Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

P.s thanks everyone! I feel a weird lack of emotion, I've not cried, I'm happy but shocked, it's weird

Lou13e · 07/09/2015 12:34

Prty - I'm keeping everything crossed for you, we can hold each other's hands! Regardless though, I'll still be here talking to everyone xx

tay13 · 07/09/2015 12:24

Yay to everyone with BFPs!! Congrats all! Grin had a busy weekend so for the first time in months I feel better about the whole TTC thing. Hubby doesn't finish training until Dec then has another stint from Jan til March.. Realistically I can't see it'll happen until we see each other more than once in a blue moon... But it's just lovely to know other people are getting there! Smile 5 DBAFD... Been thinking about my new knee more than a baby.. Feel oddly pleased about that lol

prty keep those fingers crossed, sounds like v similar symptoms to what my sister had before she found out she was preg with niece xxx

PrtyPsn · 07/09/2015 11:37

Woo hoo!!! That's fab lou congrats, lovely xx
AF due in 2 days... I don't feel like I'm about to start but no idea!

EEEEee!!! I go away for a weekend and come back to BFPs! Congratulations!

Nothing to report here, but to be expected after sperm strike. Cycle day 24 and just waiting for AF so I can begin again! Although, we have also decided to start looking at moving. Got estate agents coming round Saturday to value our place. Think it will do us good to think about something else for a bit.

Prty I am sorry you are feeling blue but remember you are not out yet. FX for you xxx

Annie2311 · 07/09/2015 10:55

Lou! That's amazing! Congratulations xxx

Lou13e · 07/09/2015 10:51

Prty, keep your fx hun. When af due?

I erm have some news... I poas this morning and got two bfps!! I'm stunned and speechless, the symptoms all make sense now, thought I was losing the plot.
Oh is made up and we're both a bit scared. We've got a week off together this week so going to let it settle in a bit. Eek

PrtyPsn · 07/09/2015 10:33

Who even knows?! No real CM, went completely last night, a very small tinge when I wiped this morning, still feeling stomach bug/sicky, no cramping though, bloody fed up!

Annie2311 · 07/09/2015 10:30

Cheers chum. How you doing today?

PrtyPsn · 07/09/2015 10:00

Oh no annie that's crappy, still hanging on for you though, you never know x

Annie2311 · 07/09/2015 08:35

Such awful tummy pains! All night long. Think AF is imminent. Sad

Ellamorella · 06/09/2015 23:35

Hi all! prty, sorry about the BFN, but as Aindy and Bex pointed out, you've still got time for a BFP, you're not that likely to get a BFP 4days early anyway. Still crossing my fingers for you, and if the bitch does show up, we're all here for you!! x

PrtyPsn · 06/09/2015 21:45

aindy my backs much better, eased off this morning, thanks :) x
Strangely enough my weird discharge has disappeared, I'm so confused!
I don't always tell OH when it's time, sometimes I mention it in passing or as a funny quip about 'making a difference this week' sometimes I say nothing, I have before told him when I've been worried we haven't done it enough and my womanly guiles haven't been as tempting as a warm bed and comfy pillow!

LittleAindy · 06/09/2015 20:40

Pirsy big hugs Flowers we're here to share the pain. Free brownies here on the September wagon (occasionally wine, if you can grab it in time). You know this is THE place to come for breakdowns Smile

Prty - plennnnnntttyyyy of time, yet. How's your back now?

Well, I appear to be getting the same odd cramps as last cycle (tops of thighs/hips). I really hope it doesn't last 3 weeks again. They only stopped once AF arrived!

I think that TTC men suffer from the equivalent of PMS. It's POS (Pre Ovulation Syndrome). They all seem to have their bitchy meltdowns at the crucial times. So I've decided not to tell OH that I could well be in my fertile days a week earlier than expected, and see if it makes a difference when the pressure is off...

PrtyPsn · 06/09/2015 16:44

He was disappointed shary but he's really laid back and positive, he knows it will happen at some point and it doesn't seem to faze him... if only we could bottle that!!
I don't know much about LP but remember reading 14 days was average but 2 either way was considered normal

OP posts:
SharyBobbins · 06/09/2015 16:16

Hmmmm, just read that a luteal phase of 10-16 days is considered normal (I thought it was 12-16)....anyone know much about this?

SharyBobbins · 06/09/2015 15:36

Prty sorry to hear you're feeling so low today. How did OH take the BFN? Told hubby earlier that I think AF is pending & he looked/sounded disappointed. I'm really hoping it hold off until Wednesday/Thursday because then I'll be 12/13 dpo which means I'll have a luteal phase which sits in the 'normal' range (I suspected it was 9-10 based on my last cycle).

Welcome back Prisy!

PrtyPsn · 06/09/2015 14:48

Hi pirsy nice to see you checking in :) sorry you had such a rough time, perhaps a holiday is just the tonic

OP posts:
MummyBex1985 · 06/09/2015 13:43

Or religiously!

MummyBex1985 · 06/09/2015 13:43

It's a great distraction! I haven't thought about TTC anywhere near as much when I've been planning holidays.

(Says she, religiosity checking the same thread lol) Blush

Pirsy1 · 06/09/2015 13:22

Thanks Bex. I think Florida seems like a good choice because it looks like there are lots of things to do ... I'm quite happy to sit on a beach, but my DH doesn't like that! I'm going to get some annual leave booked off tomorrow and then get planning. This is going to be my distraction from constantly googling TTC stuff!

MummyBex1985 · 06/09/2015 13:15

Pirsy we go to Florida (Orlando) every year just for between a week and ten days Smile if it's your first time you would definitely need 2 weeks to see what you want to though.

We have stayed in almost every Disney property and two Universal hotels so give me a shout if you need help there :)

November is a lovely time to go! Usually pretty quiet and still nice and warm without any rain or being crazy hot and humid.

Pirsy1 · 06/09/2015 11:41

Hello,
Sorry I have been away for a few days. Had a mini-breakdown on Thursday when AF arrived ... lots of tears and 'I'm never going to get pregnant!' Feeling much better now and looking forward to trying again this month. Lovely to see the BFPs on the thread whilst I've been away!

Sorry about the BFN prty ... it seems so unfair that we spend the 2ww building our hopes up and then the BFN comes when we're pre-menstrual and emotional!

I've decided a holiday is needed. I'm looking at November and have been thinking either Mauritius or Florida. Does anyone have any suggestions? Bex do you have any recommendations for Florida?

Annie2311 · 06/09/2015 11:01

prty, we've all been there with the early testing! I definitely would have done the same given your symptoms and wanting to test with OH xx

PrtyPsn · 06/09/2015 10:52

Thanks lovelies x
annie meant that it's my fault for testing early... and kinda for hoping
Tried to distract by painting the garden fence, worked ok at first but now my neighbour is on her garden on her phone talking gossiping about some 'silly little slag' who's saying she had an abortion but she knows it's not true cos she's had one, then she starts telling her friend on the phone step by step what happened when she had hers... which is totally her choice but sounds to me like she's bragging about it... heartbreaking :(
