Anyone ttc baby #2?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, ttc baby #2 (1st cycle) and already driving myself wild with the tww. I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was so relaxed about baby #1 that the constant nagging thoughts about am I / aren't I are completely new to me and are making me feel anxious with symptom spotting.

Thought I'd see if there is anyone to talk to on here as my husband is quite matter of fact about there being nothing we can do to find out except for being patient - I know, he's infuriating right.

It'd be great to buddy up if anyone else is in a similar position.

I know the last month of pregnancy is the worst! Just feel so fat and useless and just want baby out! Lol hope it's not a hot summer or i could b really uncomfortable by the time I'm 8 months! Xx

Kellz92 · 01/12/2015 20:51

Gx hubby works nights but i woke him up far too early hut when he knew i was ovulating he didnt mind lol.

Because i was so far on, i had a glass of bucksfizz. But i was so fed up i wasnt in the mood anyway lol. Xx

Gx91 · 01/12/2015 14:05

Congrats kellz ! Ul b busy tonight again then lol Wink wishing u luck if ur trying to get pregnant this cycle! X
Ur right about being sober at Christmas , gona b tough if I was past the 12 wk mark I'd have 1 glass of fizz but won't b so no alcohol full stop this year xx

Kellz92 · 01/12/2015 13:32

Jp thats rubbish hun sorry.

Gx being sober at Christmas is rubbish. In 2012 i was 8 months pregnant at Christmas, so could barely enjoy my meal as Keira took up my whole tummy lol.

Well a wee update i got my positive opk today yaaaaaaaay xx

HoggleHoggle · 01/12/2015 11:23

Aw jp that's rubbish, I'm so sorry. But definitely yes to boozing up for Christmas! Also the early pg stage is just such a worry (it was for me anyway) that you can at least now totally enjoy festivities without having a nagging anxiety. I'll be telling myself the same thing if it doesn't happen this month.

I've also made mince pies so I'm well and truly feeling Christmassy (in actuality I was also hiding in kitchen for warmth as we currently don't have a front door. Brrrrr)

Gx91 · 01/12/2015 09:01

Hoggle - that does sound like a great start to the day ! Think I'm gona put the Christmas classics on today u have really got me in the mood ! Smile we r on the countdown to Christmas ! [santa] Grinx

Jp- sorry AF arrived Sad but ur right , u can make the most of of the Christmas celebrations ! I'm going to really miss the prosecco , wine and baileys Sad and being stone cold sober around the drunks lol new year fresh start sounds so refreshing aswell and I'm sure the OPKs will help u too xx

jp0303 · 01/12/2015 08:37

What a lovely start to the morning Hoggle, particularly after a good nights sleep Smile

AF arrived, so that's me out. On the bright side I'm going to making the most of the festive season and Christmas parties[santa] Winethen I will be going on a health kick in the new year and getting on board with the OPKs.

Christmas baby dust all round.

Thanks mimi and g!

Had the 'night off' yesterday and ds slept so much better so feeling more positive for tonight.

In other positives, ds just opened an advent calendar for the first time and the radio is playing Christmas songs. Hard to be down with things like that Smile

Kellz92 · 01/12/2015 00:31

Hi all, hope youre all okay! Cd13 here and still no positive opk, just faint second lines. But a few days to go. Plus after all the waiting to ovulate i will end off with an impatient wait with my tww haha. Xx

Gx91 · 30/11/2015 19:57

Jp- I bought the cheapy ones from savers ( 5 in a pack for £1 )
Nice and cheap and work just fine , saves a lot of money if u don't know ur cycle length and nd to pee on one eod xx

jp0303 · 30/11/2015 19:34

Thanks everyone. This is cd30 and I have had cycles up to 35 days in the past, so perhaps it's a long one and AF is just a few days behind schedule. I have no idea when I ovulated. I will start using OPKs in the new year, any recommendations about which ones / best ways of using them would be much appreciated if anyone has any wisdom to share.
