Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Prty everything in stages - we can't be super women all the time Wink Holiday is definitely a free zone, did you go anywhere nice?

AGAIN KittenPie you've hit the nail on the head, it's not like I'm asking he do the cleaning FFS!! I have also found it hard the past few days to stress the importance and why we HAVE TO DTD NOW - mood killer or what?! Also fed up but at least we are part of Prtys gang now Smile

PrtyPsn · 02/09/2015 21:00

It's not been easy flowers and did have a little cheat while I was on holiday in June... need to sort out my diet really but then I'm just too weak, especially without the booze!

MrsKittenPie · 02/09/2015 20:59

mrsflowers - lol - bloody men! It's not like we're asking them to do something they don't like! I couldn't believe it when dh was saying that last week - I'm so fed up that's yet another cycle gone now. He just doesn't understand

MrsFlowers82 · 02/09/2015 20:52

Very impressed Prty although I find carbs just as reliable!

You lot are helping already! Here's to a lucky thread Star Star Star

MrsFlowers82 · 02/09/2015 20:50

KittenPie what you just said sounds exactly like my life right now! I was also hoping for a birthday BFP and my DH is also sulking for being treated like a sperm bank! To the Cake and Wine I now go, it's a lot more reliable! Wink

MrsKittenPie · 02/09/2015 20:50

Thanks prty! That's good to hear Grin, a bfp for us all will be amazing! Im not leaving without a bfp Smile

MrsKittenPie · 02/09/2015 20:46

Hi mummy - yes it's been tough. I've got a ds who is 3 and that happened within a few months so it's a struggle - feel like I'm broken. But you lovely lot will definitely help!

PrtyPsn · 02/09/2015 20:46

annie I say symptom :)
flowers been abstaining since March (sigh) did do the carbs though!
kitten welcome, my lovely, you are more than welcome here :) we will all get babies - by any means necessary I'll make sure of it!

Hi Kitten and welcome Smile 14 months TTC must be rough, don't blame you for wanting some company!

MrsFlowers hope you're enjoying it lol. I think a boozy holiday last week has completely put me off alcohol!!

Prty I resisted deleting my Facebook when seeing yet another PG announcement today - decided to settle for poking my phone screen in an angry rage congratulating the happy couple instead....

MrsKittenPie · 02/09/2015 20:41

Hi mrsflowers ! That sounds like a good plan for your birthday- that's exactly what I'll be doing too GrinWineCake
My dh had exactly that wobble too last week - he said I just want him for his sperm!! So I've go no chance for a miracle birthday bfp Sad

MrsKittenPie · 02/09/2015 20:36

annie - thank you Smile
Mmmm - definitely symptom!
I'm a total fb hater - never had it and can't understand the obsession with it, would definitely hate seeing scan pics and pregnancy announcements so glad I've never bothered

MrsFlowers82 · 02/09/2015 20:36

Thanks for the support and warm welcome! I'm on my phone now, so please excuse the short reply and any typos!

KittenPie it's my Birthday too! I plan on escaping all the TTC thoughts for a weekend filled with Cake and Wine

Prty I often want to delete my account, especially when my feed seems to be non-stop baby posts! I hope you are feeling calmer and have wine/chocolate/carbs to hand.

MummyBex I am on my second glass so clearly drinking your share of the vino! You can thank me later Wink

Shary can totally see how DTD can become a bit of a chore. Think this is actually how my DH has started to feel hence my wobble this week! It's odd when you know you are doing it for a reason isn't it?!

Annie2311 · 02/09/2015 20:27

Question: Mouth ulcers- symptom or scurvy?

Hi kitten, welcome to crazy town!

prty FB is a minefield of beaming babies for me at the mo, best avoided! Xx

MrsKittenPie · 02/09/2015 20:11

Hi ladies!
You are a lovely bunch Smile - can I join?
Am fed up and need some support and fun chat, I can bring chocolate and cake Cake
Been ttc since June last year and not a sniff of a bfp Sad
It is my birthday this weekend and I will be an old bird of 38 so the panic has well and truly set in.
I've been lurking but tempted to join when you said everyone will get a bfp- I need that positivity!
Anyway - hello everyone, looking forward to the crazy chat!! Xx

MummyBex1985 · 02/09/2015 19:58

Ooh and I just realised I'm on day 4 of being on the wagon. Surprised I haven't missed my usual post work glass of wine!

PrtyPsn · 02/09/2015 19:57

Oh and re: DTD, probably, sperm can live up to 5ish days in CM depending on health, quality etc. think most fertile windows are 5-6 days

OP posts:
MummyBex1985 · 02/09/2015 19:57

Lol shary if it was six days ago I would say you're okay to have a break! Grin

PrtyPsn · 02/09/2015 19:56

Probably not shary not with any degree of permanence- might do to save all my pics and videos but once I've done that I might delete it totally, I don't use it much anyway and no one seems to have noticed I've gone and it's been about 8 hours...

OP posts:
SharyBobbins · 02/09/2015 19:50

To be honest Prty you've done what I've wanted to do many a time before! Can't be arsed with FB at the moment, much happier jumping on here to see how all you ladies are doing! Do you think you'll reactivate it in the near future?

Stripes I felt so relieved after having that initial chat too. A bit nervous as after tomorrow I can't live in blissful ignorance anymore (who am I kidding- as if it's been blissful!) but I'd rather know if there are any issues I suppose!

Right confession time......I'm sick of having sex. I've DTD every other day, and everyday around the time of ovulation, and I want a break!! Can I stop now?! My LH surge was last Thursday!

PrtyPsn · 02/09/2015 19:33

It's embarrassing shary the app wouldn't load properly so I got annoyed and deleted the app but that didn't seem final enough so Iogged in on my PC and deactivated my account... yeah, temper... I almost deleted it completely but then I would lose my photos etc and was too furious to back them all up!

OP posts:
Stripes1983 · 02/09/2015 19:31

Ahh that's good to hear bobbins let us know how you get on ! I've got a couple of weeks until I can go get bloods done but feeling better about having the initial conversation !

SharyBobbins · 02/09/2015 19:24

Oh my word I disappear for a day and loads of things have happened!

PINKY!!! Huge congratulations to you!! Fantastic news!

Stripes well done for going to the GP. I suspect I'm in a similar position to you. I thought my GP would say to come back when it had been in year but he was pretty much "43 day cycle? I want your blood now!". I'm having them done tomorrow which is cd33! If I have ovulated it'll be 6/7dpo.

Katy I'm glad your appointment went okay and you're getting some support. A prescription of DTD eh?! Lucky OH!

Welcome Flowers! I came in to this thread a bit late too but so glad I found these supportive ladies.

Prty I'm intrigued about you deleting FB in a temper? Did you see something which upset you?

Not much to report here, I think my temps are still high/rising but I've had broken sleep for the past three nights so they're not very reliable. I'm guessing bloods will confirm ovulation either way so I probably don't need to take temping as seriously this cycle...xxx

Stripes1983 · 02/09/2015 19:01

Well hope you come through the other end and still keeping everything crossed for you FOTF (founder of the foofs) xx

PrtyPsn · 02/09/2015 18:57

(stops juggling because arms hurt and hands out chocolate oranges to all)
Bah! Who knows?! I've had a couple of rough weeks and maybe it's all come to a head? DBAFD 7 so could be PMS...

OP posts:
Stripes1983 · 02/09/2015 18:50

Aww Prty ( just sneaks one segment out of choc orange) bloody hormones ! Are you normally this emotional .... Or could it be a symptom !
Hope godmother is ok too, we were cycle buddies ( well before my wacko cycle this time) hopefully she just needed some time out
