Well ladies, as requested, let's keep it going, even if it's few and far between! Our little greenhouse still has the door open for all weebles past and present! Smile

Hello Emmsys. It's been years since I've posted on here, but events today have drawn me back.

Not sure if anyone is still reading, but if you are and remember MLS, she very sadly died of cancer today. I am so desperately sad for her 3DCs and her DH. She was the person who invited me onto the Emmsys thread. We were both on a due in October group and then I had my mmc. She was so lovely, even though she had also had a scare around that time.

Just too young to go. Bloody cancer.

Happy birthday to J - they grow so fast don't they! Z turned 5 a few months ago and S will be 9 next week!

Tomorrow will be 10 years since my mmc - the experience changed my outlook on life forever. The memories never go away do they. So grateful to have my 2 babies in my life and forever grateful to you ladies for all your great advice, words of wisdom and hand holding along the way x

moonmrs · 17/09/2018 21:30

This time five years ago, I was pacing the living room floor, and I paced it all night!
My (not so) little J is five years old tomorrow. Happy birthday to my beautiful boy. I love you so much xxxxx

moonmrs · 06/08/2018 21:18

Years not tears. Although there were plenty of tears!

moonmrs · 06/08/2018 21:18

to my favourite girls, lovely to see you all. I still lurk occasionally. I miss the place that this used to be. I think of you all often. My 'little' J is nearly five and starts big school in September. I never thought that day would come all those heart breaking tears ago. Still grateful to you all for getting me through those tough times.

How wierd.. For some reason I'm wide awake and thinking about my lost little ones, 10 years ago for my 2nd and 3rd, can't quite believe it.. So something made me just lurk! How lovely to see such recent activity! Grin S just turned 8 last weekend and T also turning 5 in a few weeks just like yours Sabs! Still pinch myself regularly and counting my blessings! Chin, Moon, think of you all often, even tho its been a while since I was on here! Chin op sounds serious.. Confused Wishing you a successful and swift recovery!

Oooh ladies house renovations! How exciting! I feel your pain re the dust and mess! Just had major work done too funnily enough! New conservatory, and just took out the wall and doors/window so more like extension, we did whole new kitchen refit at same time, great new space, but hell with no kitchen and worksite for a several weeks, coincided that with a complete bathroom refit, which was probably the worst, just a shell and flushing loo with a bucket! Just to add to the chaos I did Teddy's room at the same time! Omg, sooo glad it's all over, but very very worth it! It's like a brand new house! Chin, started end of Feb, and more or less finished by Easter, so about 2 months in all but felt longer! Just the hall left! Confused

Ahhh, hopefully I can go back to sleep now..! Lol! Good old weebles, nice distraction as ever! Wink Xx

Ooh very exciting!!
Ours has to end by mid September. I’m having a big operation at the beginning of October, and need to spend 23 hrs of the day lying in bed for the first month so we really need to be back in by then 😬 Wish we could be a bit more relaxed about it taking longer though!!
How long do you think your work will take?

SabsFabulous · 02/06/2018 08:40

Is starts end of this month / early next month.

When is your work due to end ?

Lamaitresse · 01/06/2018 13:06

It sounds very exciting though - I am trying to focus on the progress rather than the fact that every single surface in my house is absolutely covered in dust, wood shavings and goodness knows what else. It is hazardous in there at the moment! Good luck with your renovation - when’s it starting? x

SabsFabulous · 31/05/2018 23:11

Oh yes how can I forget the dust that will get everywhere and take forever to clean up AngryGrin

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2018 21:16

And the dust Sabs there will be lots of dust 😂 Worth it though!!

SabsFabulous · 31/05/2018 19:42

Hello Chintaria Smile it's Ramadan at the moment so not trying to go on social media as much - but then I ended up on here Grin

Hope the renovation is going well! We're going to be doing a big renovation ourselves soon, new kitchen, 2 new rooms in the loft and moving the bathroom from the ground to first floor. Not looking forward to different living arrangements whilst it's all going on but need to look at the benefits long term !

Lamaitresse · 29/05/2018 18:48

Hi Sabs! Fancy seeing you here 😂 Hope all good with your gorgeous 2?! I haven’t seen you on fb much recently - hope everything is okay?

All is fine with us thanks. We’re renovating our house at the mo so living in the annexe in the garden & all sleeping in the same room which is fun 😆

Love to all x

SabsFabulous · 28/05/2018 23:57

Hi moon 🤗 Did you have a lovely Christmas? How is J?! Hope all is well with you? Not sure whether any of the others still come into MN but I love looking at the conception boards & giving advice when I can!
I really hope you are okay - we are all fine. C is almost 11 now, and L will be 4 in Jan. The time passes so fast it’s untrue! Wish it would slow down a little though...
Wishing you a wonderfully Happy New Year, and anyone else who may be lurking too 😘

moonmrs · 29/12/2017 22:32

Just in case anyone still lurks...
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and best wishes to you all for 2018.
I miss my weebles.

moonmrs · 27/09/2017 19:18

Hi bq lovely to see you popping on! Wow 6 already that's amazing. And I don't think I realised you had another, I'm so pleased for you Smile we've come a long way....

bakingqueen · 25/09/2017 22:37

Hello all hope your all ok. L is now 6 and enzo is 13 months love to you all

moonmrs · 18/09/2017 10:18

Happy birthday to my beautiful little boy, 4 today. We are so lucky to have you. This thread reminds me that we very almost didn't. We are very grateful every day that you came into our lives.

Lamaitresse · 28/03/2017 18:17

And a belated Happy Mothers Day to you too moon! Did you do anything special on Sunday? We normally do the Belgian Mother's Day as that's the one the kids will make something at school for. I always remember my mum on UK MD, and squeeze my two tighter than normal though. It does us good to remember how lucky we are!
I'm doing okay thanks considering... My sil is pg for the first time at 43, she is due almost four weeks before I was, so it's pretty tough. Also my cleaning lady fell pregnant a couple of weeks after me and chose to have an abortion 😢 I'm all for choice, but it's her fourth one, and she has them instead of using contraception 😤 Bad timing for me though, was pretty tough to hear about her plans, then to realise we both stopped being pg around the same time. Not yet sure if we'll try again, would love a third but I'm just so grateful for what we have already that I'm just leaving it to fate and seeing what happens 😊
Is J in nursery full time? When will he start school? Boys can be so energetic - what sort of things does he like doing?

moonmrs · 26/03/2017 21:33

Happy mothers day to all the mummy's out there, of babies past, present and future. Being very grateful for my beautiful boy.

moonmrs · 21/03/2017 19:00

Hi chintaria. I am so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are doing ok, you have been through the mill a bit. I always thought that once I had J it would get easier, but I still think about them just as much as before.

But we are all well thank you. J started nursery in January and he loves it. He's still a handful. I don't know what to do with him half the time!

Hope you and your family are all doing well. A big hug to you for your lost little one.
Thank you for posting. And hi to any lurkers.

Lamaitresse · 21/03/2017 12:27

Hi moon 😘 I do still lurk, but don't often find time to post. I think a couple of the others occasionally lurk too...
How are you doing? Is J okay? And your dh? Really hope things are going well for you!
Yes, I too think about our lost little ones. I don't think we'll ever stop to be honest. It gets easier with time though. I had another miscarriage at 8 weeks a few weeks ago, so am still trying to deal with the fallout from that. Just brings it all back really 😢
Will check back soon x
