It is mrsnucky - in less than 2 hours! I am very, very anxious as I'm a very nervous driver and am having to drive everywhere (and park!) as MrVan is working away and I can't make my childcare work with my usual train commute. All these nerves together aren't helping me.

I feel very tense and tearful and will be glad to get home with the boy after the hospital visit. In some ways I wish I'd kept the appointment to this Friday and taken the boy and then I could have walked. I dread to think what my blood pressure will be!

Wish me luck for parking at the hospital

Emilygremily · 24/08/2015 13:53

I have always monitored my cycle as i like to know when i am due AF and i have never been this late. :(

MrsNuckyT · 24/08/2015 13:50

Emily - so strange that it didn't happen yet. It might by like my weirdly long cycle last month? I wonder if this happens from time to time but we don't notice these things when we are not TTC...?

carrot - is it your scan today? think i had the 24th in my mind!

Emilygremily · 24/08/2015 13:49

It is a possibility that i have ovulated late i hope i did and that i get my BFP

ODog · 24/08/2015 13:18

IIRC, I didn't get a bfp until quite late with my DS. I remember it being way more than 14 days as I had the same thing as you, ie no AF and no bfp. Maybe some people just take longer for their bodies to start producing the hormone that hpt pick up??

CarrotVan · 24/08/2015 13:11

Might you have ovulated later than expected?

Emilygremily · 24/08/2015 12:37

Im either 4 days late or 11 days late :(

Emilygremily · 24/08/2015 12:35

It is very strange as i have never had a cycle this long before in my entire life, it is always 30 - 36 days on the dot :(

CarrotVan · 24/08/2015 12:33

I take it you're still testing for BFP, emily? How weird. I think a couple of people have had weirdly long cycles with no apparent reason recently.

Emilygremily · 24/08/2015 12:24

I am off on holiday today still none the wiser no AF or BFP, however i had a slight bleed on Saturday night at around 23:00 only lasted the length of Sinister 2 in the cinema ;) but i am not sure what that meant :( i have never had a bleed which hasnt been AF :( getting down now as i think it is too late to even get a BFP CD41 usual cycle 30 - 36 days

willma86 · 24/08/2015 10:19

I know the feeling thisisbonkers! I want to bury my head in the sand too. I came off the pill exactly this time last year. I've been putting it down to moving house / job etc but not sure how much longer I can run with that! Had a progesterone check and that was fine but that's it...

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 24/08/2015 10:14

I'm testing on Wednesday too! I did naughtily test yesterday (11dpo but not with FMU) using an Internet cheapy, but it was a BFN. Could just be too early still though.

I feel really sick this morning and I did throw up, but I had a sandwich yesterday with some leftover crab mayonnaise in it, so tbh it could just be that! I'm pretty prone to nausea anyway, especially just before AF.

Thisisbonkers · 24/08/2015 09:46

Good luck to those testing this week!

I'm peeing on some cb opks this week. It does say to test anytime of day as long as it's been 4 hours since the last pee (surely it's not just me who can't go that long during the day?!) so FMU it is. I've only got 7 sticks though and last two days have been negative so might skip tomorrow ( or do a cheapie?). It would be much easier if I had a regular cycle.

Am debating doctors after this cycle (10), as although it hasn't yet been 12 months, we haven't exactly been careful over the previous two years prior to ttc. Otoh, I don't want to know that there is a problem as I'd rather bury my head in the sand Blush basically want someone to wave a magic wand..!

ODog · 24/08/2015 09:14

I poas and it was bfn, AF not due until Wednesday though so I'll try again then. Pulpi - we will be testing the same day!

Welcome willma and aorry to hear you are getting down about it all. I can't pretend to know how that feels but hopefully this thread will help give you some support. Fx this is your month.

willma86 · 24/08/2015 08:52

Bit late to the party but can I join? TTC #1 this will be my 12 month TTC and starting to get pretty down about it all. AF due tomorrow and had watery brown discharge last night. Was so convinced this was our month but losing hope after last night.

PipeDownSmallFry · 24/08/2015 08:38

Waiting, waiting, waiting, driving myself a bit crazy! AF not due till next Tuesday/ Wednesday and trying to wait till then to test. Seem to convince myself that any slight change in my body or mood is a symptom (clearly it's not).

Just need to keep busy. I'll start by having a lovely cuppa.

Hope everyone has a good Monday.

pulpi · 24/08/2015 07:05

Slight temp drop today, but still well above the coverline. I am hoping the spotting doesn't start tomorrow. If AF stays away, I'll POAS on Wednesday, I think.

ODog · 24/08/2015 06:41

Thanks emu.

I'm lying in bed now considering whether I should as its almost certainly too early and I said I wasn't going to get into that but I probably will

Emu123 · 24/08/2015 06:33

Good luck to odog and pulpi if u poas today!!

raluca hope AF stays away Smile

ODog · 23/08/2015 22:09

Been away for the weekend so I haven't been keeping up. Welcome to any newbies and congrats if I have missed any BFPs (had a quick scroll and I don't think I have! Hmm). I'm 11dpo (down to my own guess work) and 14 dpo according to my app. AF is due on Wednesday, although this is based on a 28day cycle. Mine can vary from 28-35. What's the concensus...shall I poas in the morning?

Vikkijayne2507 · 23/08/2015 21:55

I got a sort of positive opk only ic yesterday on sat. I say sort of as it was pretty dark and today it has completely vanished without a trace. Dtd wed and Friday, will maybe attempt today but oh and I are in our pjs drinking wine now baby is in bed. This worked last time had sex day b4 opk so hoping again now the loong wait

pulpi · 23/08/2015 19:32

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

RalucaMorena · 23/08/2015 19:20

Tx pulpi...af due tomorrow so we will find out soon

pulpi · 23/08/2015 19:18

Oh gods, sorry Raluca, I just scrolled up and found my answer. Here's hoping it was just too early to test!

pulpi · 23/08/2015 19:15

Was it the crazy waves of nausea, Raluca? I put mine down to the headache and the obscene amount of wilted garlicky spinach I had with my fried egg, but the waves have been hanging about more frequently this weekend.

How many dpo are you now? Any chance the BFN becomes a BFP in the next few days?
