Geek - how embarrassed am I? talk about teaching your Granny to suck eggs! so sorry. Does that mean though that you can solve my problem? I am trying to move my software to another computer without losing my past cycles, how can I move them?

Temp dropped by .3 this morning

yep! that was me ovulating, last thursday on flipping cd 34! no good though cos dh has been away since cd30 so our last BD was cd29! crap crap crap! and such a long wait until our next chance.
i would love 4 kids too 3cats! halfway there i guess! i only decided last night that i would like 4! and it seems to have taken the pressure off this time a bit. sounds daft i know!

MrsMcShag! wow! i bet you are both feeling very pleased with yourselves this month! surely that has to do it for you!

3catstoo · 16/01/2007 15:03

I did have slight pinkish spotting when no 3 was conceived, well just after. Not sure if that was too early though as it was about 3 or 4 days after Ov I think.

It's hard not to symptom spot. I think if you are actively trying and have been for a while it probably comes naturally to symptom spot.

So when do you think you Ovd? Yesterday or today?

I feel like I have time on my hands to think about it but really I have heaps to do but I'm being consumed by this ttc lark. It's constantly on my mind, either am I oving, are we bding at the good times or am I pg.

I'm tempted not to check my temp now until the weekend. My temps don't usually drop until AF has started anyway so my temps don't warn me that AF is on it's way.

Afternoon all.

LL - I think it's me being an only child that makes me want more. 4 would it though. I don't want and won't be able to have anymore after number 4. (early hysterectomy runs in my family and I haven't escaped it. My gyny is happy for me to try for this one and then have the op.)

Not feeling great today. Spotting and dreadful cramps. It doesn't look good . AF isn't due until Saturday either!
I'm sure I caused myself bad luck by ordering another 4 day early pg test yesterday - it arrived this morning too. I had already weed so it didn't get used. Probably a good thing considering.

I do hate it every month when the s/w tells me that the spotting could mean I'm pg. Every month I think 'maybe it's right' but every month I get a few days of spotting before AF.

Sorry, I'm in one of those ranting moods.

I was pleased too, when I saw Ov on Greedys chart. Did you feel that that was it Greedy?
Fingers crossed.

A few of you in the 2ww now. All the best and fingers crossed.

geekInPigtails · 16/01/2007 11:39

Thanks lottie, i'm feeling pretty good about our efforts this cycle, and feel like I've been calmer and more relaxed too - the Christmas hols really helped, though another week or so would have been even better! So just got everything crossed for the next 2 weeks, for you and MrsMcJnr as well as myself!

MrsMc, I'm not exactly your cycle buddy in cycle-day terms, but I think I'm the same DPO as you, does that count?!

I found out that a friend is pg with no 4 today. She took a while to conceive all of the others and was expecting this one to take even longer. She was pleasantly surprised when she fell pg in the first month.
I'm so pleased for her. It gives me hope in a strange way. Also made me buy another lots of tests online . Why does finding out about someone elses pregnancy make me want to test?

BBWBabeLisa · 15/01/2007 10:29

WOW MrsMc, just checked out your chart! You feeding him a diet of oysters or what?

3catstoo · 15/01/2007 10:06

Morning all.

MrsMc - I don't think my DH would ever have the energy for such BDing marathons. Although he may think he would .

How is everyone else doing?

BBW - that does put the pressure on if your DH is away for 6 months. Fingers crossed.
Happy Birthday to your DD. Good luck with your friends little one too.

Well after a weekend of low temps (so low I didn't record them) my temp has gone up to a decent number today.
Ov has been moved though, so now I have longer to wait to find out and we didn't BD on that day either because I thought it was 2 days before.
In the previous 2 cycles I had 2 days of spotting before AF arrived so that should give me a clue if it happens this time.

We went out for lunch on sunday and found a table for 5. DH said "This is the perect number, they don't have any bigger tables, another baby just wouldn't fit!"
Oh no! I think he's going to hit that 'no more' phase again!
Please let this be the month we get lucky.

Off to chart spot now (and to see if MrsMc has yet another heart on her chart ).

BBWBabeLisa · 14/01/2007 23:46

Thanks for the info lottie - will get some B6 asap!
MrsMc - no, DH is home at the mo. HE was in Belize until just before xmas, now he's home til May, when he'll be off to Iraq for 6 months, so desperate to conceive before then.
Had DDs 1st birthday party yesterday which went well. Tomorrow I'm watching my friend's 10 month old, will be interested to see how I cope with to LO's, and whether it puts me off TTC!

3catstoo · 14/01/2007 20:29

WOW !
at your chart MrsMc.
Full marks for effort.

Ready and Lottie - I know, I can't really tell what changed things but I think DH has realised how much pressure there is on me knowing what I do about TTC and how I need him to do his bit. Perfect example was Fri night, when I got home from work, our neighbours wanted us to go round for a few drinks, DH and I agreed to go for a few but I told him before we went that unless he agreed before we went to BD when we got home, I'd be worried all evening that it wouldn't happen and so he agreed and even though we stayed many more hours than we planned, I did relax because I knew he knew what the plan was when we got home. It makes a massive difference having him on side, I just hope it lasts!

Have to say, because we are doing all we can, I have not been stressed at all. My temps are all over the place but I have had good cm and a couple of positive OPKs so I am pretty sure I have or will OV today. Let's hope I can keep up the calm over the wait, especially as I am away on business and flying again just before "the news" .

Sorry LL to hear that you and DP are feeling the pressure, it is very real though so allowing yourself to feel it is part of the therapy I think. Hope DP is a good boy over the next few days

I always nose at the charts, and when I saw yours MsMcJnr - I must confess I said "bloody hell" - that is some serious effort!! Way to go.

MrsMcJnr · 14/01/2007 11:52

Hey chart spotters!! where are you all? have you seen my chart, how happy with my DH am I this cycle? gets best supporting role in my book!

Had a quick look at the charts last night, all seems to be ticking along nicely. Greedy, I hope you don't have to wait as long to know what is going on this cycle.

OP posts:
MrsMcJnr · 12/01/2007 08:56

Hi Ladies how ar you all today?

Greedy - sorry to hear about DH being away at the crucial time (if it is) the long waits you have must be so frustrating for you, I do feel for you. That said, you just never know so I am keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway. DH says his back is a bit sotre sometimes but there are no pains in his leg now so the op does seem to have been a success. Today is his first day with no meds at all so we'll see how he gets on. Thanks for asking.

BBW - sorry that this cycle wasn't to be, so glad that you are being positive about it. Is your DH back in Iraq now? it must be so hard for you. Sending big hugs.

Londonlottie - hope you had a great trip, sounds like you had fun!

3cats - haven't had a chance to have a proper chart spot but will do so over the weekend and come back.

Ready - chin up hon, there is rarely a right time to have a baby and just think, it would be a great way to get to know lots of people in the new place that you live, you might even find some friendly Mumsnetters living near you, you never know! I look at my beloved house and the room that I always thought our first baby would sleep in and I know now that that is not going to happen but I know that wherever we are, it'll be a home because we'll be a family! hugs to you too.

Hello Cityangel and Geek - better go to work now I suppose but more from me over the weekend - have a good Friday ladies!

I'm really sorry to post a random mope on this thread... and being only an honorary member I feel even more guilty, but I don't want to post it on the monthly thread as most of you are not on Feb (and I hope that you don't get there)

I am down down down today There's a big chance that DH may be changing employers in May/June and we may well have to relocate again - goodness only knows where. Just as we have got our house the way we want it too I am not even sure if a pregnancy would be a good idea with all that possible upheaval. Oh I am so stressed out, it's pathetic. Do you think it would be a good idea to put ttc on hold until the summer?? My head tells me we should, but my heart and DH are telling me that there is no sense in waiting and seeing. BLUB.

Apologies for hijacking

BBWBabeLisa · 11/01/2007 15:17

Greedy - I get many days of EWCM before ov, so maybe you will be holding off ov'ing a wee while.
AF arrived this morning. Oh well. Telling myself it's a blessing really coz if I'd been pregnant this cycle DH would definitely still be in Iraq when baby was due.
Should I be concerned about a 9-10 day luteal phase?

3catstoo · 11/01/2007 14:03

Greedy, you could still get EWCM for another 3 or 4 days. Does that give DH enough time to get back and get BDing?

Glad you said that about CP MrsMc. Mine does differ alot and can move up and down in a day. I didn't know it could dislodge the EWCM, I might stop checking now.

Greedy, it does take a while to 'get to know your cervix'.

I'm not sure what's happening to my temps. As far as they are concerned there is no obvious temp hike to signify Ov. Maybe I haven't Ov'd yet as I was stressed about it.
The software has predicted Ov for the 7th Jan based on the +ve OPK. I guess it has nothing else to go on.
I did have CM dry up though, I think!

My DH didn't know about the Pre seed until the next day when I admitted to it feeling rather embarressed (sp?) that we hadn't BD'd as he was fast asleep when I got into bed!
I didn't find it created that much moisture though. I expected to be lying in a puddle as we hadn't made use of it but you would never know it had been there .

I have a week and a day before AF could be due. Next Friday. We have visitors all weekend so if I don't test on Friday I will have to wait until Monday afternoon. That is if AF doesn't show up first.

Big hugs to everyone and lots of babydust.

greedyforbabies · 11/01/2007 13:38

guess what i STILL haven't ovulated, BUT i have ewcm today which is bloody typical! normally i would be pleased, but with dh in New York there is not a lot to be happy about! i was hoping to hold off from ovulating till next wed! AAAARRRGGGHHH! cd 34 today!

greedyforbabies · 10/01/2007 22:19

hello mrs! hope you had a fab time! nice to have you back! your BD record is looking good for this month so far...i take it dh back is all recovered! how are his symptoms now? was the op a complete success? we did lots of BDing, but unfortunately i haven't ov'd yet and dh went away last sunday so it will be another crap wasted cycle for me. have fun chart spotting! i know you like to be thorough so its goign to take you a while to catch up on all the various threads!

snowy - dont know if you still check on here...and i guess you would be sunshinedays again now...is thst right?.....but i am really sorry to see that af arrived. hope you aren't too down about it. x x

MrsMcJnr · 10/01/2007 21:41

Hello, hello ? finally I have got on to post to you all!

Hello LondonLottie hope you enjoyed your time away I bought some pg tests at the airport to take with me but they came back again unused I am never precise with the pre-seed. I use about half a tube per session and sometimes it is 30 mins before and others about 2! DH doesn?t know ?we? are using it!

Hello 3Cats ? how are you finding the pre-seed? We?ve used it quite a lot and it?s fine to use but has not done the trick yet but there?s always this cycle I know what you mean about having more EWCM in the past (I got none at all last cycle ). I remember thinking there was something really seriously wrong with me about 10 years ago.

Hey there Greedyforbabygravy ? thank you for missing me hope you?ve managed the deed this cycle with all that BDing, fingers crossed. I did used to check my CP but when I heard that it needs to be at the same time of day cos it moves and that it can dislodge EWCM etc that should be there, I stopped. Plus, I am retroverted so it was pretty hard to do anyway.

BBW ? hello stranger!! Fabulous timing with the EWCM, fingers crossed hon!!

Hello Cityangel ? I know what you mean about the getting up times, take a look at mine! still I figured that it wasn?t important for me at that stage in the cycle anyway.

Hello Ready sounds like you got all the answers you were looking for

Hello Geek ? how are you doing?

Off to chart spot?????..

there is a link to the radio thing on another thread, i started to listen to it and it sounded really interesting but then i got harrassed from all angles by my kids!
it was posted by duchesse on the 'thread for the down at heart and lacking in optimism!' not that i have been on that thread of course....never!

i am now on cd 33 and my temp went down this morning so my tiny rise a couple of days ago obviously wasn't indicating ovulation. the last BD we had was sat cos my dh has been away since then, so its a bit desperate now to hope there is still any sperm lurking IF i do ov tomorrow! so now i am hoping NOT to ov until my dh gets back! which, unfortunately isn't until next tue! i bet now that i dont want to ov i will, its sods law isnt it!
3cats - with the whole cervix position thing....how should it feel when you are fertile? and how long does it stay like that? and does it take a while to get used to how it feels normally? and what is the best position to check it in? WOW! questions questions!!!!!....and i thought i knew all about TTC!
