Well ladies, as requested, let's keep it going, even if it's few and far between! Our little greenhouse still has the door open for all weebles past and present! Smile

I miss all the activity that used to happen here. This place saved me, so I find it hard to be able to let go.

Am I the only one lurking?
Does anyone else still always think about their lost little ones? I've been thinking about them a lot lately, I don't know why.

moonmrs · 01/01/2017 18:53

Happy new year to you all. May 2017 be good to all of us.

moonmrs · 17/09/2016 22:27

It's been so quiet on here. I hope everyone is ok.

We are all good here, I think that finally we are making some progress with J, and dh and I are getting on better. It's been a long, hard few months and I wouldn't fancy ever living those again.

It's our beautiful boy's birthday tomorrow! Three! Can't quite believe it. If I could have looked into the future all those years ago in the dark days, and seen that we'd be celebrating a little boys third birthday, I never would have believed it. I love him so much and am so grateful to have him. He's changed our world do much and I can't imagine ever being without him.
Happy birthday little J.

4everhopeful · 18/07/2016 23:16

Apologies for flying in and not even catching up properly, big waves and hi to chin wow can't believe L is nearly 2and a half! Moon sorry to hear you're struggling and hope the break helped..

Just occurred to me my baby boys 3rd Birthday was on Saturday and I didn't even mark it on here, after being such a large part of the process of getting him here! Smile Can't believe all these years have already passed! He starts nursery in September! Shock

Hi moon, so sorry to hear things are tough with J. It will get easier as he gets older I'm sure. Think you should be on your break with dh now, really hope you have a great time together, and manage to reconnect. Life is so busy sometimes, and full of things you can disagree about, it's so easy just to be irritated with each other. Fingers crossed you have a great time, and that J has fun at your mums Smile

Oh my goodness, your poor friend, I only briefly heard the story on the radio but it made me instantly cry - how absolutely terrible. Can I ask what actually happened? Their poor parents must be beside themselves Sad My heart feels like it's breaking just thinking about it.

All is fine here - C is 9 now and L is 2 1/2 almost, and aptly nicknamed Little Miss Feistypants most of the time. Life is going so fast, have to remember to stop and be grateful for what we have. Lots of love moon, and waves to any other lurkers (haven't gone on the other pages so not seen any other messages than yours moon) x

moonmrs · 08/07/2016 20:20

J still being a handful! Terrible twos I guess, still.... Won't go to sleep, won't stay asleep, up early, been awful. Dh and I fell out and its all been horrible. Have cut out the afternoon nap but although that helps, it means J is a monster by tea time. So hard sometimes.

Had a scare with him recently and took him to A&E with a horrible rash all over, he is fine, no known cause! Was very scary though, looked awful and always happens at night doesn't it.

Having a much needed break tomorrow, my lovely mum is having J so dh and I can have some time out together. Been a bit fraught at home lately so I think we need to remember why we're together again.

While I'm here, I would like to mark a place for the two little children who died in the car accident in Scotland. They were the niece and nephew of a friend at work. So horribly sad, couldn't ever comprehend something so tragic. The poor mum.

Hope everyone is ok, I will try to be back again soon.

moonmrs · 15/06/2016 19:18

I'm here! All ok. J being a bit of a handful again and just seem to be so busy all the time. I keep lurking with the intention of posting... I'll be back soon Smile

Neeko · 14/06/2016 07:13

CheeseAndSprinkleys · 27/05/2016 16:58

Hello Neeko & Moon just relurked this morning funnily enough! Wink How are you all?
Your 40th trip to Florida sounds brilliant! Envy When do you go? I was lol about lists, I'm surrounded by them at the moment, Summers 6th birthday next week and have hired an adventure playground and invited whole class! crazy 7 weeks after that Teddy's 3, just don't know where the times gone?! Shock

Moon your little man sounds like a handful, Teddy's the same and I think it's a boy thing! You sound like your doing a great job though, thank your lucky stars his talking so well cos Teddy's been a bit delayed so think that adds to frustrations, though he's really catching up now, thankfully as he starts nursery in September, which I think will be so good for him.. also he's so big for his age, looks about 4/5 so do get some wierd looks sometimes! Grin

Big waves to Cloud too, so lovely to hear about your little family of 3! Nice you keep up with a few old emmsys, I often wonder how everyone is doing too.. Still in touch with our lovely mermaid, but that's it!

Did my first post in housekeeping yesterday cos I put Teddy's worn but unused night nappy in the washing machine on a dark wash yesterday! Confused White fluff everywhere! Luckily I got it all out! He's fully potty trained and was done in literally a week, he was def ready, still putting a nappy on at night, but he is always dry so gonna bite the bullet soon, yesterday was my incentive to wave goodbye to the nappies forever! Oh and just reminded me of another milestone to share, Summer got her first wobbly tooth on Saturday and it fell out on Monday morning! Grin She looks so cute and adorable with her gappy grin, and felt quite momentous and apt just before her birthday, my little girls growing up! Smile

Hi Moon. How's the sleep going?

Any more lurkers out there?

moonmrs · 03/05/2016 21:54

Haha brilliant! Grin

Neeko · 03/05/2016 21:47

Totally agree about lists. We play a game in the car on our way away on holiday where DH tries to think of something I've forgotten. He never can because I've been writing lists for months. BlushGrin

moonmrs · 03/05/2016 20:21

Thanks neeko. It feels never ending at times. Going away is supposed to be a nice thing and it ends up horrible every time.
Lists are brilliant! Dh laughs at me for making them for everything and so do my work colleagues, but I am the one who never forgets anything so it works! If I relied on my memory I would be lost.

Neeko · 03/05/2016 07:07

Remember DD2 was like that with sleep too? Take heart. It does get better.
I love a list too. Think I have about 20 on the go right now...

moonmrs · 02/05/2016 21:44

He doesn't stop ever! Friends and family always say the same thing, they can't believe how full of energy he always is. He had about 2 hours sleep on Saturday night and he would still not have a nap the next day. I'm exhausted and would have slept all day if I could! I think he worries he's missing out.
Neeko that sounds amazing! I am very jealous! I would be planning away too, it's a trip of a lifetime so you have to get the most out of it! Ooh I do like a good list.
