So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

emz depends what you deem cheapies... I use Asda, 2 tests for £3.59 and have a couple of FRER stashed in case of a faint positive. Thing is if I get the urge to test early I just buy more Asda ones to 'waste' rather than eating into my stash
3WW sounds like hell, we are all here, lovely x
lou I've been feeling a bit... unwell I guess. A bit stomach buggy but no actual sickness, it comes and goes daily - a kind of churny belly like the start of illness interspersed between AF type cramps. Reckon I'll be pole axed by a bug at the weekend :(
Thanks for sharing pinky I've not got much faith as was convinced last month but we all know how that turned out :(
Will have to think on the DTD stories... just via I'm so bloody fabulous at it that I'm sure it's never been anything but mind blowing

I'm in total shock!! BFP!!! I did the clear blue digital test eeekkkk! It was so weird though because I dreamt last night that I did a test which was positive but the test was like a computer and it told you all about weeks and development! Haha

Hi lovelies.... Just back from a late shift at work and wanted to say a little hello to my cray Cray girls. Prty - my cat (teddy) is following me round more than usual too, weird hey? He's also only coming to me and not oh.

Just a quick update on my symptoms.. Was awake from 4am last night with heartburn, I was also driving on blue lights when I felt a burp.. I thought I'd let it out being not v lady like.... But it was vom!! I managed not to be sick over myself but it went up my nose, yuk! Have been feeling sicky all day so possibly a bug? Also still got white creamy CF and 2 days until AF due.

Sorry not to catch up individually but hiya to the newbies xx

As for DTD stories I think I'll wimp out and let someone else post first before I reveal my most cringey DTD moment ;)

Prty do you use cheapies to test? I was just thinking if you did maybe you should buy more expensive tests to try to help you resist?

I've decided that I'm going to wait to test until 22nd sept (unless I see AF) which will be my hubbys birthday. As I don't know where on earth I am in my cycle! So I'm kind of on a 3ww.. Not sure how long I'll last before I cave in!

whilst we await BFPs, OPKs, AFs, bloods, EWCM, and cray cray symptoms, anyone up for a little distraction?? Any DTD stories - crazy, cringey, funny, scary, dull? Rituals? Tips? A little entertainment might keep us going!

FOTF ( Prty ) - they do sound very promising symptoms!! Fx!

Prty I had to comment, your symptoms sound just like mine before bfp! My back was, and still is so painful! Plus I literally dribbled down my top when I went to speak to OH a few days ago! Gross! Thankfully he didn't notice! I didn't have sore boobs either, they just started feeling very full! I often get a couple of spots before AF but last week my face erupted! I'm practically troweling on foundation and concealer!

Everything crossed for you, when are you testing?

Lots of love to everyone, it will happen eventually. Those seeing Docs, it's one step closer, they're there to help you. Must be daunting but i'm sure they'll support you and answer all your questions/worries.

(Slopes back behind the sofa cushions with and an alcohol free koperberg!) Xxx

Exciting prty !! I'm the queen of obsessive testing so totally understand! Every month I tell myself not to bother until af late but as it gets closer i act like some kind of testing lunatic . I admire anyone who stays calm as I can't!

Not sure... I'm still 6 days off AF being due, got really eager last month and a teeny bit obsessed with testing so trying to remain calm this cycle!

Oh and shary I very often find myself shouting at the TV when stupid comments are made like that - people don't have a clue about this making babies lark and how bloody difficult it can be!! I hate it when they just presume. My dh's cousin has announced to the family that she is going to have a baby with her new partner next year - I feel like shouting 'oh really?? Cause it's that easy isn't it?!!'

Hahahahaha oh shary I would have done exactly the same!! 'Yeah, just pop some kids out when you fancy it, easy as that, you delusional normal person!!'
I've also lost the plot... become convinced that my cat thinks I'm pregnant :/ he's normally sociable but always chooses to sit/sleep on the spare bed or our sofa - the last 3 nights he's curled up on my lap, he never does this. And it's only been me, he won't sit anywhere near OH... bit weird...

Kitten- Stripes post (hi Stripes!) just reminded me, when my GP arranged for me to have bloods he said "we'll talk again after they are done" so I expect I'll get called in too. It's probably just to do policy.

Just so you all know I've officially lost the plot! Just watched Location Location Location and the house buyer was rabbiting on about needing 3 bedrooms for when she has babies (she didn't have kids and wasn't pregnant). I ended up shouting at the TV "you think getting pregnant is soooo bloody simple don't you!! You don't have a clue woman!!". OH looked scared lol!

Been a crazy day so only just been able to check up on how y'all doing ! prty - fx the fluids are a positive sign ! neetie sending hugs lovely xx welcome to the newbies ! shary I'll prob be the same as you when I go for my bloods but at the minute I'm feeling positive that at least someone is listening to me and we both seem to be getting good support and that can only be a good thing kittens try not to worry too much, my Dr said she would want to see me anyway when results come in as if they are low we may need to do again due to my crazy cycle so it might not be bad news and life fx to you too !! Sorry I'm sure I've prob missed someone out but hello if I have ! :)

In other symptom spotting craziness my lower back is aching beyond belief and my face has exploded in spots :/ even OH asked when the soonest I could test! If I'm not pregnant then I'm in fit the worst period ever!!

Lol prty, I feel the same. I woke up this morning and had to wipe a tonne of drool off my face (always sexy) and then earlier today I needed to pee, so went upstairs went to the bathroom looked down at my pants and they were wet? Not soaked but a damp patch the size of a kiwi..!? I wasn't desperate for the loo and I don't think it was pee..? Wtf is going on D: My body is leaking.....

Neetie I know how you feel, I've taken several OPKs throught this cycle always coming back negative. It gets too disheartening.

Thanks also mrskitten it was tough but after being told we'd never have kids due to my health and meds I need for life- but getting pregnant proved it was possible - hoping for a less active one next time (DH is an awesome at tying knots so clearly DD1 would have been the same!) Trying not to count too much this month as had a steroid shot last month and that can affect AF. Everyone I know seems to be pregnant at the moment and they poke digs in my direction... Things will hopefully get more positive for the lot of us soon

Thank you prty the spotting started Sunday/Monday.. It's not been much at all. And it's brown. I will probably test in the morning as DH is working away this weekend. Will keep u posted xx
