Geek - how embarrassed am I? talk about teaching your Granny to suck eggs! so sorry. Does that mean though that you can solve my problem? I am trying to move my software to another computer without losing my past cycles, how can I move them?

Temp dropped by .3 this morning

I can't do it, for whatever reason i just don't seem able to book the holiday. Think i will wait and get a last minute deal and wait until after my op and cons appointment just in case we have to go private for further treatment.

Natty1806 · 08/02/2007 12:20

We have had a good 5 inches it has finally stopped now.

Hi mrs - yeah am better today, had a good cry yesterday when i got in from work - lets all the stress out. so feeling much better today. Am just about to book my holiday that will give me something to look foward to.

When you planning to move to spain?

Get somewhere big enough so i can come and visit

xx

Ready · 08/02/2007 12:01

We have no snow. SULK!

greedyforbabies · 08/02/2007 11:51

good news 3cats! i really hope you are right! i am off to look at your chart!

MrsMcJnr · 08/02/2007 11:47

Very envious of all you with snow, we have a spattering but nothing really

Like the sound of your day Natty you know, it's funny, I haven't even thought about telling my boss, mat leave etc. It all seems so far away and with the house still to sell and our move abroad on our minds I guess we are just trying to work it all out. How are you feeling?

3cats - feeling positive sounds good fingers crossed!

How are you Lottie? I miss you! I don't seem to be able to chat to you as much as before these days

Hi Greedy. I'm here, only for a bit though as I have my DS and DD1 at home as school is closed.

I hope it lasts as I love having them at home.

How are you feeling?

I am feeling strangely positive about this cycle. Not sure why. I hope I don't get a nasty shock next week.

Natty1806 · 08/02/2007 11:10

Yeah, got to work and turned round, boss was out on his mini snow plow doing the drive.

Just took the dog out for a long walk, off for a bath now.

greedyforbabies · 08/02/2007 10:56

wow its quiet on here today! everyone snowed in?

Natty1806 · 07/02/2007 13:30

me too. Not too bad at work but it is on my mind alot.

Bet your already planning when to tell the boss, when to start maternity leave etc. Must be very exciting. x

MrsMcJnr · 07/02/2007 10:58

I hope it doesn't get too much worse Natty. I don't know how you manage to concentrate at work with all you have on your mind. I am finding motivation a bit of an issue at the mo! Not good in a new job.

Natty1806 · 07/02/2007 10:53

Thanks Mrs

I know i will get there one day even if i end up adopting, times are hard but am sure i will have to get through worse to get there at the end.

xxx

MrsMcJnr · 07/02/2007 09:38

Oh Natty, my heart really, really goes out to you hon, it's good news that the op can hopefully go ahead and I just know this'll be what makes the difference for you. You know where I am, happy to chat anytime. Great weight loss by the way. Well done.

I didn't go to SS last week cos I was ill but I've spoken to my teacher and she has revised rules for me that I am picking up tonight. I might be imagining it but I think I have lost a couple of pounds. Of course, I've not been drinking but I am just wanting to eat more healthy food too - just don't want anything sweet other than fruit.

PMSL at the noise of the pre-seed, know it well I always used 1/2 a tube too.

Geek - both my sisters have PCOS. The older one has 2 little ones which she conceived really quickly but she did radically overhaul her diet and lost weight to get down to her ideal weight when she was diagnosed to minimise the impact.

Thanks

Yeah been reading my info sheets from hospital and if there is any chance i could be pregnant then op will be cancelled so having a month off.

Going to focus on losing weight (lost 4.5lbs in Jan) oh and probably getting rather drunk

Will still temp just to see if i do ov without the clomid even though the new drug may stop ovulation?

xx

Ready · 06/02/2007 20:06

Oh Natty, I'm so sorry that you are going through all this. ((hugs))

greedyforbabies · 06/02/2007 16:58

natty you poor thing. guess there isnt much you can do at the moment with ttc is there. will you ov this month or not? and does the drug stop you being able to concieve this cycle? if it does then you can have a chilled out month with no clomid and try and focus on other stuff until your op. sorry its all so tough for you, its not fair is it.

3cats - sounds like the best timing ever to me!

3catstoo · 06/02/2007 16:50

Greedy - we bd'd the day before the +ve opk and the day of it too, didn't manage the day after though.

Glad the gp was kind Natty.

Afternoon Ladies

Got to Doctors and it was full of mum's and dads with there tiny new borns ready to have there jabs.

Got to see gp who was like crossing his fingers as i walked in hoping that i had good news at this i burst into tears and felt a right idiot.

Anyway he has given me the drug i think ready mentioned i take that on CD14 up until my operation and hopefully will stop my period and i will come on shortly after operation and can then take my final month of clomid.

He said i could go and see him anytime and unload my stress which was nice.

Feel very emotional at the moment with this period.

Oh well fingers crossed i fall shortly after operation and that is the end to all this stress.

Thanks for thinking of me

greedyforbabies · 06/02/2007 15:54

feel like i WANT to try preseed now just to see what its like! we always used baby oil (i know its not recommended!), but i did find that on my really fertile days i tended to be juicy enough without anything!

3 cats - 1 positive opk sounds fine. you might have just missed the lh surge the day before and then caught the tail end of it when you got your positive opk. i think you would prob ov the day of your positive in your case. did you BD much round then?

natty - so sorry about af. waiting to hear what the gp says

geek - you are far too busy for your own good!

3catstoo · 06/02/2007 15:05

If we can't talk about these things on here where can we.

I have to get these things cleared up but I certainly wouldn't tell my RL friends, ha ha ha.

Thank you for responding with your own experiences though.

geekInPigtails · 06/02/2007 14:57

You're all disgusting!

Natty, I think I'm just into my 8th cycle of trying, though it may be 7th, I'm starting to have trouble remembering! How depressing is that... Well when I saw the doctor 9 years ago I did a blood test, so it must have been pretty certain that I at least had ONE cyst, but given how regular my cycles have been since I think either I had PCOS and it's gone away, or I never really had full blown PCOS and just had one or two cysts... (sorry if TMI!) But not being medical or knowing anything about what the blood test is actually detecting, I could be being overly optimistic.

Sorry guys, haven't had time to chart spot in ages, and still don't now! I'll try to come back this evening and have a look.

Ready · 06/02/2007 14:08

I had been thinking about giving pre-seed a go... not sure I want to now

Natty1806 · 06/02/2007 10:41

I use half a tube but find it hard getting it all in and hate the noises it makes - not very romantic. x

That's what I thought about the opks too MrsMc.

Sorry about AF Natty.

I can't seem to get it right with the Pre seed. This time I used the whole tube. I think it may have been too much as DH was slip sliding everywhere and it took 10 times longer than usual to get the job done . I think it effected the sensation for him, iyswim. He found it quite funny really.
It seems like there is nothing and he gets very sore or theres too much and it takes forever. I'm so unfit!!!

How does everyone else get on with it, if you don't mind me asking?
