Waiting to try, and cycle a mess from the pill

How interesting shankate !! When I came off cerazette I feel pregnant within 2 weeks with my son!

But my daughter (first born) took over a year after stopping the combined pill!

Chocoholic I stopped the mini pill cerezze on the 5th of December I had a withdrawal bleed the 6th and did stop spotting until I got my first monthly 2 weeks ago ? I'm not waiting to test next month but am getting serious cramps

Stopped the mini pill zelleta on 12th December. Had no bleed but pregnancy symptoms... took a test on 27th December- BFP -yay?-

Took one a few days later... negative. So prepared myself for a bleed, had spoken to midwife who booked me in anyway and said call if I bled.

Still no bleed, still only negative HPT? Also had a blood test on the 11th, apparently negative...

Yet midwife isn't happy to cancel my booking appointment on 28th as is sure I'm pregnant if I haven't bled and OPK gave me positives for the last 3 days...

Symptoms include nausea, excess saliva (I'm guessing due to nausea), darken nipples, dizziness, metallic taste in my mouth, tiredness, can't drink coffee (I'm a magazine editor and drinking coffee is my second profession haha)

It's all very odd right?! How long did it take you to bleed after stopping the mini pill? 😊😊

I've been taking B6 cookie only 50mg a day as Holland and Barrett advised these rather than Agnus Cactus, I haven't really noticed any difference which is why I started the Agnus Cactus too!!!! I don't know about the different phases what is the luteal phase? FX it helps you x

I'm thinking the same with alcohol I will continue for now as it is only a small amount but will stop if I don't get a BFP in next few months.

My OPKs have arrived but I've decided not to use them this cycle, DP is away quite a bit with work so I will be gutted if a get a BFP while he isn't here and also as my cycles aren't regular so I could be testing for weeks x

New girl, so glad you got your static smiley! Chuffed for you!! I remember last cycle running down the stairs with the stick to show DH when I got my static smiley. There was a look of sheer panic on his face at first as I think he thought it was another kind of stick i was showing him dtd again tonight for luck incase you've ov'd late! fx for you!!

Yvonne, I'm still drinking to be honest. I do like a wine at the weekend, or a cheeky cocktail! I dont drink excessively, tho may cut it out completely if continue to have no success.

Has anyone tried b6 supplements? I'm taking my usual folic acid as well as Agnus Castus now. Have done a bit of research and have seen that 100mg of b6 a day can help lengthen the luteal phase. Think I'm going to give it a shot seeing as i only had a 9-10 day luteal phase last cycle! Xx

I'm the same I am killed with pain the last few days I'm Cd 18 so shud of ovulate Wednesday and these pains are getting worse! And the same with the watery stuff

Sunny love you statistical analysis of our BFP rate that is so the sort of thing I'd do!! Ive only been properly trying for 2 cycles including this one so I probably squee our stats a bit as been on this thread longer.

Yvonne I've not given up alcohol and I do like a drink, staying away from big binges but still enjoying a few glasses of wine etc. Like Chapman said you could end up not drinking for ages if it takes a few cycles to fall and then having 9 months off it while you're pregnant!!

I'm a bit confused on what's happening with me, got my positive OPK on Friday so though I'd Ov yesterday, but still getting some watery cm and Ov pain today and no temp spike this morning maybe I have a slow egg still waiting in the wings!!

Sunnydays I'm on Cd 18 ? Not due anything till February? Like it feels like pressure more so than anything really strong pains ? Then I get a nausea feeling

First - I know exactly how you feel! I go onto Facebook and another person is pregnant. Like sunny says we are happy for them but we just wish it was us. There's no harm in that it's human nature!

Sunny - we've had 2! Gx91 and SophieD and this thread was started in August so not a lot really. The pill is cruel if I knew what it would be liked I would of stopped ages ago but you get it drummed into you if you forget to take one pill you will get pregnant so you're so cautious.

I think iv confused you guys. I haven't ovulated yet. On cd12 now. But my stupid phone keeps autocorrecting "Iv" to "Ov"... Iv obviously been doing to much ttc talk! Haha.

Our first, I think that's a natural reaction. It doesn't mean you aren't happy for them, it just means that you also want that for your self, and that's ok. The two feelings aren't mutually exclusive. And it is crappy isn't it, having stupid cycles, I feel the same, like if I knew I was going to OV on cd14 like a normal person we would really go for it over fertile period, but I just don't know when mine is going to be! And also if you are having long periods you get less chances!

Have we only ever had one bfp on this thread?? Statistically each person has a 20% chance of conceiving each cycle and 70% will conceive within 6 months. How long have we had this thread? Seems like the pill really has messed us all up 😕 x

Yvonne - I never drink anyway but there's no harm in having one or two! You could cut alcohol out all together and not get pregnant for months and then you have to miss out for 9 months!

Just wondered if anyone has given up alcohol while TTC? I don't drink much but I do really enjoy a glass or two of wine on a Friday and Saturday night, j didn't think much of it but a friend commented today that this won't be helping my chances of conceiving?! X

Got another flashing smiley yesterday morning and on your advice did a second one around lunchtime and finally saw that static smiley!! Whoop! So pretty sure I have ov'd today, my temperature dipped this morning so waiting to see if it spikes tomorrow. Will probably DTD tomorrow as well as a backup.
How are you getting on, is AF slowing up yet?

Sunny I've been using it for a couple of months and I think it is taking a bit of getting used to, last month I didn't test as much and went straight to a static smiley. For me it's worth every penny though as I don't get the faint lines that others seem to get while approaching their peak.

sunny yes my pattern has been 38, 32, 48, 77.
Now on CD23.
I didn't start AC until 11th which was CD18.

Not on af.. Angus! And I seem to have trained my auto correct to change iv to ov! Too much ttc talk!

Argh first, it's so annoying isn't it! I hope it's shorter for you this time! Your on af us now aren't you? Did you start the Angus at the start of your cycle? I noticed ewcm quite quickly after starting it, I still didn't ov for a while but it did seem to wake things up! I know ov said this before but mine are getting shorter..
1st = 98 day (Ov on cd88).
2nd = 42 days (ov cd32)
3rd= 35 days (ov on cd26).

Currently on cd 11. Seem to only have 9-10 day luteal phase so ov late regardless of cycle length. I'm hoping this one is shorter again, first didn't yours get shorter and then you had a long one again?

Shan what cd are you on? Are you expecting period. I used to get period pain for 2-3 days before my period when I was on the pill, now it seems to hit suddenly when period starts. Depending where you are in your cycle it could be Ov pain or implantation... Or one of many other things, bowel pain etc. are you at the right place in your cycle to poas? Xx

New girl, hope you OV soon so you don't get too tired out! Is this your 1st month using the really technical clear blue monitor? Iv heard it can take a couple of months to get used to your hormones. You will probably just get a static out of the blue... Loads of sex can only help your chances though!

First, what cycle day did you ov last month? Hope it's soon for you. I'm hoping I OV earlier this month. It's got slightly shorter each month so fingers crossed.

I'm cd10 today, was going to pee on my 1st opk of the month today, but I forgot!! Haha, doing a bit too well with the chilling now out this month. Not that it matters as I'm sure I won't OV for at least a couple more weeks! I peed on about 50 last month to the point where it felt weird going for a wee and not dipping something in it! Lol. So need to get back into it. Xx

Ooh exciting times New Girl. Your static might just come out of the blue when you least expect it! I got mine at 12 midday after I'd been using the clear blue at the same time every morning. Also held the stick in my pee pot a wee bit longer that day! Keep dtd & hopefully you'll reach your peak over the weekend!

Hope ov comes for you soon Yvonne! What OPKs did you order? I need to get some more Amazon ones as went through a whole pack last month, and a whole pack of CB! Really hoping we all have some luck this month- we're over due some Bfps!

Newgirl, just had a wee giggle at your 'chores' comment! It can feel like that at time can't it! My DH is still struggling to get his head around the whole fertile window side of things. He thinks we're in for a good chance regardless of where we dtd in my cycle. I think I need to send him back to school for some biology lessons xx
