Oh dear. That boy of yours never really stops does he?
All good here. Had a nice weekend. On the countdown to the summer now! We stop earlier up here. Did I tell you we are going to Florida for my 40th? I am beyond excited and driving everyone nuts with my planning. Grin

moonmrs · 02/05/2016 19:14

Plodding on here, could do with a weekend to recover from the weekend! Have been away with family but J didn't fancy doing much sleeping Hmm he seems to only sleep in his own bed, he even stays awake on a 3 hour car journey.

Going back to work for a rest!
How about you neeko?

Neeko · 01/05/2016 23:31

You too, Moon. How are you?

moonmrs · 29/04/2016 19:37

Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend Smile

moonmrs · 12/04/2016 20:50

Hi neeko. Up and down here. J can be lovely or can be a little bugger. More of the little bugger at the moment! He's being very challenging to say the least. But there are some lovely moments too, so that helps.
Glad to hear you're enjoying some much deserved time off with your girls.

Neeko · 10/04/2016 20:37

Hi. Just checking in.

Cloud- glad everything is going reasonably smoothly. You sound very loved up with your little girl. Smile

Moon- how's everything? Hopefully still on the up.

I'm halfway through our school hols. Loving having time with the girls and no routine.

moonmrs · 06/04/2016 19:12

Cloud you sound so happy, it was lovely reading your post. And I'm very glad you're getting sleep, that makes the world of difference. Coping with 3 can't be easy!

CloudOfStarlings · 05/04/2016 23:34

So sorry ladies I haven't checked in for ages!! But yes it is that time of year when loads of us have losses to remember Halo hugs to all of you!
moon I follow Barbie on Instagram so still see a bit of what she's up to, still jet setting and still with 3 gorgeous-as-ever children!! Smile also follow Sabs and Iggy.. think neeko keeps up with MLS? But yes I do think about mermaid every so often and hope she's OK.
Soo lovely to read you've been having a better time with J..we found the same with ds2 that once he could talk more things do get a lot easier! I'm doing well thanks so much for asking Smile little N is an absolute delight, just so in love with her, and with seeing the boys with her, it's just heart-melting! And she sleeps well too Wink so no complaints here!!

Love to you all and enjoy the rest of the hols!! X

moonmrs · 28/03/2016 21:34

Cloud, how's things going? Hope you're managing with everything and you're getting some sleep.

moonmrs · 26/03/2016 12:57

Thank you neeko. It's only because I want the best for him. And because it's nothing like I imagined!

Neeko · 26/03/2016 07:04

Yes we do! Tbf to him if he had initially lain down to it he probably would have recovered more quickly. He has a tremendous work ethic which I'm usually really proud of him for but sometimes it blinkers him to what is most important...

So glad you are able to enjoy your boy more. You are far too hard on yourself about the kind of mum that you are/ feel you should be when it seems to me that you are doing a great job. Thanks

moonmrs · 25/03/2016 22:33

I think being able to be bribed always helps Grin And I think because he can talk so well now, he can communicate his frustrations and we can help, or reason with his tantrums. Whatever it is, it's working, and I'm relieved more than anything, I thought we'd raised a monster child! I've laughed so much this week, he's such a comical little thing.

I think of mermaid and mls and barbie often, along with all the old school emmysys. I always wonder what happened to jools. Can't believe your dd will be 6. Doesn't time fly.
Sorry to hear your dh is still struggling, it's a nasty thing, flu. But glad you're feeling better. Us women just get on with it hey ;-)

Neeko · 25/03/2016 22:20

Oh and I am more or less fully recovered from flu but DH is still struggling with a chronic cough and fatigue. He is on antibiotics but no improvement yet. Thanks for asking.

Neeko · 25/03/2016 22:18

Oh Moon,I'm so pleased to read that. Your happiness is palpable. I'm sure this week will have done you all a world of good. Smile

DD2 is 6 on Tuesday Shockso Easter has been over-shadowed in this house this year. Incidentally, Tuesday will also be Mermaid's birthday. I wonder how she is these days.

moonmrs · 25/03/2016 21:49

It's been lovely, thank you. J has been like a different child! I've enjoyed being with him so much, he's been so well behaved and so much fun to be around. We've been keeping busy though as he gets bored easily and then plays up! The last few times I've taken a week off its been hard and I almost wished I was at work! But maybe, just maybe, we're actually getting somewhere now.
Are the girls excited about Easter? Or too old for the Easter bunny now? How are you doing with the flu recovery?
Haha that's a good smilie. Suits you Wink

Neeko · 25/03/2016 21:39

Nope! But I like this one. Halo Looks like it was made for me Grin

Neeko · 25/03/2016 21:38

Hi Moon. Hope you have had a fun week off. Don't you just put a b in front for bunny smiles?

I'll try it [bsmile]

Did it work?

moonmrs · 25/03/2016 19:22

Where are the bunny smilies?! Or can I just not see them on my phone Hmm

moonmrs · 21/03/2016 20:14

Hope everyone's ok. I'm having a well earned week off work Smile and a whole week to spend with my beautiful boy and lovely dh. Took J on the train for the first time today. He wasn't too sure about it! But was a nice day out and nice for both dh and I to not drive.

Have you all broken up for Easter yet?

Neeko · 15/03/2016 07:00

Thanks 4ever.

Hope all is well with you.

4everhopeful · 14/03/2016 22:32

Wow, just thinking about it and realised next year will be 10 yrs since first loss, I'm really Shock

Also something that made me really Grin is you saying your Dd is nearly 6 Neeko! It seemed an eternity between us falling pregnant and having our babies and actually it's only several weeks between our girls! Grin Yes, we have certainly come a loooooong way Wink

Hugs and Flowers to you Neeko of course it's our little place of rememberence and we'll always be here to offer a hand squeeze on these days.. Halo So glad we still have this for whenever anyone needs it, I feel strange to mention it much in rl too, we lost our 2nd (or found out) on Dhs 30th birthday, it was his 38th a couple weeks back and literally only came in my head the night before, but there's always little reminders for all of them, and the way we all remember is individual and right for us in our own ways.. Xx So, again, big hugs Neeko, I'd not lurked in a while so really glad something made me do so tonight and I could mark my place Wink xx

Thanks, Moon. Thanks

moonmrs · 14/03/2016 21:34

We never forget, no matter how long it's been. I know I think of my lost two every single day and it don't think I'll ever truly get over them. I have my beautiful boy for who I am eternally thankful, and he keeps me smiling. But of course you can remember the ones who didn't make it, this our little safe haven where we all understand. Hugs to you.

Neeko · 14/03/2016 21:15

Not sure if we still do this or not, but tomorrow marks 7 years since I found out our lo wasn't meant to be. It doesn't feel quite right to discuss it in rl after all this time and after all my blessings, so just having a wee remembrance on here where I initially found the support I needed.
