30-something first time TTC and looking to buddy up!

A bit about me: I am 33, have been with DH for 8 years but only got married about 3 months ago (and started TTC as soon as we got back from honeymoon!). We are now really keen to start a family... and already getting impatient with all this hangin' about!

Hi there
I'm 38 and got married in July, we also started ttc as soon as we got back from our honeymoon. This will be our third month ttc so even though I know it still early days its hard not to worry why it's not happening.

I can definitely relate to that I-want-it-to-happen-but-I-am-scared-it-might-happen feeling. But not having to worry about contraception for the first time in my life definitely has its upsides :). Welcome aboard!

I think I'll be joining you shortly, I'm also 33 and we've said that as soon as we get back from holiday in 3 weeks we're going to throw caution to the wind and see what happens! It'll be no.1 for both of us, I won't be stopping the pill until we get back from holiday so keep telling myself it will take months but then I've read quite a few threads where it's happened within a few weeks and have started to panic a bit!
