Waiting to try, and cycle a mess from the pill

Sadly it's definitely AF Sunny . Disappointed as I'd started to convince myself I was PG but will have to give it a better shot next month. In the mean time I'm having some awful cramps!!

Ooh new girl, maybe you just tested too early?? If the spotting was brown and disappeared fingers crossed! I did a tesco test this morning and absolutely nothing! 100%bfn. Yesterday's bloody Evap was so strong! Will teach me not to look at old tests! Opks a bit paler today So think it was probably OV, so il just have to wait and see what temps do. X

Sunny your OPK's are so strong! I'd ignore FF if I was you and go on the tests and temps, and your feeling in your own body.

I tested yesterday morning and got a BFN, and then yesterday evening got some brown spotting so I think the witch is on her way a few days early! I was getting cramps yesterday and day before but didn't think it was AF as it was all one side (same side as Ov) and different pain to normal so thought it could be implantation. No such luck on our first try obviously.
Silly me, we are away for a couple of nights and I brought tonnes of pg tests but only the 2 Tampons that I normally carry in my handbag!! So now got to go on a hunt for more to rub salt in the wound !

Newgirl have you tested yet?? That little burst of bleeding sounds positive!

Cookie yeah I think OPKs that just test for LH should be in afternoon between 2-4 ideally, after holding urine for 3-4 hours. Although I always do mine at about 6pm as that's when I get in from work. Clear blue test for two hormones so are more accurate with FMU.

My opks are still positive. That's 4 days now. Temps still up. If I take the opks off my chart FF thinks I OVd day 14. I didn't have any signs of OV, no positive opk, didn't have ewcm on that day (but have had it pretty much every other day!!) and no sore nipples that I normally get after OV! But all temps still up.

Did a super drug cheapy this morning, nothing on it so went back to bed. Just looked again 3 hours later and there is a faint line. BUT it's out of the time frame. And also the line is exactly where the little plastic cover was touching the test paper so I wonder if the dye just accumulated there. No tests in the house. Might get a FRER for tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath for a bfp. No symptoms of pregnancy, boobs feel normal, just the motion sickness the other day and felt a bit queasy yesterday evening but think that's cos I'm over thinking things! Getting OV type pains so I know it's more likely to be OV.

cookie I found them really helpful. Made me feel like I had a bit of control back. I would have missed my cd 65 ovulation for sure! Even though my AF has arrived 2 weeks later it is at least reassurance that I am not having anovulatory cycles.

I've started my OPKs and done one today. Faint line so definitely a negative! Will start them properly next week and use my clear blue dig ones too! Really don't want to miss my window like i did last month! Xx

Ooh fingers crossed its implantation New Girl! All your symptoms sound positive! When are you due to test? No I don't think I've ov'd yet! Last cycle was 34 days so I think I've maybe got another week (or there abouts) until i do! Will try and dtd lots next week whilst me and hubby are off work! Feeling more positive about things than last month since my cycle seems to be (slowly) becoming a bit more regular! Still taking Angus castus too! Xx

I got a short burst of bleeding yesterday, too much to be called spotting, so did make me think it could be implantation bleeding...maybe! My boobs also feel massive today, and sore, although I get this before AF anyway so who knows. Will probably do a test tomorrow although I am still not exactly sure how many DPO I am! Do you count from your peak or from after that? I've read you Ov 24-36 hours after the peak...

I'm on cd14. Don't think I'm due to of until next week and OPKs have all been negative so far. Have been dtd just for fun anyways will do another OPK this afternoon as haven't done one for a few days! Does anyone know if the cb OPKs have to be used in the morning or afternoon? I always use the ic ones mid afternoon but heard on here that CB are more accurate with fmu? I should really just read the instructions but you ladies are probably more knowledgable than the box is xx hope I've not missed anyone out X

Sorry to anyone OV missed, can't bring myself to write whole post again!

No idea what's going on here. Temps mainly still high but FF has taken away my cross hairs so now thinks I haven't OVd. OV had ewcm +creamy cm for more than a week. Opks almost positive /positive for last 3 days. Had to do a 4 hour ambulance transfer yesterday and really thought I was going to have to ask them to stop cos I felt so sick! Obviously it's just motion sickness... They are like tin cans on wheels and very windy roads. But my brain goes into overdrive! Couldn't even face my dinner when I got home. Did an IC this morning which I'm fairly sure is negative... Thought I could see a shadow but it's definitely not pink and pretty sure it's not even there! Haha. No idea if Iv OVd or when so that doesn't help. Il test again in a few days.

I hace learnt to detect ovulation though and got it right this month though, so that's a bonus.

It makes it 28 days exactly NewGirl so maybe that is now the correct cycle length! Extremely light again. Have done some reading up and this could mean I'm not actually ovulating even though I'm getting tell EWCM around day 12 onwards or this could now be the "norm" for me. Might try and get some cheap OPKs and see whats going on. I've had 1 day of medium flow and today super light, mainly brown and now only when I wipe.

Shankate sore boobs is a pretty normal symptom of the menstrual cycle, so nothing to worry about. Not sure about the strange taste.
I'd recommend you track all your symptoms and your cycle using an app, you will not be ovulating immediately after your bleeding stops so while no harm in DTD then that wouldn't have been your peak window. You really need to track a full cycle start to finish to get an accurate ovulation prediction from any kind of app, although even then it's only reliable if your cycles are regular. If they aren't, use an ovulation prediction kit and start using ovulation tests from about day 10 in your cycle until you get a peak. When you get your peak, that's when you need to have sex, and for the few days after it.

Hi lovely ladies. Line got lighter after that test and now is non-existent, so let's hope I caught it. Would be a nice Christmas / New Year pressie. Even if it means a shorter cycle and not pregnancy, I would still be pleased, as can't bear another 51 day one.

Heading back to my hubby's parent's house in Essex laiden with pressies.

I am keeping everything crossed that you all see some positive progress over the coming weeks.

Hi everyone! Such a busy time of year for us all isn't it, no wonder we struggle to keep up with the thread!
So I am now 8 days post my peak OPK, does that mean I'm 8DPO, or is Ov actually a bit later than OPK peak?? Either way I am going to hold out until after Xmas to test.
Very slight symptoms but think I'm just being overly sensitive, sore nipples (spent far too much time tweaking them to see if they are sore!!) and had some low pelvic cramps a few days ago. CM is now creamy but that's pretty normal at this point for me. Was in such a grumpy moody when I got home from work today for absolutely no reason which is really unlike me, I'm usually the eternal optimist!! So in my first proper TWW, scary!!
I also found out that I got a promotion that I went for at work last week so very happy about that, and a nice pay rise for as & when I go on maternity leave
Flamingo, hope your cycle gets back to normal soon, I think you're taking the right approach in waiting it out for a but before you take any other supps.
