Well no sign of AF yet. Will see what my temp does tomorrow, but I expect it will go properly below the cover line and she will appear!

Sizzle1981 · 26/08/2015 19:57

Does anyone else get nauseous around ovulation time? Have been feeling sick on and off for 2 days. I'm only cd8 though and have negative opks though so I guess it could just be a bug.

Fx for you Birchy and Obliviated. x

pulpi · 26/08/2015 19:40

AF most likely will start tomorrow, allowing me to take my seat on the bus officially. Still hoping that the nausea and sore boobs outweigh the 2 days of light spotting, though.

Vikkijayne2507 · 26/08/2015 19:38

I'm only 5ish days post ov and I'm already symptom spotting, cramps yesterday and last night and today very emotional even tears?? Wtf

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 26/08/2015 19:12

Obviously meant symptom SPOTTING. Although, symptom spitting sounds interesting!

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 26/08/2015 19:11

Hi all! Sorry been a little bit absent - been manic at work this week!

Congratulations to Carrot!!! Massive hugs and celebrations. And hello to the new joiners too - welcome aboard!

I think I'm currently around ovulation... I bought some cheapy OPKs but they only arrived yesterday. Have been using them at work in the afternoons. Definitely negative yesterday but the line looked a bit stronger today. (My period app says today should be ov day) but I know I don't run like clockwork so just DTDing lots and and waiting to see...

I already feel myself symptom spitting (how stupid, not even ovulated probably yet!) so god knows what I'm going to be like over the next three weeks.

CarrotVan · 26/08/2015 18:45

A Superdrug HPT is one of the more sensitive ones obliviated but sometimes HCG production takes a while to get going. There are plenty of stories about people who didn't get a BFP until two weeks late

Fx for you

And fx for that follicle birchy

BettyFlower78 · 26/08/2015 17:54

Hi YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut, Think after this cycle that is going to have to be our next step. I'm past the stressful bit I think, I have stopped myself getting too hopeful. It was just getting too much.
Hoping this month we have managed to get the timing just right!
Congrats to those who have positives this month!

3Princes99 · 26/08/2015 17:34

Don't want to get your hopes up obliv, but you could be pregnant.....with opks being positive, your hpt might be negative due to it not being a very sensitive one? Which brand did you use? Do you know the mlu?

FuzzyOwl · 26/08/2015 16:42

Here is the picture Obliviated and it was the same the following day - positive OPK but negative HPT with the internet cheapies.

FuzzyOwl · 26/08/2015 16:40

That depends on how sensitive your test is Obliviated. When I got my BFP I also tested with an OPK to see how true it was, along with three brands of HPT. Two have a BFT, one didn't and the OPK was positive. I will dig out a picture.

Obliviated · 26/08/2015 16:18

I first did one because I wanted to pee on something Blush but when it came up positive I started googling and saw that they could pick up HCG so carried on. I don't think that it is HCG that it's picking up though as a HPT would have been positive by now too, it's more curiosity now.

FuzzyOwl · 26/08/2015 15:57

When you are pregnant, you get positive OPKs MrsNuckyT as well. So I guess that is why Obliviated is using them since the HPK is showing as negative.

birchygoo · 26/08/2015 15:30

Welcome all - stats updated! stats link can be found in my original post. Just to let you know we have had another BFP on the hybrid bus - thats 3 from last month, with still a few days left to go

I THINK I am 4dpo today - I had clomid this cycle which has messed with my temps I think - temps have been very high and up and down lots! So temp has not registered ovulation. On CD13 I had a 19mm follicule and on cd15 I had peak on cbfm. Now am cd20. I am really hoping my 19mm follicule didnt decide to go mweh dont think I will turn into a released egg Sad. I think I should be able to test next friday though!

obliviated - just out of curiosity why are you doing OPKs if you're 12 DPO?

Hope you don't mind me joining in ladies, as if my period doesn't show up I will be testing sometime in September. I've had a very odd cycle this month with early ovulation (according for Fertility Friend) and two positive OPKs (days apart) and two patches of ECWM, also my temperature pattern is very different to my previous cycles. Actually I have NO idea where I am. If my period turns up I should be able to work out when I ovulated (based on my average luteal phase) but right now I'm a bit Confused. Due to all the confusion husband and I will carry on having sex every other day until something happens one way or another!

CarrotVan · 26/08/2015 12:38

I'll be due about 16th April but I will probably opt for a ELCS so it will be earlier. I've now got a 9wk EPU scan, booking in and a 12 wk scan all scheduled so I'm feeling well looked after by the NHS

I'll keep popping back and hope to see lots of BFPs for you all

FuzzyOwl · 26/08/2015 12:18

Hi, please can I join you all?

I've had another very positive OPK today (12DPO) so that's 4 in a row, but a negative (Superdrug) HPT. I tried to check CM this morning but couldn't reach.

I might have gone a bit mad and ordered a CBFM from Amazon. DH will not be impressed - he thinks we shouldn't be bothering with any of this and that I need to relax. It's interesting - he obviously never really thinks about the whole thing at all.

weechops · 26/08/2015 10:49

carrot that's fabulous! So happy for you!

I'm cd14 today, no positive opk yet but I usually get a positive on cd15. This is another wasted cycle as dh still away, but I like to feel I'm doing something Grin

MrsNuckyT · 26/08/2015 10:09

Carrot - that's wonderful news! I remember the feeling of pure amazement when I first saw my little 6 week-old embryo with a flickering heart beat. He's now 2.5 and a complete handful! How exciting and keep us posted by popping back onto the bus from time to time! When is your due date?

I am back onto CBFM testing as am on CD9 already (when did that happen), so hoping high and peak days coincide with the first week of our holiday which should hopefully mean plenty of opportunity and energy for BDing!

3Princes99 · 26/08/2015 09:38

Sorry to hear that youandme stay positive

Good luck for this month Betty!

Huge congratulations Carrot, so happy for you Grin what's your due date?

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 26/08/2015 08:51

Fingers crossed for you BettyFlower! 19 cycles is certainly a fair while. It must have been hugely stressful. Have you had any fertility investigations done?
