Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

digs around in pockets and pulls out 2 soft and slightly misshapen Celebrations - here you go Tay and Bex

Whose turn is it to bring the treats? Don't tell me we're abstaining now...

LittleAindy · 15/09/2015 12:46

Oh Tay, that's dreadful. I'm so sorry you had to experience that. Some people absolutely astound me with what they find acceptable to even think, let alone say out loud. Big hugs for you Flowers

No need to apologise for sharing. This is the best place for it.

Where are you at with TTC? xx

MummyBex1985 · 15/09/2015 12:41

tay vent away! It sounds like she knows you are trying so that was pretty insensitive of her. Easily done when you fall PG at the drop of a hat.

Prty I may be rebuilding the chocolate mountain and diving in head first, cramps have turned into crippling stomach pain Sad

If anyone needs me, I'll be sat in the corner with my head in a vat of wine. You're all welcome to share.

LittleAindy · 15/09/2015 12:41

guiltily reaches out and waves hand from underneath a mountain of wrappers "Save. Me..."

tay13 · 15/09/2015 12:31

Just when I felt I was in a good place with TTC, my sister announces she's 8 wks pregnant with her second! Mini meltdown yesterday to say the least Sad I feel bad because I know I should be happy for her, but she got pg on her first month of trying. She smugly says about how easy it's been both times, here's me on a form of chemo meds to control rheumatoid arthritis and then she says "maybe you shouldn't have kids if you need joints replacing" that on top of my next door neighbour informing me that when we lost out DD1 last xmas at 21 weeks due to her tangling herself in umbilical cord she wasn't actually ever going to be a real baby... She's 50 with 4 kids.. Don't think she could really understand where I'm at. Just having a blah day, hard to shake off feeling sad. Hoping everyone else is doing better than me, sorry for the vent!

Ooh Neetie unless you've gorged on a 5 course meal, I'd say a warm belly is indication of 'activity' going on down there!!

neetie1 · 14/09/2015 20:44

Yes very...

MummyBex1985 · 14/09/2015 20:42

Lol neetie is a warm belly a new symptom?! Grin

neetie1 · 14/09/2015 20:19

Oooo my belly is sooo warm...

neetie1 · 14/09/2015 20:03

Yay Stripes cycle buddies :)

Stripes1983 · 14/09/2015 20:01

Snap neetie I'm on CD17 too !!

neetie1 · 14/09/2015 19:54

Evening ... well today couldn't get work trousers done up at all....so bloated and it feels very tight and bloomin warm, feels like someone has stuffed a hot water bottle down there.
No idea when I OV as didn't use kits this month. Currently on day 17 of cycle

PrtyPsn · 14/09/2015 19:35

Thanks ella if you could manage a glass of rose or a Bacardi and coke for me I'd appreciate it!!

Hi all - thanks for the Maltezers and sympathy!!

I think I might have been ok if it had come at day 25-6, because it would have felt like a vaguely healthy cycle. But 22-23 feels so short!! I know I'm lucky in some ways, as my wait is shorter, but I'm worried to have such short cycles!!

Anyway...

Bex I tend to agree with Stripes, I would only POAS if you think you'll believe the outcome. If it was me, and before I was due, I would still have that glimmer of hope, and that's just darn frustrating!! I've vowed not to POAS until after I'm due, so I won't have that feeling of 'maybe' still. Sorry. So frustrating for you!!

Need a stiff drink tonight!! I'll have an extra for all you Teetotalers too! No...no need to thank me!

Stripes1983 · 14/09/2015 18:10

Hi ladies , just getting my after work fix!:) aindy sorry you had a frustrating time with OH , totally get the 'not wasting it' thing though! I don't know if when I ov so I dont think I apply too much pressure , although it's normally noted that I want it more in first couple of weeks after AF and jokingly get accused of using him for sperm :) bex I'd tend to wait until I def know I'll get a more accurate result but that's because I know it it's a BFN before AF due i won't believe it anyway and still convince myself I'm pg :) fx for you lovey x

MummyBex1985 · 14/09/2015 17:42

Ella unfortunately I haven't used any OPKs this month but my best guess would definitely be more than two weeks ago (if I OVd at all).

Aindy I only have Asda ones left - 15-20miu I think? And £1.75 each. So not the end of the world.

Prty it is starting to drive me crazy but not sure I can face the disappointment. Once I've got that BFN I'll just be waiting for the bitch to show up, at least if I don't test I'll be uncertain rather than bluuue.

No pleasing some people is there! Lol

(Won't be drinking before the weekend anyway so could realistically hold out til then)

PrtyPsn · 14/09/2015 15:25

Awww ella big hug and a bucket of Maltesers for you, lovely x
bex I'd be tempted to POAS cos it would drive me crazy being unsure but also like what ella says about dpo x

Ellamorella · 14/09/2015 14:24

Bex do you have any idea when you OVd? If it's been at least 10 days, then I would POAS, but if there's any likelihood that you might think, ah well, it's still a bit early, I would wait. Does that make sense?

I might have gone out at lunch and bought myself a lipstick to cheer myself up i did!

LittleAindy · 14/09/2015 14:05

Hmmm...Bex I would be very tempted. I guess as you were expecting AF anyway, BFN wouldn't be so bad, and anything else would be a bonus. But it depends what tests you've got. I have a tonne of ICs, so I don't mind using them liberally. I'd be less tempted if I only had HPTs from the pharmacy. Even if they are only £3-4.

What's your gut instinct telling you to do??

MummyBex1985 · 14/09/2015 13:41

Day 4 of cramping for me now (CD33). However I've had an upset tummy for a couple of days (ugh) so maybe I've mistaken the AF pain for that?! Been in a foul mood though lol so definitely feels like PMT.

AF not due until Friday according to my apps best guess. Wondering whether to wait until Friday to POAS if AF doesn't appear by then (scared of disappointment now I've started building my hopes up - big mistake, was much easier when I was convinced I wasn't PG!).

Dare I ask what you would do? Resounding cries of POAS? Wink

LittleAindy · 14/09/2015 12:53

Haha, Sunny my thought process exactly!!

Thanks Ella. So sorry to hear about potential PMT Flowers, when is the witch due?

Ah nothing like colleagues with a case of the Mondays to keep you in high spirits!

This is my last week of half days before DS goes full time to school. Nice to have the afternoons off together. And I was absolutely not fuming inside at all the bumps and prams at the school gates...

SunnyScot89 · 14/09/2015 11:34

This whole TTC thing would be so much easier if men weren't involved!!!

Ellamorella · 14/09/2015 11:01

Welcome sunny!

Aindy so sorry to hear about your DTD troubles with your OH! I think men can get paranoid about being under pressure to 'perform', maybe it was getting to him. My DH has deffo been guilty of staying up too late, etc... I've been making it into a bit of a joke - we're on duty tonight, etc... But he doesn't like it when it's not 'romantic'. I'm the one that sometimes just wants a wham bang thank you ma'am!

I'm feeling low today (well can't keep my positivity up all the time!!), as I've started spotting and have got PMT. Why is it we get PMT at the point of must disappointment for us TTC-ers!! Makes it doubly bad!! I suppose it could be IB, but as I didn't get that with DS, it doesn't feel likely!! At least I have acupuncture on Friday. And everyone here (at work) seems in a bad mood! I got in and two of my colleagues were stropping at each other. Sigh!!

LittleAindy · 14/09/2015 09:51

Sorry, sunny! Welcome! Fx'd for you Smile
