Anyone ttc baby #2?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, ttc baby #2 (1st cycle) and already driving myself wild with the tww. I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was so relaxed about baby #1 that the constant nagging thoughts about am I / aren't I are completely new to me and are making me feel anxious with symptom spotting.

Thought I'd see if there is anyone to talk to on here as my husband is quite matter of fact about there being nothing we can do to find out except for being patient - I know, he's infuriating right.

It'd be great to buddy up if anyone else is in a similar position.

Gx happy birthday to your babe! Xx

Peyia · 24/11/2015 13:25

I've been a bit quiet since last week. Generally feeling blah which is good but yesterday had a scare. Got refereed for a scan this morning and all is well. I saw likkle ickle heartbeat which made me feel on top of the world. The pain was due to a cyst. Just better to be safe than sorry. The nurse was lovely and didn't trivialise my worries. So fortunate to have experienced that as I hear some women get dismissed.

Anyone ttc baby #2?

Congratulations Mrs! Lovely news Flowers

Welcome newbies Smile will be looking out for your bfp's!!

mimi how are you hon? Fingers crossed your spotting is a good sign!

JP I have a feeling this bfp is going to creep up on you!! It's probably the ideal attitude to have during the tww. Just think naaaaah it can't be due to early pregnancy. Then BAM!! I hope you get an early Xmas pressie!

Ferret Let's see how your lil one likes his sibling when he brings a pressie out the womb for him Wink my friend unborn daughter is bringing a bike for her big brother. Unnecessary but anything for a quiet life I say!

Figgy Awww sorry hon. So frustrating! I'd be like you, would be peeved about my £4!! Maybe get some guilt free POAS internet cheapies?

Good luck everyone xxx

Hello everyone, sorry to have disappeared for a bit.

Congratulations mrs!

Jp I'm wishing you lots and lots of luck.

Sorry figgy, hope you're ok.

Becks sorry you've not been feeling well, I hope that eases for you.

Can't remember this month what cycle day I'm currently on but we've just started dtd eod again and will do it for the next fortnight as I still don't know whether my cycle will continue at 35 days or go back to 28. Weirdly this month I sort of can't be chuffed with it all. Not sure what that's all about but I know getting the BFNs has felt shit so maybe I'm protecting myself a bit by letting go slightly. Anyway, I'm sure I'll obsess as usual as the time for AF approaches!

Kellz92 · 23/11/2015 23:01

Good luck hun x

OwlinaTree · 23/11/2015 22:30

Hi all, cycle 2 here. Think ewcm is starting out (tmi I know!). Think I'm cd 13ish. Taking a slightly relaxed view this month, will be fab if it happens but if not at least I can enjoy the festive season fully!

Mimilicious013 · 23/11/2015 11:49

Hie there ladies.hope u had a pleasant weekend.enjoy your monday and all the symptoms that come with ttc.i have my nausea and cramps again bt i guess it comes with this ride of wanting a baby.

Pineapple80 · 23/11/2015 11:12

Congrats MrsL! Exciting times Smile and thanks for the welcome. AF did eventually start - was hoping spotting was implantation bleeding too but I did have it in my first pg and it was way lighter. Anyway CD3 for me, bring on ov lol.

Thanks Kellz, welcome to you as well. Fingers crossed for all of us Smile

Gx91 · 23/11/2015 09:48

Jp - that's what I had said just before I got BFP , I was like "let's leave December out so I can't enjoy food and wine " and think I jinxed it!
Maybe u will be the same haha can't wait to find out ! Either way at least h won't b too bumbed this time and like h say a nice new year clean slate ! Wink X
Sorry figgy , hope the Christmas chaos helps take ur mind off everything it will be next month before u know it and time to test again ! Maybe ur Christmas gift will b falling pregnant this time , wishing u all the best xx

Kellz92 · 22/11/2015 20:49

Thank you for the welcomes, im hoping you are a lucky group! I need some luck :)

Figgygal · 22/11/2015 20:07

3 days late tested this afternoon got a bfn and now AF is starting im more annoyed at wasting £4 on a bloody test. Was just about to get hopeful. Oh well on to month 11.

jp0303 · 22/11/2015 19:51

I love your question Mimi, when is my bfp due, I always think about when AF is due - maybe that's what I should do, be more positive to get a positive! So, my BFP is due on Sunday (I'm on cd22)! However, if AF arrives instead, I'm considering having a month off ttc over December to accommodate lots of excessive festive fun nights out without any nagging worries about drinking too much or eating the wrong things. Dh may not be happy about that though so I'll think about it a bit more to make my mind up either way before I talk about it with him. Then I would be reinvigorated in the New Year and think I would start using the OPKs to try and help things along.

I never notice any pain when I'm ovulating. I did for a couple of months after giving birth but nothing since. My main indication is getting v enthusiastic to dtd! Nature's way of helping it all along I guess. Maybe it is ovulation then Mims.

You'll have lots of time to get ds back on board Ferret, things like getting him a little something from the bump for his special occasions while you're pregnant should help! That's so cute that he wanted to move in with you! Aren't kids lovely.

Be kind to yourself Becks, I'm sure ds has loved the extra tv time. In the scheme of things it's a very short time and you need to look after yourself so much right now. The benefits of her having a younger sibling in terms of her life lessons and development in her childhood will far outweigh a few months of extra Peppa Pig or whatever she is in to.

Mrs, congrats on ur BFP ! It's a corker ! GrinFlowers xx

Becks - shame about the severe morning sickness, and don't worry about letting the we one watch tv , Iv been feeling the sm bn super busy during the week and wkend so whenever we are bk home I let her watch to so I can relax ! X
Mimi - cud well b ovulation ! Lots of woman get cramping and twinges around about then , can't remember if I did ..
Mibi worth buying a few cheapies just to check X

MrsL2012 · 22/11/2015 19:14

Mimi still early days and you have symptoms so fingers still crossed for you! Figgy any news yet? Becks hope your sickness goes soon and look forward to seeing your little grape!
I don't have any symptoms yet excel for needing to wee lots! Hope the sickness doesn't start any time soon....xx

beckslovestimmy · 22/11/2015 18:04

Jp I feel like I've not been the best mum to DD in the last few weeks. She's watched a lot more TV than I'd normally allow. I've been rubbish at work too. I hoping it'll start to improve around 12 weeks

Mimilicious013 · 22/11/2015 16:54

Don't worry Fancy ,he will come around when the new baby is born.just make sure you make him feel important(helping around ) being big bro.
I googled and found out that my symptoms could be down to ovulation.anyone feel pains while ovulating.unfortunately im not using opks so can't be certain.

fancyferret · 22/11/2015 16:30

Not sure JP he wanted to have a baby brother or sister a while back as he said the baby could have his room and he could move in with us!! I think he has changed his mind as not impressed at the thought of sharing toys fickle so and so! Any news Figgy? -my ears pricked up at the possibility of another potential BFP. cd10 is early Mimi so try not to be too disheartened by a negative test at this stage especially as you have symptoms.

Mimilicious013 · 22/11/2015 15:54

Welcome Kellz ,hie there Fancy. Aaah Jp ,that thought crossed my mind because i really feel pregnant but just poas and bfn so no explanations for why i am like this on cd10.Lucky you have had an easier tww,the symptom spotting drives one insane .what cd are u on now and when is your bfp due?

jp0303 · 22/11/2015 15:37

Oh dear Ferret, why the change of heart for ds do you think?

OP posts:
jp0303 · 22/11/2015 15:18

Aah Becks how exciting- a little grape! Sounds like it's been a rough ride with the sickness so far, glad the meds are working. How on earth have you managed feeling so poorly alongside looking after your dc1?! Nice to have your scan coming up before Christmas.

Mimi any chance it was implantation bleeding before and not AF? Was it spotting type bleeding or heavier?

My tww has been non eventful in terms of symptom spotting. I've been hungry and eating lots, but I'm putting that down to it having got so cold, and other than that, no symptoms. I have had a nap today while ds napped, which I rarely ever do, but that's because I'm tired from going out last night and having a really late night rather than early pregnancy exhaustion.

Yeah I think you should test too Figgy, but then you know me for loving all the POAS action Grin

Welcome Kellz, hope the board is lucky for you (we're a lucky one dontcha know!)

Baby dust all round!
