Hello, I'm new to MumsNet. We are officially going to ttc baby #1 at the end of September but I'm 1dpo and in the 7 days leading up to ovulation we DBD 4 times. I'm so so hoping that AF won't make an appearance on the 22nd August! Just starting the tww. Anyone else in this boat, or anyone else ttc on cycle 1?

Best wishes,
K x

That wasn't very helpful! The not testing part. And then they go on about overuse of antibiotics. Hopefully it will be fine. Fingers crossed.

I've had severe cramping on and off for last few days. It woke me up this morning. Also feeling emotional weepy with bursts of anger and frustration. I'm CD27 today and ovia is telling me to test in 4 days (my cycle is usually 30-31 days). When we stopped using contraception and I checked the calendar I was on my last fertile day so chances are minimal really.

Annie did you have any more news? (sorry if I missed it)
I started bleeding yesterday (only day 22 of cycle) I'm still praying it's implantation bleed! It's lighter than normal buy still enough to make me think it's a period. Boo. Will keep an eye out.
Went to docs last night about peeing 100 times a day. He gave prescription for antibiotics for an infection but without actually testing for one. I explained I hoped it was early pregnancy thing and he said it wasn't impossible to get them so early. Didn't help when he said his wife was at 39 weeks though (FFS)
Watch this space I guess.

I still have no idea when AF will come after coming off the pill (3weeks ago). I'm hoping it comes next week so that I can get some idea of my cycle, it's frustrating.

Great news Brenna

Brenna24 · 05/11/2015 23:22

I seem to be getting my cycle back again. Grin. I have had increasingly dark lines on OPK strips the last 4 days. I am still spotting a bit but at least I am starting to get into a cycle again. Hopefully by next cycle all will be ok again. I am in the wierd situation of hoping AF arrives on time.

Paige43 · 05/11/2015 23:03

things notice
ops

Paige43 · 05/11/2015 23:02

Great news you have a date and are getting the necessary tests done in preparation for it.

I have been on Google I must admit! However that's because I also saw my GP today, about something not related to TTC. Anyways we got talking about TTC and I mentioned one or two thongs that i have notoced/felt down there. So she did an internal examination and all looks good, but she did notice there was a bit of blood on my cervix and therefore thinks AF will be paying a early visit any minute. Looks like I might be leaving you to go it alone till Friday XL x :(

XL · 05/11/2015 22:37

Thanks Paige have an appt at local hospital 11th Dec to discuss referral. Meanwhile have some forms to get all my bloods done for hormones and DH sample to rule out any other problems (don't need any more!) so at least well have all the results ready for that appt. hope you're ok, and not symptom spotting too badly! x

redstrawberries101 · 05/11/2015 17:54

Lol haha!!

Paige43 · 05/11/2015 08:06

I find my self looking at my boobs say hmm do you look bigger today Grin.

The mind can be mean. Stop playing tricks on us!

Hope your GP appointment goes well today XL xx

MrsBac83 · 05/11/2015 07:34

Lol I know what you mean, I was convinced I was last month as had all the symptoms! It's like mother nature is teasing us! Angry
Have you heard the ad on the radio too for flu jab? " Are you expecting a baby?" Have found myself shouting NO! at the radio lol.

redstrawberries101 · 05/11/2015 05:59

I think it's just near impossible as I seem to get the same symptoms for AF (apart from nausea). I don't think I would be able to successfully spot a pregnancy!

XL · 05/11/2015 00:15

Every month I'm trailing the boards symptom spotting it's outrageous! Most months I seem to have some of them! Shock

It was a palava.. It sounds like you've got all the symptoms!! Maybe a bit early to test. Try and relax n let the magic happen! Smile

MrsBac83 · 04/11/2015 21:16

Wow what a polava melvali! All that stress for nothing!
I'm 5 days away from AF too. Feel slightly nauseous most days, nips are super sensitive, bloated, dizzy and today (I've been counting) I've peed 14 times!!
I did test tonight (first ever) but bfn. Will still hold out for hope on no show for AF and re-test.

redstrawberries101 · 04/11/2015 19:53

Ljomrs, fx your bloods come back ok. I saw a gynaecologist last year as I was suffering from frequent uti's and getting thrush (tmi!) and the urologist sent me to her just for a second opinion. She had asked if I suffered from vaginal dryness and I said no but she gave me a course of vagifem anyway which is local oestrogen as she thought I was maybe getting irritated in that area because of the recurrent infections. Anyways to cut a long story short , I also mentioned I had noticed some facial hair and I asked if it could be PCOS but she said it was highly unlikely because I didn't really fit any criteria apart from the dryness which could or could not be hormone related. I put that to bed and went to the GP a few months later saying the dryness felt bit worse (I think i noticed it a lot more) and she said oh you've been diagnosed with PCOS haven't you? I was like erhmmm no. She did bloods and twice my prolactin levels came back high but all else normal. I worried for about six months regarding this PCOS diagnosis because she wasn't willing to send me to the gynaecologist again but instead wrote to a different one who never got back and then eventually wrote to the gynaecologist I had initially seen. She then told me that the gynaecologist had said if I have it, it will be a very mild form but she didn't think I had it. The GP had put me under all that stress for nothing! The stressful thing was that she was so blaze about it when I said I want a proper investigation and diagnosis rather than just leaving at a diagnosis based on what seemed trivial. I should mention that I was on the contraceptive pill around this time and when I came off it, the dryness improved tremendously! So it probably wasn't really related to PCOS anyway.

redstrawberries101 · 04/11/2015 19:45

I'm about 9 dpo but thinking about it I have broken out in a spot, my face is slightly greasiest and I lashed out at hubby for no real reason (he didn't do any of the admin jobs I asked him to do) so I think it's just AF getting ready to appear!

redstrawberries101 · 04/11/2015 19:40

Ok so I know earlier I said I don't have any symptoms but I am 5 days away from when AF is due and I had a severe cramp a few mins ago. It was like a strong period cramp but seems bit early for those? Could it be an implantation pain?

Paige43 · 04/11/2015 17:51

Snap! Need to stay off Google also! I know i wouldn't have systoms but here i am on Google looking for signs lolx

XL · 04/11/2015 17:13

We can indeed! I'm desperately trying not to think about it too much but as you can see here I am!! Lol! X

Paige43 · 04/11/2015 16:45

So we are XL. ??. We can keep each other company while we wait lol.

XL · 04/11/2015 16:32

XL · 04/11/2015 16:31
