Congratulations emzlou and snowflake - wonderful news

Snowflake16 · 19/09/2015 07:34

I wasn't meant to test until tomorrow but I've been lightheaded a few times and have really tender breasts and sore nipples which is really unusual for me, so I did a test yesterday and guess what, a BFP!!!!
I can't really believe it yet, I've had to take 3 tests all with different pee just to make sure. The lines are still faint but I think I'm at 3 weeks +5 days!!!!

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 18/09/2015 11:22

Congrats Emzlou! Let's hope two BFPs so far mean this will be a lucky bus for some of the rest of us. I'm 7dpo today. As ever, massively failing not to symptom spot!

Emzlou15 · 18/09/2015 09:51

Thank you! Yes I had to buy the digi to believe it although I still don't! I did another test later on that day as all four had been done with the same pee I wanted to check with different pee and it was still a crazy strong positive. I will leave for the other threads now but I will pop in every now and then to see everyone else getting those BFPs! Good luck ladies Flowers

MrsNuckyT · 18/09/2015 09:32

Congratulations emzlou that's fantastic news! It's a great feeling, isn't it, when you see that word on the screen!

Congrats also to toffee - thrilled for you!

Emzlou15 · 17/09/2015 17:54

Oh My God....
So apparently my DH can sniff out pregnancy because I just took four tests (3 cheapies 1 Digital) and
I'M PREGNANT! Still in complete shock. so that speck of blood on the 5th September must have been implantation! I've had a bit of a backache and have been feeling hot/cold. The cheapies came up straight away and I used afternoon pee. Went out and bought the Clearblue digi in a state of disbelief and it came up pregnant 3+ weeks! This is crazy! I didn't know I had ovulated. Thank you to everyone here for the support and I hope you all are lucky soon I want to see you in the pregnancy threads!

Toffeeapple what fab news to come back to - I am so pleased for you!

I'm guessing we now need someone new to do the stats - I'm really not able to keep up with them at the moment. If you want to take over please send me your email address and I will make you a moderater of the stats, or you can copy and paste them across to your own sheet.

Im cd 13, 2nd clomid cycle - temps seem much more normal this cycle. Lots of EWCM yesterday (which I was surprised about as clomid is suppose to dry this up) have a good feeling this month. Stress with work is also slowly disappearing! cycle month 11 though, so really hoping it happens soon! Also just been invited on a hen for next March - I cant not book it just in case as it hasnt been happening so far! But Im so hoping it will happen.

Yep the old hag has arrived with avengeance. Urgh. Am utterly utterly peed off. And starting to fret. I just keep thinking that DS is getting older and older, the gap between him and our fictional second child getting bigger. I know that's not the be all and end all...

What steps can I take to improve things? Have decided to cut back on caffeine and alcohol for both me and DH - we don't drink loads, but probably too much sometimes, so can improve that. Diets are decent. Maybe encourage DH to eat nuts and tomatoes? What else can we be doing different?

Emzlou15 · 16/09/2015 22:28

Soooo I'm still not out..
Day 49 or 54 (depends if count Withdrawl bleed from pill) had speck of blood Day 38&39 and nothing since. Ordered some Internet cheapies a few days ago and still waiting for them to arrive.

I really don't want to get my hopes up for me to then get a negative. DH said hes had vibes for a few days that I'm pregnant. Would be so weird if he's right! Just want my tests to turn up before I cave and go to the shops and buy a test.

FuzzyOwl · 16/09/2015 22:06

I am out this month as well. Ovulated yesterday but didn't get the chance to dtd so roll on October.

Kitty I have had two pregnancies. One did end in a miscarriage but the other one ended in my baby who is beside me right now. My cycle length varies massively but my LP is always ten or eleven days without fail.

Sizzle1981 · 16/09/2015 21:44

Hope you had a nice holiday MrsNucky. Sorry you're feeling AF coming. Not over till it's over though!
I would see your GP if I were you. I'd just says it's been 6 months and nothing and see what tests they suggest.
(No idea what they start with though)
xx

MrsNuckyT · 16/09/2015 09:56

Hello all! Back from hols. DtD lots and lots over peak and high days, but I'm pretty sure that AF is getting me so I've joined the October bus.

I had some very light brown spotting two days ago (AF due today) which never happens so convinced myself it was an implantation bleed (I didn't have IB with DC1). But I've now had two negative tests and I'm pretty sure she's on her way today. GODDAMIT. I really thought with the relaxed BD'ing on holiday this would be our month.

I'm now 36 and we've been trying for 6 months. Is it time to see the GP? What should I be asking for? Tests? DH to be tested? What happens now?

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 15/09/2015 16:59

Hello all! Just popping my head in - thank you for all the lovely congratulations. Still early days but just doing all I can to keep little one safe in there.

Also - thought it was worth saying that I experienced absolutely no implantation bleeding so if you're waiting for some spotting to give you a bit of hope - don't worry if you don't get it. Don't know if that's a good sign for me or not but hey!

Keeping all my fingers crossed for you bonkers!!!

And sorry to hear so many people are out this month. Hope AF isn't too mean to you this month and is quick and light so that DTD can commence again for next month!

xxx

Violet88 · 15/09/2015 13:02

Had a busy few days so not caught up on here. Huge congratulations Toffee !!! Flowers that was nice to read!!!

Sorry to all who have been got by AF!!

Itsme good luck for the IUI/IVF

I'm CD9 today so first day of testing with clear blue smiley face opk's, have to start them early as last two cycles have only been 26 days long. Also went a bit test-happy this morning, and stupidly did a pregnancy test. BFN obviously, but I wanted to check as my AF's are always extremely heavy and long and very painful, however my last two have been light and lasting only 3 days and no pain whatsoever. Some of that can be explained by my transaemic acid, but it shouldn't have had any effect on pain or duration, so I was doubting if they were real periods. Anyway it seems like they were! Wonder if they were annovulatory cycles though? Either that or this transaemic acid is bloody magic!!!

Also my temp has shot up this morning from 35.98 to 37.20? Going to read up on temping now, but is this a good start?

Thisisbonkers · 15/09/2015 12:37

Implantation bleeding? That or an even lighter AF than last month? Well, the light one 20 days before AF from hell Confused

not at all building hopes up. Nope, no hope building here

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 15/09/2015 08:26

It's just occurred to me - I'm going away for a night in a nice hotel at the weekend with a spa. I know you are meant to avoid steam rooms/saunas and hot tubs during pregnancy, but what about during the tww? Am I going to have to sit them out? That will put a huge dampener on the weekend, especially if it turns out I'm not even pregnant!

coco808 · 14/09/2015 21:25
