Hello, I'm new to MumsNet. We are officially going to ttc baby #1 at the end of September but I'm 1dpo and in the 7 days leading up to ovulation we DBD 4 times. I'm so so hoping that AF won't make an appearance on the 22nd August! Just starting the tww. Anyone else in this boat, or anyone else ttc on cycle 1?

Best wishes,
K x

Ahhhh congratulations melvali!!

My implantation bleeding was just the same as my period apart from
I had no pain (normally I'm in lots of pain the whole time) I had 4 days of spotting and on the Friday I had really bad cramps which was like I'd never felt before. If I wasn't pregnant I would have honestly thought I'd just had A period xx

Ah congratulations Annie that's great!

You said you tested just after your period didn't you? So period was actually implantation bleed. Can I ask if it just seemed like a normal period to you? I started bleeding on day 22 of cycle, is lighter than normal but very similar to normal period. I'm convinced I'm pregnant though. I did test but would have been too early. I'm going to test again this week I think. Will give it a few days. Fingers crossed there is still hope for it yet!

Woody096 · 08/11/2015 12:50

Annie, that's amazing news! Congratulations!

I had acupuncture yesterday apparently I may be too acidic! Not sure how I feel about it or whether to believe it but will follow the dietary advice and see what happens! Basically I need lower my caffeine intake!

Also on day 14 and had some spotting which is unusual for me. Had a Google (obviously) and came across ovulation spotting? Anyone know anything about it? Bit confused!

Annie0369 · 08/11/2015 12:41

Thank you Paige, 1st July xx

Brilliant Annie hope you have a happy and healthy pregancy. Make sure you enjoy it. When do you think you are due? X

Annie0369 · 08/11/2015 00:28

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been on for ages it's been a crazy week.

Basically I went to the docs on Thursday and I'm definitely pregnant, 6 weeks apparently - were both a bit shocked and in disbelief about how lucky we've been as it was our first month trying!

I'm really worried but staying calm about the whole thing, I've had a bit of spotting but the doc said that's normal sometimes & to go to the hospital if it gets worse (fingers crossed it doesn't)

I have midwife on the 18th & should get a first scan date within a couple of weeks.

Apart form that I have no symptoms which makes believing I'm pregnant even harder!!

Crazy week.

Hope you're all doing okay xxxxx

XL · 08/11/2015 00:05

KatOnATinRo0f · 06/11/2015 10:54

Hi.... Joining myself in if I may??
TTC #1 came off the pill end aug after being on for about 14 years. Feel like my cycle is pretty regular... Had a 28day and a 27day cycle so far, starting about 8 days after stopping pill, with 2 day AF and a lot of cramping. Currently CD10 so hoping this is the month for me...am aware it is most likely to take a lot longer than this but have beginners enthusiasm lol Hmm

MrsBac83 · 06/11/2015 08:54

Lol just remembered when I told the doc that I'd seen things on forum's he said "bloody mumsnet" Lmao. He did admit he has been on here himself.

Paige43 · 06/11/2015 08:52

This TTC game is driving me mad! Why can't it be easy like everyone I know 4 months max and boom BFP!

Not in a good mood today! Feeling fed up of getting my hopes up to then have the witch arrive! As you probably can tell I'm hating the world and unfortunately every pregant lady I see ATM lol. Not to mention the DH is being so blah about it and just saying just relax, so no point talking to him. Really CBA today :( x

MrsBac83 · 06/11/2015 08:52

Yeah that's what I thought. I'm going to pick up the prescription today but probably not start taking until Monday, if at all. That would have been when my period was due. I might still test next week out of interest. (Clinging to hope)
Fingers crossed for you! x (all of you)
