early 20's and TTC

Hello,

I've had a look on a few threads i was wondering whether there were any younger groups as the majority are late 20's etc.

I'm not trying to be ageist I just would like to talk to a few younger TTC'ers

How old is DD1, Jorah? How did you find the tiny baby stage? I know worryingly little about babies!

I wish one of my friends would have a baby haha, it's lonely being a young mum at times! None of my friends are anywhere close to having kids, but they all adore DD, she gets totally spoiled by them :)

My parents know we're TTC but only because they keep asking when they'll have another grandchild, they're so excited Grin

I know the feeling. I'm a bit nervous about telling my parents as I think they will be disappointed I'm not concentrating more on my career. I've told one of my friends that we're TTC as she's got a little baby herself and has been joking that I should have one so she can have a mum friend her age, so I knew she'd be excited and supportive!

It's nice to be talking to some younger TTC'ers as i feel like i pester the older ones with questions etc or feel put off commenting.

Hopefully we can get this thread going and support each other through TTC :)

I'm 21, about to properly start TTC #2 (#1 wasn't planned). We'd intended on starting sooner but we've had to delay it as I have an MRI scan this afternoon, but once that's over and done with we're getting the show on the road :)

I have told a couple of people who I am really close to etc but I don't want to tell too many people as you will get the usual.... your too young etc.

We're going to just DTD as often as possible and hope for the best. If no luck in a few months I'll use OPK. Fingers crossed for July/August babies for the three of us soon! Have you told people in RL that you're trying? I haven't, and DH thinks this is odd!

Well I know how you feel there will never be a perfect time to have a baby however, now seems ok and i don't want to be too old I want to be done hopefully having babies by the time in 30 ! so i can relax and enjoy everything.

I am currently using OPK and DTD EOD or if i really fancy it everyday last night i pounced

But i'm trying not to stress too much and just enjoy myself.

How about you?

Hi Jaffacakey (this is turning into a biscuit filled thread!), exciting stuff.

Not sure if it's the best time for DH and I, as we're currently buying a house, both got newish stressful jobs, and I'm going to be throwing some part time postgraduate study into the mix in the new year. However, I don't imagine there's ever an absolutely ideal time and we both want offspring so we've decided to just go for it.

Are you charting or plotting or any of that malarkey?

Im 21 and this is my first month TTC :) me and DH decided now was a good time as we have a stable income, house etc.

Hi, glad you started this thread. DH and I are going for our first TTC attempt this month! I'm 24, had my implant out last month and just had my first period. How long have you been TTC?
