I know how you feel Poin my brother has recently announced they are expecting again so happy for them but still thinking it must be my turn soon surely x

Annd my sister has just told me she is 5 weeks pregnant . Last in the family to find out though and if I'd not text her about something else she wouldn't have told me! Happy for her but so wanted to be next xx

According to Ovia AF is due for me Xmas day so think I'm going to test tomorrow morning as don't want to be on a downer if it's a BFN. I'm sure it will be since I don't think I've even ovulated this month, my cycle still seems a mess from the pill. I've bought Agnus Cactus now so will try that next month. Good luck to everyone else hoping for a BFP soon!

Flamingo I'm sure once you start TTC your OH will become so eager my OH was always a bit apprehensive it was me always trying to suggest TTC sooner then as soon as I stopped my pill he was more eager than me! And that's a lot as I'm desperate!

First go your so right it's so mean how AF symptoms or so similar I've been so emotional all week which could hopefully mean a BFP but also AF! Fingers crossed for you x

hi poin i'm 11 or 12 dpo and have had a small amount of pink CM yesterday evening and light brown this evening.
could be AF her the way or best case scenario is implantation bleeding.
boobs sore, but that could be pre-AF too!
BFN yesterday am.
I am going to see what happens over next few days and test thurs/fri if no AF by then.

Chapman - Lucky you with 3 day AF!! I haven't tried Agnus Castus, but I have heard of it... I'm really hoping my cycles come back to normal on their own but I have Agnus Castus in the back of my mind in case I need to give my cycles a hand! Glad your cycles are more regular - hope you OV when expected, I can imagine NYC being very romantic this time of year, have an awesome time and hope next month is your month . I'm with Cookie - we need some New York/American inspired babynames if you get your BFP! Fingers crossed for you.

NewGirl Glad you didn't feel like it was a 'performance' the second time!! I guess it takes a bit of practise to get 'into the mood' at the right time/day, but it will so be worth it when you get your BFP. Hopefully it won't be long for you

SunnyDays Thanks for info about soy isoflavones - I will bear that in mind (like the agnus castus) if i am struggling to get my cycles back a few months down the line. REALLY hope my body does it on it's own, but we aren't in control! Sorry your temping/OPK tests have been confusing lately, it must be very frustrating. How long have you been ttc so far? (sorry I tried to look back but there are so many messages on this thread) FX it happens quickly for you. Keep DTD and you might catch by luck anyway! Also you are no more 'ttc crazy' (as you put it!) than any of the rest of us!! And don't apologise for having a rant, we're all in similar positions so we're always happy to lend an ear!

SO I got mega-excited last week on Thursday because I thought AF had finally arrived, turns out it was only very light spotting for a couple of days. Cramps were so intense though, I never take painkillers but I was cracking out the paracetemol to take the edge off it at night so I could sleep... for the best part of about 4 days that went on.

I am currently 1st Cycle since stopping pill 6th Nov '15 - CD47 and I have no idea what my body is doing, and quite frankly after 8/9 years on the pill its no wonder it will take time for my cycles to get into a normal rythmn again. I don't want to use any other lotions or potions if i can help it... still taking my multivitamins in the hope that will help in some way.

My Friend had the most gorgeous baby boy last week and I am going to meet him tomorrow, I literally cannot wait. I am so excited for her, but I am pretty sure I'll be tearful holding him as my DH and I want to ttc in a couple of months time (and I am SO broody right now!!). Luckily I am able to separate my feelings of 'longing', from my happiness for my friend. So it isnt awkward and she knows I'm super-broody so is very sensitive to that.

We have brought forward our baby-making plans to March now, which is so awesome... I was thinking may but DH suggested earlier - march and I'm not going to argue about that!! Surprised as didnt think he would be that excited about a baby, until one actually arrived if you see what i mean.

I hope everyone has a wonderful xmas, and get DTD ladies!!!! Keep those chins up and - FX for BFPs in Jan for everyone in with a chance. For those of us able to have a cheeky drink this xmas, we need to make sure we drink a couple of extra ones for the girls that can't!!

Morning girls sorry not been on here much! Been super busy with work and getting the last bits for Christmas sorted. Travelling down to my mothers tomorrow in Preston! Feel like I'm in the boring stages of my journey now waiting for my fertile window haha. I was only on AF for 3 days was so shocked ovia expects me to ov from 28th - 31st so I expect me and DH to dtd lots whilst we are on holidays!
Been married 2 years today time flies haha!

Hi all. Hope everyone has had a good weekend. It's been quiet on here so I hope everyone has been out having fun!!

So opks are being weird. Temps are being weird! Haha. FF thinks Iv OVd based on my temps which are quite high. (I don't think I have) opks all negative. Some days have got darker then next one faint, then next one dark, next one faint etc. hope everyone else's bodies have been more sensible. Xx

I did an opk at 3am last night when I got in drunk!! Iv officially gone ttc crazy!

I'm annoyed with my temps this month. It's still high this morning. Although probably not reliable as a bit late and they say alcohol affects it. So FF still thinks Iv OVd. Getting lots of EWCM still, more than previous months. No positive opk! Grrr. Last month my temps were low and stable in the run up to OV. And if I have OVd then we missed the window. I know Iv just got to wait and see. I wouldn't be devastated if I don't get Bfp this month (we want a baby but we aren't at the point of being desperate) I just want my body to do something normal, and know where I am with cycles. Sorry rant over. X

Nearly there soph!! Was this morning wee? The opks are better in afternoon. I got an almost positive at about 5pm last month, so I didn't pee for a few hours and dipped wee at about 9pm and it was really dark positive by then. And started to fade again the next day. The surge can last for just a few hours sometimes so I would dip another this afternoon just so you don't miss it (if you don't mind using up an extra stick) x

This is very nearly there on my OPK right? Maybe in a day or two?

Oops had "quite a few" drinks tonight... (Drunk) Good job I haven't OVd yet! cookie I understand your soppiness. Although DH didn't join in with the merriment so I don't think he will appreciate being woken at 3am to dtd... Might have to wait till tomorrow! Lol. Sunny, you seem really relaxed too which is fab! I'm trying to adopt the same approach as you. New girl, I felt soooo similar to you after DTD once I'd got my positive opk! Think DH thought I was only after one thing (which I was ) but it felt better the 2nd time. It's so strange that we're all in very similar positions and mindsets. Hoping we get our Bfps at the same time to journey through this together (ps had a few drinks tonight, hence my soppiness ). GX, how are you doing? You'll be counting down until your scan! New girl great opk! I'm trying not to tell DH when I'm OVing, he doesn't want to know any of that, so we are just having sex as normal when the mood takes us, BUT I initiate a bit more around OV if it doesn't look like its on the cards. If that doesn't work after a few months we will have to get on schedule!!

Flamingo, soy isoflavones are supposed to be natures clomid, you only take them for 5 days at beginning of cycle. I'm a bit worried about messing, but Iv been off pill for 6 months and only had 2 periods so getting a bit impatient now. It's supposed to bring OV forward and improve egg quality. Too early to know if it works yet but lots of stories online of people getting pregnant very quickly on it. Has your friend had her baby yet? Makes the broodiness worse doesn't it!

Not sure what's going on over here. I'm about 2 weeks into this cycle. Temps really rocky!! My temps in the morning seem to be my highest of the day, surely they are supposed to lowest when I wake up! Anyways FF thinks I OVd on cycle day 14, but I'm sure I didn't! I got some pretty bad pelvic pain on the morning of cycle day 15, but didn't quite feel like OV pain (not the same as last month), and no positive opks yet. I did think it was getting a tiny bit darker 2 days ago but not positive, and lighter again now. Don't think Iv missed OV cos last month I had strong positives for two whole days, and Iv tested twice a day. Here's my chart.

Cookie, Flamingo & Chapman, that is exactly what it was like!! Felt very staged, as you sad flamingo we were both very aware that we were doing it for a reason other than enjoyment. However we have DTD again tonight and was so much more relaxed, I am relieved, thought that could be the end of our sex life !!

Shame you're AF is not returned yet but by god will you know about it! I was in agony yesterday with it today I've been fine! Have U tried agnus cactus I think that's what it is called haha! But you're right you will still be ov! Fx your AF returns at least u know then your body should be getting back to normal and you can monitor it!

Sunny your 'crying in the pub' scenario made me smile - I think we have all had hormone overload at some point, completely out of our control. Hormones have a lot to answer for! Your dh must have been so confused!! Also you mentioned you are using soy now, I've not heard about that before?fx you ov soon

Newgirl great ov peak, I can imagine it might feel odd the first few times you dtd specifically over that time u ov, but I think it's mainly because we spent most of our time before now trying to prevent pregnancy, so when you knowingly dtd with pg in mind maybe subconsciously it feels different?! Dtd used to be purely about pleasure, but now it's about baby making! Not sure if I explained myself very well there, but I know what I mean?! Hopefully it feels less strange for you now you got the first one out of the way.

Still no sign of AF for me, but from what I understand this doesn't mean I am not ovulating... So I'm not too worried yet. I hear some people take up to a year to get AF back though, I hope I'm not one of those much as I hate getting AF at least it would make me feel like everything is working as it should down there.
Feeling v broody today. Best friend due to give birth any day now with her first which is so exciting, but I can't help but wish me and dh were a few months down the line so we could start trying. A member of my family asked me if I was expecting the other day, it really upset me even though we are not trying yet (possibly because we are not trying yet).

So...I got a rather unannounced ovulation peak today!! Did a CB test in the morning and 2 OPK's and all positive, after negatives yesterday and Sunday, not even a hint of a faint line! So DTD today which I have to admit was weird and totally killed the romance/enjoyment, as it's the firs time we've properly DTD in a very timed fashion! Has anyone else felt like that?? I'm hopeful that now the first time is out of the way it'll be fine!!
