Sorry for everyone who's out.

I'm apparently 3dpo now. Not sure if we managed to DTD enough tbh. I guess we'll see. Should be testing about the 27/28 September.

I am going to try really hard not to symptom spot to insanity this month. I've got quite a busy couple of weeks coming up, so hope that will help!

Thisisbonkers · 14/09/2015 08:18

I'm out Sad

Vikkijayne2507 · 13/09/2015 22:30

I also start back at work on tuesay waahhh dont wanna

KittyandTeal · 12/09/2015 19:36

Exactly chat. Rock and hard place. Bloody crap!

ChatEnOeuf · 12/09/2015 19:23

Completely, Kitty. I'm not sure I'll ever trust my body again - to tell me when something's wrong or to carry a pregnancy. Need to though. Rock and a hard place springs to mind...

KittyandTeal · 12/09/2015 19:10

My periods have been heavier too although they are normally a day of spotting, a heavy painful day and 2 days of light flow (could wear one pad all day if that wasn't minging!)

My temps are also all over the place. It does make me wonder whether the uterus lining is not getting thick enough for anything to implant. That might just be my bad biology understanding though.

Or there may be no issue at all and I'm just falling back into that lack of body trust thing. I'm guessing you may suffer the same chat?

Chat you and I have very similar stories and ages!

ChatEnOeuf · 12/09/2015 19:05

I was under the impression that 10 days was the minimum desired LP too Kitty. I don't temp/opk etc. but I've been hit by two 26-day cycles post SB. It used to be over 30. I hate my periods, they're usually long, painful and heavy - I don't want any more of them!

I'm 34 soon Tuesday! too. DS was chromosomally normal - just shitty luck that he died, but despite that I feel the healthy egg time pressure.

FlatWhiteToGo · 12/09/2015 13:54

The advice seems to vary. I worry quite a bit as the whole implantation stage etc seems to last quite a few days (or even close to 2 weeks) so I think "how can a LP of 6-8 days NOT be bad news?", but when I said this to the doctor she said it wasn't an issue. I would just monitor it and see what happens, as it may just have been a one off.

KittyandTeal · 12/09/2015 13:39

That's interesting flatwhite. I thought anything under 10 was short. I know 11 seems okish but 9 is rubbish.

I guess I'm a little worried about a possible issue with fertility as I have time stacked against me. I'm 34 soon. Once I get to 35 I think it's probably game over for us as the risks of another life limiting/lethal trisomy is way too high.

Sizzle1981 · 12/09/2015 13:08

A big congrats to Toffee!! x

weechops · 12/09/2015 12:39

kitty I think if you're worried then you should definitely chat to your gp. I'm pretty sure an lp of less than 10 days is considered short, but I don't know what effects, if any, it would have on conceiving.

If no one minds, I'm going to kick off the October bus. Af is almost finished, so it's time to get obsessive Grin

FlatWhiteToGo · 12/09/2015 09:54

Kitty - that sounds pretty normal to me. The 9 days is on the short side of things, but that could be a one off and shouldn't affect things. I'm lucky if I have an LP over 10 days! Mine is often 6-8 days which is very short but the doctor told me not to worry (!).

KittyandTeal · 12/09/2015 08:34

I think I may have to book a doc appointment. I've begun to realise that my luteal phase is around 11 days. The longest I've had is 14 days when I had my chemical pregnancy. This cycle was 9 days!

That doesn't sound right does it? I am right in thinking that's short aren't I?

I've had a quick google and read the thread on here and it seems that most people with a short LP either have never fallen pregnant or have suffered early losses. I've not had problems conceiving previously and my loss was a late one. I wonder if my termination or stillbirth has affected my cycles/hormone levels.

I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any thoughts/experience of short LP or cycles being 'off' after a late loss?

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 12/09/2015 08:28

ETD is estimated test date Sonia.

Another high on the fertility monitor this morning. But my temp was up slightly. Did I ovulate yesterday? Who knows? We DTD yesterday, and on Wednesday, but not on Thursday. So if I did ovulate yesterday, I'm not sure if that's enough. I guess we'll carry on, and we will see!

SoniaShoe · 12/09/2015 08:27

ETD : is it expected testing date? 23 September for me I'm on day 17 today

SoniaShoe · 12/09/2015 07:42

Well AF still isn't here.. Bought 15 Internet cheapies for £2.80 from Amazon but they're due 17-21 so I guess when I get them that's when I'm going to test! Otherwise if AF shows up I'll update. I'm at CD: 44/49

3Princes99 · 11/09/2015 21:23

Congrats Toffee! Happy for you

Sorry you're out kitty

KittyandTeal · 11/09/2015 17:35

Sorry that should be cycle 5. Balls!

KittyandTeal · 11/09/2015 17:26

Awesome toffee.

I'm out, again. Dunno what's going on. Massive temp dip well below cover line, spotting, cramps and backache but only 9dpo. I think ff may have miscalculated this month. Anyway, it was expected.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 11/09/2015 16:21

This is a positive OPK, right?

I wonder if this means I will get a peak on my monitor tomorrow? If I don't, I'll be a bit concerned that it was a massive waste of money!
