Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

What up, crew?
Lots of activity today!!
I was thinking about godmother over the last few days... not heard from her since AF started :(
Welcome flowers you are definitely in the right place!
pinky one fast birth doesn't automatically mean another, plus you know the signs this time :)
Meanwhile I'm a hormonal wreck - crying over non-emotional songs and deleted my FB in temper :/

Welcome flowers! You have definitely come to the right place. I find I'm so much calmer each cycle since I've been coming on here. That doesn't stop me feeling hopeful at the odd symptom but I'm more likely to come here than enter the dangerous rabbit hole of googling symptoms - in my second month of trying I'd convinced myself I was pg cos I had conjunctivitis! Pull up a chair my love, it is excellent in here xx

Stripes1983 · 02/09/2015 18:03

katy sounds like your getting the support you need fx you can get going soon !:)
flowers welcome ! I think most of us have been where you are at some point along the way , for me my first 2/3 cycles were the worst and i have calmed down a lot - until AF is over a week late then I flip to crazy again ! But I've found this a good outlet :)

Lou13e · 02/09/2015 16:47

Mrsflowers... Sit yourself down and have a handful of malteasers, I thought I saw a chocolate orange before but prty has hidden it, hmph.

Anyway, we are all with you, we are all slightly mad but most importantly were here to support each other

themoo · 02/09/2015 16:14

SQUEE pinky!! How lovely xxx

Am on full AF duty here today so I MUST EAT ALL THE THINGS.

Hugs for everyone xx

MrsFlowers82 · 02/09/2015 15:05

Thanks Life. I am just having a down day as I know I am out for at least another cycle. Instead of hoping for myself this month I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you that AF stays away.

Ella thanks for the welcome Maltesers – just what I needed even though I have been scoffing the office biscuits today! You are so right about focusing on something too much, but no matter how hard I try not to or tell myself that it’s probably nothing, I can’t bloody help it! That’s why I have enjoyed reading this thread, it’s nice to know that I am not the only one on this completely weird and hopefully-soon-to-be-wonderful journey Smile

Ellamorella · 02/09/2015 13:37

Hi everyone!

Firstly, woo hoo! Huge congratulations Pinky!!! So happy for you! And glad you, Prty and MummyBex will be sticking around to keep us all in check/urge us on!! It really does help having this network of virtual friends!

Welcome newbie!! Sorry, I'm on wrong page in iPhone, and can't remember your name!! But welcome, you'll be in the right company here, lots of maltezers!! Smile

neetie sorry to hear about your BFN, I feel like I learnt from last cycle not to trust these pesky 'symptoms' too much. I think if you focus on something too much, you notice all sorts of weird feelings and sensations! Although you do seem to be having a right old time of it. Once this cycle is over, hopefully you can go into the next one feeling stronger and like you learned something!!
Btw godmother if you're out there, I hope all is ok? Hope you're feeling a little better after the BFN...

Nothing much to say on my front. Still trying to keep up the healthy diet, no coffee, but am indulging in the odd G&T it's medicinal!! I'm pretty sure I'm near or at my fertile peak, about 3 days of EWCM and cervix high and soft. My hubby is off to Canada tomoz for 8 days, so am hoping we can fit the ol' DBD at least a few times before he goes... Wish me luck!

Sorry for the long post - again! I must try to post more little and often, so don't need such a big update!

LifeIsGood14 · 02/09/2015 13:19

Wow wee!!!! Congrats pinky !! So happy for you. :-)

Welcome MrsFlowers and do not appologies! You have every right to have a moan. This TTC lark is blummin hard!

So.. Last night I had the tiniest bit of blood after i had a bath.. Though ey up, she's arrived! But today still nothing really. I can't count it as AF so perhaps just a little spotting.. My days app says I'm 4 days overdue AF. Clue says 3 days...

Dum di dum ....... Hmm

MrsFlowers82 · 02/09/2015 12:01

Hi all steps out from behind the pillar I’ve been lurking behind and waves nervously

I have been reading your thread for a couple of days (attracted by ‘foof fun’) as I have been feeling a bit down in the dumps by this TTC lark this month…

Feeling really teary today as I don’t feel me and OH have done enough this fertile window. He has "been tired” (don't even get me started!) and I think we missed my ovulation day. Just feel so down that I have to wait YET ANOTHER cycle.

I also feel a bit drained of the constant symptom checking and Google searching (despite swearing that I would take it all as it comes!) – “Is this EWCM?”, “is that a cramp in my ovary?”, “WHAT DOES IT MEEEEEEAAAN?!?!?”

I am 33 on Friday and am sure that is getting to me. Plus the fact that an old friend from school just posted a pic of her newborn (third child) on FB, which she has named using MY choice of girl’s name! She wasn't to know but still: Envy

I am so sorry to step into your conversation and moan, but you seem like such a lovely supportive bunch and I don’t feel I have anyone in real life I can talk to about this stuff Blush

Katytatiepot · 02/09/2015 10:35

Well back from the hospital. Doctor said that the cyst on my ovary hadn't changed since my previous scan in March which is a good sign but have officially diagnosed endometriosis (which they pretty much had previously!) They were happy with me to officially start TTC and said if I'm not pg in 6 months to go back and they'll begin investigating further. Doc said that basically she's prescribing lots of sex for 6 months - much to OH's great joy - and to keep my fingers crossed. She seemed quite hopeful. So if only AF would arrive I could really begin this journey!!

Lou13e · 02/09/2015 09:58

Aww, course you can stick with us pinky, I think the foof gang combined would make a lovely set of god parents personally :-)

I caved in, I poas and got a bfn, serves me right... I'm still 4 days from my period so going to hold off now and get my oh to hide the sodding sticks, not giving up hope yet but still hmph!

pinky17 · 02/09/2015 08:27

Well as long as i'm still welcome i'll stick around too! I looked at some other threads but this is like a community! Too many nice people!

I can't be sure when I ovulated as I didn't track it, total fluke. My last af was 30/7 and Ovia said I was due 29/8 but bfn when I tested. Bfp only showed 4 days after af was due. Creamy CM but I get that before af anyway so had no idea!

Excited but scared as had a quick first labour, so quick there was no time for pain relief so am paranoid this one will be quicker and i'll give birth in the car!

I hope you all get yours soon, would be lush for us to do it together! Xxx

MummyBex1985 · 02/09/2015 08:18

Congrats pinky! Amazing news Flowers

Nice to see you'll be sticking around prty - have to confess I think I will be too, if I'm not the last man standing lol!

If I don't fall PG this month we might have a TYC break, I'm a bridesmaid at a wedding so if I fell PG next cycle then I'd be due on the day of the wedding lol!

Katytatiepot · 02/09/2015 08:06

Stripes well done for going to the docs, it's not easy when you know you might not get the "well everything's fine and it'll all be easy" conversation. Got my gyno appointment at 9.30, dreading it!!

Pinky Wow!! Congratulations!!! So good to see a BFP here!

Prty glad to hear you'll be sticking about - we need our fearless leader to keep us going!

I went back to work yesterday after a lovely summer off and I just know AF is going to arrive to make things all the merrier. And since I've not had a period in aaaages I know it'll be a nightmare one. I've had a few twinges and had a dodgy stomach yesterday (I have IBS that's triggered by hormones) which is usually a sign AF is due. And although I'm dreading how bad it could be, I want it out the way so I can see what's happening with my cycles now I'm off the mini pill. Hope the gyno understands I'm TTC today and doesn't try and put me back on it.

Pirsy1 · 02/09/2015 07:51

Congratulations Pinky! Wonderful news!

Stripes - glad that you had a good experience at the doctors. I have decided that we will be going in the new year if nothing has happened.

Prty - loving your commitment to getting us all our BFPs!

I am feeling bloated and a bit crampy today so think gearing up for AF which I'm expecting to arrive on Friday. Have looked at the calendar and think my September fertile window is going to coincide with DH going on a stag do, grrrrr.

PrtyPsn · 02/09/2015 06:55

Woo hoo pinky that's fantastic!!! Over the moon for you, my lovely xx
Confession time - I'm afraid I won't be moving on when I get my BFP... I know a hell of a lot about pregnancy and birth, a ridiculous amount. I just know nothing about TTC. I don't intend to use MN past my BFP except to hang here and make sure every one of my gang gets through - no foof left behind!

Stripes1983 · 01/09/2015 23:56

Pinky humongous congratulations - such good news ! I feel we all needed a BFP on here to spur us all on !! So exciting !! Xx

LittleAindy · 01/09/2015 23:16

Oh it's just so (sniffs) bloomin (sobs) glorious!! A toast to Pinky! Please all stand and raise your un-pissed-on sticks.

Hurrah!!! A perfect excuse for a 2nd glass!!

Yes, I really need to stop the weekday drinking and MN lurking, and start thinking about filling my evenings with DTD, now that AF has finally fecked off (10 days later)!).

The holidays aren't over until 23:59 tomorrow.... (tips head back as far as possible for last two drops) Somebody please remove this 5ltr box of Merlot from the premises!

Annie2311 · 01/09/2015 22:49

Yaaaaaaaaaay! Congrats pinky! Marvellous stuff xxx

Lou13e · 01/09/2015 22:42

Woop wood!! Let us see the stick please :-) very excited for you. Tell me all your vital detail again please... How many days post ovulation? When was period due? How long have you been trying?

Yes I'm a nosey cow but need to know x

pinky17 · 01/09/2015 22:34

Here you go Aindy, the cheapy and the "proper"! Very much in shock so am using my last test tomorrow to make sure it's 100% right! I'm such a pessimist!

Pinky!!!! Wahoo! Got any pissy stick pics to keep us going, and strengthen our faith in Eka??

Good luck, and farewell! Flowers

pinky17 · 01/09/2015 22:17

Well..... ladies..... slightly in shock following a bfn on Saturday (then a rather big "feeling sorry for myself" drinking session on Sunday for OH's birthday!), for some reason I decided to test tonight and got bfp!!! Did a cheap Amazon one completely off the cuff then sent OH to Sainsburys to get a "proper" one and got my line straight away! Very excited/scared/anxious but also very sad as I only want 2 children so know this will be my last ever time :-(

I wish all of you the most luck in the world and hope to see you all in the next forum. Prty you must come up with next quirky thread so we can all reunite and celebrate spring babies!

Lots of love, luck, baby dust, maltesers, toblerones, virtual/imaginary alcohol to all!

Until we meet again xxxxxx

PrtyPsn · 01/09/2015 22:12

Cling away annie we are stronger together - we can make it!!

Well done stripes! For going to the Doc and for talking about how you feel in the safety of the foofstival. Only a stupid doctor would ever think you stupid for worrying so you've obviously got a good one.

Sorry to hear your day ended shittily prty. We're a week away mate and I'm clinging to you all the way xx
