So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

neetie sometimes men just need to do what they are told haha!
stripes the freedom from OPKs is sometimes worrying but enjoy it, trust your body, it will all work out :)
In Prty world news, a family member has ominously randomly set up a gathering of the family today... if it's a pg announcement then you can find me at the bottom of a massive keg of beer :/

Morning ladies !! So first cycle on not constantly Peeing on a OPK so don't really know if/ when I'm ov but it should be sometime this week or next so trying to keep up with DTD ! Fx to all those on TWW !

Morning well didn't manage to DTD last night..he was too tired..
This morning though..(still tired) managed to convince him, not very romantic but I think he knows we need to get past that lol
Anyways one app said thurs for ov and the other app says today so pretty much covered for those... although think it may have been earlier in week when boobs were sensitive (never has that for ovulation before so hoping a good sign) but if it was that was covered too. So back to TWW, just wish we had started earlier so the age related conceiving thing wasn't an issue..

Hi all, I've never used lube either, so I would have been the same.

DH is finally back from Canada!! Me and DS are about to go an meet him for breakfast on his way home. Yay!!

And on another positive note, just realised I'm on CD 20 already, meaning only 4-6 days to wait now. So really glad the wait is almost over. I've been having a lot of cramping for about the last week. I'm not sure what that's about. I'm hoping it's not anything sinister. Trying to stay positive!

Good luck to all DTD tonight - and enjoys your weekends. We've got a day visiting friends in the countryside today, so looking forward to that! x

Ok, so I definitely need this Bible, if nothing else just to keep me positive and stop me getting so frustrated!! Cray cray foof let me down big time (perfect timing, cheers!). Only something that's happened on the rare occasion so don't have lube to hand unfortunately! First thing I looked up this morning was Conceive Plus, but the price made me wince. Maybe I'll just wait until AF arrives and buy myself a period present lol!

Sorry for the self indulgent, woe is me post. This place is like having a diary! I don't want to reveal the full crazy to OH, it'll just put the pressure on. I just needed somewhere to vent!!

Just need to keep my chin up. We are in no rush (28 and 33), we have a beautiful 4yo son, and we've only been trying since April this year. I think it's just a case of poor timing with irregular cycles, and we don't exactly go on a full shagathon each month!

Hi girls. Been a while, I've been abroad working. So pleased to see more BFPs!! Smile
Typically the in-laws are staying this weekend and my opk today is a near-but-not-quite positive so we'll be doing stealth sex until Sunday (duvet on the floor anyone??) at which point we can relax and go back to normal.
AF this month was the worst ever pain-wise, didn't know what to do with myself. Fx for this month! I'm almost at the 2ww... Prepare for epic symptom spotting.

Hugs and bitsa wispa (on offer in tesco so chow down my friends) for everyone x

I'm under the impression that as long as the lube goes 'down there' and 'inside' it should work! I just assumed that putting it on OH meant more went in! Give it a go ladies, you never know it might be the thing that makes the magic happen!

Don't worry shary I've never used lube before and unless there were explicit (hehe!) instructions I probably would have come to the same conclusion as you!
AF is clinging on, trust OH to look so irresistible tonight too (sigh)

Hahaha Pinky well I've never used lube before so I told OH he was supposed to put it in on me! He just went along with it thinking baby-making lube was somehow different! Oh the shame!! Blush

So AF arrived this morning with a bang and the worst period pain I've ever experienced! I have painkillers, chocolate and wine for tonight. Try again next month!

Shary I'm hugely intrigued as to how you were using the lube! Hahaha! Apparently it boosts your OH's swimmers, whereas 'normal' lubes can create a barrier. I used it with DD1 and conceived her first go, used it this time and it took 3 cycles so maybe I'm a lucky one or perhaps there is a bit of truth behind it and it genuinely does work! I should be an advert for it the way I'm rattling on!

Pahahahahaha! Aindy "'The Baby Bible' is literally Bible stories for babies." This has made me laugh on a very dull morning in the office!!

Oh and bex if I'm running low on sticks or think AF might have started I pee in a glass then wipe just to double check there's no sign then dunk a stick after if no AF, saves a stick sometimes and every little helps!

Ordered your the book Ella, hopefully it'll arrive during AF to help me think positive.

Prty I think the lube mimics EWCM so if you get a lot of that anyway you might not need the lube. It's to help the swimmers swim!

Thanks Aindy! Yes, Neetie it's a great book. I can't tell you it's worked for me...yet, as I'm only in my first cycle after reading it (well, I'm continually reading it, but you know what I mean). But it makes the whole thing feel less stressful. Loads of practical, natural tips. It diagnoses your "fertility type" based on sets of questions, then gives you tips to help. Plus lots of relaxation techniques, yoga poses etc...

Nothing much to report for me! CD 18, AF due in 8 days. My left boob is feeling tender and sore, and I'm getting mild cramping. I'm to try and remember this for next month. I'm trying to visualise it as my uterus lining getting nicely thick in readiness for implantation! Positive visualisation from my book!!
