't believe you've only 2 weeks to go, wow, can't wait to hear how it all goes and to 'meet' our next cyber niece/nephew Grin

I can't believe how long these threads have been running. A is sitting in bed next to me and he will turn 7 later this year, so that mean these threads have been going at least 7 - 8 years if not longer!!! Shock

moonmrs · 31/12/2015 20:58

Cloud eek! Not long to go! Very excited for another emmsys arrival, will keep my fingers crossed for you that everything goes smoothly.
Kate nice to see you popping in, you sound happy.
I'm just flying through to wish you all a happy new year. I hope it is a happy and healthy one for everyone.
Thank you again for all your words of wisdom. I say it all the time but without this little haven I would be a very different person. Lots of love to you and your families xxxx

MrsKate · 30/12/2015 21:28

Hi girls I know it been like forever ago since I posted I was just thinking about you ladies and how you are all getting on .im really well jacks getting all grown up and I had Ted last year he's 18months xxx

CloudOfStarlings · 30/12/2015 00:17

Knock knock, hi ladies and happy Christmas!! Hope you've all had a lovely time with your gorgeous families!! Really sorry not to have posted much recently, life just gets so busy but I do think of you all often. Lovely to read everyone's news and congrats to bq! Moon I hope you're recovering OK too bless you! Excuse not to do the washing up at Xmas though?? Grin
Chintaria you're so lovely thank you for asking after me. Hope your legs are recovering..sounds sore! No you didn't scare me away don't be silly, but I do so wish we could have both been due to give birth now, I'm sorry SadSad
My older sister has just announced she is pregnant, due in July.. My little sisters baby should have been due April so all a bit bittersweet in the family at the moment..

This one is due in 2 weeks, I can't believe it!! We have booked in for an elective section on the due date (so if I go into labour early we will try for natural delivery but decided we didn't want to go postdates this time) I'm really scared.. Just don't know what to expect with the recovery, though I know this is the right decision (based on lots of different advice, stats, my history etc) so I do feel peace about it but just anxious too..
And we still have no boys name so need to pop to the name threads!!! Grin

Sorry this is just a flying visit but wanted to say happy Xmas and give a quick update.. Lots of love to all!! Xxx

Neeko · 24/12/2015 15:00

Lamaitresse · 24/12/2015 09:32

Happy Christmas from us in Belgium too everybody Xmas Smile

Have woken up this morning with a to-do list as long as my arm and a massive headache, grrrr. My brain is no longer functioning due to trying to organise massive Christmas/Boxing Day with lots of people why do i do this, so much so that I even came out with a new word this morning that doesn't even exist Xmas Hmm DH thinks I've gone mad Xmas Grin

Oh well, looking forward to tomorrow, have a wonderful day everyone! xxx

Rumours · 24/12/2015 06:25

Happy Christmas fellow weebles Xmas Smile

Rumours · 16/12/2015 22:30

Congratulations BQ Xmas Smile that's lovely news.

I didn't win, and wee ds cried so had to be taken out, but I got a wee trophy so he was ok with that in the end Xmas Grin

Is everyone ready for Christmas? Just 9 more sleeps...

moonmrs · 16/12/2015 22:22

Neeko · 16/12/2015 07:07

End of term madness here.
Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas build up. [santa]

moonmrs · 14/12/2015 22:23

Ooh congratulations bq! Still love hearing bfp news Smile
Waves to neeko and chintaria and any lurkers. Back soon. Famous last words...

Lamaitresse · 11/12/2015 22:00

Oh wow bakingqueen that's lovely news! What a night for me to lurk Grin How far along do you think you are? I'll have everything crossed for you, as will everyone else on the thread I'm sure!!
How are you feeling (apart from nervous of course!)?

Moon so sorry to hear about your accident, poor you!!! It sounds really painful Sad Hope you manage to open it more easily from now on! Hope J wasn't too shocked when you fell. He sounds amazing, you must be very proud!

Rumours would love to hear how you got on at the awards ceremony Smile I really hope you won! I tried for ages to get access to stv but I suppose it was a long shot from Belgium! I was thinking of you though! Hope they made you feel as special as you deserve x

Neeko how are you doing? I hope all is well with you and that you're looking forward to Christmas! Have you got all the presents sorted?! Thanks for thinking of me - I'm in a much better place now than I was thank goodness. It's taken time but I'm starting to come to terms with the thought that we won't ever have a third baby. We're so very lucky to have the two we have so how can I feel anything other than blessed Smile

Blue wow! I am majorly impressed with your flexibility! You must be one toned lady Grin How do you find time to do your classes?! Hope the boys are okay, growing up fast I bet...

4ever I don't think I ever got back to you about my leg operation - yes it was for veins! I have always had rubbish ones but certain valves were leaking so they had to whip them out. The op was two weeks ago, and my legs are still very sore. How long did it take you to get back to normal after your op? Did you have both done?
Hope all is well with you all x

Things are fine here, just trying to focus on ds & dd and enjoy them as much as I can. Ds has been a little difficult lately as he seems to think he knows better than us Hmm and dd is a delight as always - she's starting to speak in both english and french, I'm so proud of her! She's 22 months now and definitely knows what she wants!

Anyway, I will definitely try to post more often - I do pop in quickly to catch up on things but as always RL gets in the way of posting much!

Cloud if you're around please let us know how you are. I really hope I didn't scare you away from posting after what happened with me. I really hope everything is okay with you, your boys and your bump x

bakingqueen · 10/12/2015 22:43

Hello long time since I've been back sorry. L is 4 at school now and loving it and tonight I got a bfp happy but very nervous so I'm knocking on the door of the greenhouse again hoping I can come back in x

Neeko · 08/12/2015 21:59

Oh no Moon. Poor you! We always did that with the stair gates too.
J sounds very cute. Smile

moonmrs · 07/12/2015 22:30

Another quick post from me. If anyone is still using a baby gate, beware! I can't open ours quickly, so because I'm tall, I just climb over them. Until a week ago. I thought I'd done the gate up, putting J into bed. Said night night, climbed over it, went flying. Trip to a&e, fractured elbow and torn ligament. Very painful! Arm in a sling and strong painkillers! So please don't be lazy like me and use the catch like you're supposed to. I have learnt my lesson. I'm ok just feeling a bit sorry myself and I will never take my lovely elbows for granted again.
Hope everyone is ok and looking forward to Christmas! J can say Santa Clause is coming on 25th December, so cute! He's coming on leaps and bounds, can spell out letters on his bricks and can count to 10, clever little bugger he is Smile

Neeko · 05/12/2015 07:30

How did it go Runours?

Hope everyone is ok in this stormy weather.

Rumours · 26/11/2015 20:38

Thankyou Grin

Neeko · 25/11/2015 20:30

That sounds exciting Rumours. Hope you have a brilliant time whether you win or not but really, really hope you win Smile

Rumours · 25/11/2015 20:25

Thanks guys. Next step is the awards ceremony next week Smile

Neeko · 23/11/2015 07:45

Rumours I totally agree with Blue: you are an inspiration. I welled up watching it. How lovely to be so appreciated in your community.
The boys looked great too.

Blue. I'll just keep practising. I've never been able to touch my toes Blush so very much looking forward to when I can manage the yoga toe grip. Well done you in the post-grad. Happy studying!

We went to our town's Christmas light switch on this weekend. I can officially start talking about Christmas now Xmas GrinXmas GrinXmas Grin

bluesatinsash · 17/11/2015 12:02

Grin Grin Grin. Everyone knows the camera adds 10lbs Wink

You looked lovely and I for one felt very proud watching all your achievements. To raise children is hard enough, to raise them so far away from family even harder, to see to their individual needs and foibles hard again but you do all that AND still set up two groups to meet and chat and give peer support is just awesome. rumours you're an inspiration Smile

I was watching telling my DH that you were our first Emmsy's graduate mummy and he remembered all the hours I spent pre I-pad/I-phone squirrelled away on the home PC sharing stories and giving support Smile

neeko honestly it's just a case of practice that's why I love it as every week I feel I can stretch a little bit further and balance a little bit longer.

I've just started a post-grad in HR so I really should be doing my first assignment and not dicking about on the I-pad Grin
