Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

And that's far too many typos for one message! Clearly I need sleep!

(whips a rope avocet head then throws a lasso around lou and reins her back in)
Whoa there, darlin' - deep breaths. Could be something, could be nothing. Like most pregnancy symptoms they are very similar to AF symptoms. Not saying Dr Googlr is wrong of course but we are here to help. FX'd together than ever for you and wishing away the days til testing

Ohh Pom - could the three day bleed be implantation bleeding rather than period? Was it a normal period or lighter? I don't know what's possible with our bodies anymore!

Prty, to be honest prior to ttc I generally avoided looking at my foof, but felt damp today which felt unusual so had a wee peek.. I've been asking Dr Google and I'm deffo pregnant I've decided, I've also been on the nhs website and used the calculator to work out due date, I've turned into a proper foof looking loon.

MummyBex1985 · 31/08/2015 21:48

Shary just a quick cheeky week, we've been every year for the last five years so a week is enough Wink

pom unfortunately I've learned anything is possible. Some women get tints of blood during OV, or if it's an IB post OV. Otherwise it could just be crazy foofs. Wink

pomBearPooPouffe · 31/08/2015 21:37

Hmm. Bloodstained EWCM a week after the end of a 3-day period that arrived a week early. Are 18-day cycles possible?

PrtyPsn · 31/08/2015 21:25

Yep shary sore nips can be... I had that a cycle or two ago, not a usual sign of AF for me but nothing came of it (sigh)

OP posts:
PrtyPsn · 31/08/2015 21:24

Check the rules lou no such thing as TMI here Grin do you nornly have CM changes at this stage in cycle?
To be fair I don't announce that I'm planning/am POAS just creep off to the bathroom early morning then tell him after - apart from last month when I was totally convinced and told him to come straight home from work so I could lol!

OP posts:
SharyBobbins · 31/08/2015 21:23

Wow Florida Bex! How long are you going for?
If being an irritable cow is a symptom then I have post-ovulation/TWW symptoms! I also have sore nipples- do they count?!

Lou13e · 31/08/2015 21:13

Prty- think I'll test when he's at home but not tell him until after I've done it, good compromise.

Mummybex - I'm well impressed with your double holidays, way to go!

Tmi alert... I'm about 4 to 5 days off AF but have noticed a white discharge, good sign or bad sign, I'm still off coffee and feel I can smell more but.. I'm probably imagining all these symptoms, wah, wish I could fast forward

PrtyPsn · 31/08/2015 21:05

Not sure if it's a symptom or just a sign of a busy day hosting but I'm absolutely shattered - like I can't even keep my eyes open. Was up early though and had guests... idk
Dinner tonight was takeaway - garlic bread with cheese

themoo · 31/08/2015 20:34

Ooh Bex I'm envious! Haven't had a holiday in years - and now we've just bought a house that needs a lot of work, so none on the horizon either!

themoo · 31/08/2015 20:33

Evenin all.
I took my mind off my bfn by painting two ceilings, one and a half walls and a seemingly endless amount of filling and sanding.
BLT and chips tonight, and a big glassowine. Feeling a bit happier.

MummyBex1985 · 31/08/2015 19:02

So we got back from our holiday yesterday... And just booked a last minute trip to Florida, just DH and me! No better cure for the holiday blues!

Leaving three weeks on Saturday, don't think there's any chance I'll be PG so I'm just going to relax and enjoy the holiday planning to take my mind off TTC.

Exciting Grin

PrtyPsn · 31/08/2015 18:56

pinky everyone's different but each BFN OPK was like a giant kick in the foof to me.
lou this is an intervention!! Put the sticks down and flush that pee before you're tempted to scoop it out!! I always test when OH is home, we never formally agreed it but I feel like I'm depriving him if he's not around and I know he would be gutted if we didn't find out together.

Pirsy1 · 31/08/2015 17:44

Step away from the tests Lou! I've had a negative at 10 dpo today - ruined my bank holiday! Wait till tomorrow at least and do it on FMU. I do my tests on my own - husband has never asked to do it with me, don't think he really pays that much attention to know when I should be testing etc. I think it's quite sweet that he wants to do it with you and would be lovely if you got a positive together :) but can see how you'd feel under pressure too!

Lou13e · 31/08/2015 17:29

Please can someone shout at me and stop me from thinking of doing a hpt - it's too early!!

Also, my other half is at work, he wants to do the test together, am I really selfish at wanting to test by myself? I just don't want the added pressure as scared it'll be negative. What does everyone else do? X

Lou13e · 31/08/2015 17:20

Shray - apparently a slice of fresh pineapple (including the core) once a day for first 5 days after ovulation helps implantation but don't have pineapple at all after that

SharyBobbins · 31/08/2015 17:10

Oooh thanks for sharing Bex! xx

pinky17 · 31/08/2015 17:03

That's just it Prty I can imagine a negative OV test is just as bad as a negative pregnancy test! I'll give it some thought if still bfn after next cycle.

Starting to get a bit of af cramping (think that must be what it is!), back ache from making too many shapes on the dance floor last night and severe irritability (could be af or tiredness!) DD was at my mum's for the night and I actually had less sleep than when she's at home!

Stripes1983 · 31/08/2015 16:58

Ditto Prty - brought Amazon cheapies and thought the same , although my friend - who is 20wks pg used them and they worked for her but maybe I /we got a bad batch lol , I've still got a lots left and even though I threw my toys out the pram and said I'm not using them I know I'll hear the call of the OPK's " come on pee on me" when I'm around fertile time !

MummyBex1985 · 31/08/2015 16:54

shary I compiled a list of fertility boosting foods from various sources which I now keep on my iPad ;)

My diet mainly consists of....

Blueberries
Kale
Red peppers
Fish
Spinach
Potatoes
Broccoli
Beef
Prawns
Yogurt
Raspberries
Olive oil
Orange juice
Eggs
Asparagus
Salmon
Peas
Mangoes

In no particular order as I just write them down when I come across them lol.

PrtyPsn · 31/08/2015 16:32

That's exactly what I did pinky job lot from eBay but I was going insane so stopped them, might be a vicious cycle though - didn't wanna pay a lot cos not sure they would work/help but maybe cos they were cheap they didn't work and I got cray cray on them and stopped :/

[Bobbins] your shopping list strikingly resembles mine! I just believe all things 'good' will help. Plenty of fruit and veg - basically nothing nice! [Chops up boring salad for work tomorrow]

I'm starting to think about OPKs or temping if it doesn't happen next cycle, I think i'll end up driving myself mad with it though. Might purchase some cheapy OV tests and see how it goes. If I go too crazy I won't do it again!

SharyBobbins · 31/08/2015 16:11

Ooh all this talk of food is making me hungry!! Like Pinky I had left over pizza for dinner. Healthy eating starts tomorrow...ehem....(kidding myself)....

Currently doing my online food shop. Added grapefruit juice because I read somewhere (not on this thread I don't think but I could be wrong) that it increases CM. Anyone know any fertility boosting foods I can throw in my basket along with the chocolate, crisps, cake....!!

Stripes1983 · 31/08/2015 16:05

I feel your pain with your cycles - not got a scooby what's going on with mine , keeping everything crossed for you Hun - the founding member of the foofs !:)
